Marsha Ambrosius Celebrates Friends And Lover Album Release

Earlier this week, soul-singin’ songstress Marsha Ambrosius celebrated the release of her new album Friends And Lovers with a private dinner held at Lenox Sapphire restaurant in Harlem, New York.

While attendees enjoyed refreshments compliments of MYX Moscato and food courtesy of Lenox Saphire, Marsha spoke briefly on the new album and a whole lot more.

On the album release:

It’s really been an overwhelming couple of months leading up to what is now this album release for me. It doesn’t quite feel real yet. For me, Friends And Lovers, the journey getting right here to this space took many late nights and some earlier mornings to get right here. So many thanks to those that have the album. And to those are going to get it, because you ARE going to get it (laughs), I emplore you to absolutely be responsible and watch out for your feelings because I don’t have a disclaimer that’s gonna allow your heart not to get broken (laughs). So just have great sex to it and….yeah see where that goes!

On what song on the album will be the biggest baby maker:

Probably with “Spend All My Time” featuring Charlie Wilson. There’s also song called 69 but, that’s not for baby-making; you’re not there yet with 69.

On her favorite position:

My favorite position is whatever he puts me in unexpectedly. When I start having to tell him what to do, or how to do it, that’s when it gets boring.

On working with Michael Jackson:

What you all heard was the demo of that song and once it somehow reached his team of people. They said he heard the demo, loved it and then next thing you know, I’m giving Michael Jackson instruction and working with him to create that record. It was amazing.

Needless to say, Friends and Lovers does not disappoint! Will you be checking out the album?
