I respect everyone opinion. But personally, to start off, HE SHOULD NOT HAVE SLEPTED WITH THAT WOMAN! that’s the problem with so many brothers they don’t think before what they do. I mean had he not slept with that girl, none of this would have happen. Most of the people in the music business have millions and are very famous, and people can easily set you up. I think that the woman setted him. That kid don’t look nothin like him. But i think that it is between snoop and shante to decide who is going to be on the show.

This the key to this story, the moma told the dad, you are out your son’s life!

So the adults here, calvin, shante and laurie had an agreement that i think is good expect the fact that dad and son do not have relationship!

I think all in all expect for the lack of relationship since age 4, snoop has taken a responsible attitude to this situation!

It’s not a battle over child support or allowance or anything!

When you’re thrown out of your son’s life because moma said so, whan can a man do, given he wanted to be with ride or die Shante!

It has been reported that Snoop and Laurie Holmond went to high school together in Long Beach CA and knew each ohther casually, after graduation they parted ways. In 1991 they met again and began dating, they were happy until she heard in 1997 that he had married Shante. Laurie met him at a hollywood party, they did the do and she became pregnant. Laurie admitted that Snoop was there for their son Julian Corrie Broadus-Holmond and that Snoop took responsibility for his son. Calvin paid her a generous allowance and saw his son frequently until at the age of 4 when Laurie learned he was not going to leave Shante. Laurie told him and they mutually agreed that he should stop coming to see his son. Now flash forward to approx. one yr ago when Laurie decided that she wanted Snoop back in their son’s life (almost sounded like it coincided w/Snoop and Shante’s break-up when Shante served him with divorce papers). Snoop agreed to see his son but the visits did not happen. Calvin has acknowledged Julian, paternity was established 6-16-1998 (Julian’s birthdate). While I was disappointed to hear Snoop had a child outside of his marriage (I thought he was one of a few rappers who did not have children by other women-Ice Cube & Kim come to mind), it is not my place to judge. Since when did any of us become the moral compass for another adults behaviour, especially adults we do not know? I think Laurie showed very poor taste in allowing the story to come to light. She did not dispute the fact that she is receiving money etc. It is unfortunate that when human beings decide to do what comes naturally w/o benefit of protection an innocent child is created, who of no fault of their own has to deal w/the consequences. I do not think Julian has to be a part of the TV show, if he is sincere about establishing a relationship with his father then they should do it w/o benefit of cameras. Who really knows if it was easy to walk away from Julian or not (only Snoop knows that for sure) but each time he had to cut a check, he had to think about it. Besides the fact that in times of anger the outside relationship and results of it may be mentioned.
