Testicle Eating Fish Found In Russian Pond

Remember when we told you about  Pacu fish that mistake testicles for tree nuts???

They’re baaaaaack—this time in Russia.

The New York Daily News reports:

Testicle-eating fish have taken over a Russian city’s pond.

Shoals of Pacu – which sometimes mistake human genitals for their favorite snack of tree nuts – have shown up in a landlocked lagoon in the Baltic enclave of Kaliningrad.

A local fisherman reportedly found several of aggressive South American fish – a close relative of the flesh-stripping piranha – last week.

He handed them over to marine biologists, who believe they were dumped in the pond by an aquarium owner after they got too big for the tank.

The Amazon-native exotic fish, which are edible and can grow up to 90cm in size, are now being hunted by local anglers, according to The Moscow Times

Pacu, which mainly live off nuts and algae, were discovered swimming just 15 miles outside of New York City last September.

Retired bus driver Tom Boylan, 77, hooked a 10-incher at Third Ward Veterans Memorial Park in Passaic, N.J.

Yikes!
