I love Beyonce, and I think she’s a beautiful woman, with or without makeup. BUT, I truly believe she looks very average in these pictures. Unattractive? NEVER! But if she were not BEYONCE KNOWLES, multiplatinum, triple threat artist, people would be clowning her. I have come to realize that when people like someone, they will NEVER say anything that isn’t flattering, even when it actually is appropriate. On the other hand, if you hate someone (or don’t like them), then it seems those same people can NEVER say anything nice. For example, Usher’s wife Tameka. Most women of color have some blemishes, discolorations, some texture issues, SOMETHING.

Bottom line is when you see some who has a smooth glowing complexion it stands out because it is not that common. I can count maybe 2-3 days out of the month when my skin looks flawless and then the rest of the days I say “Oh well” :

There is a difference between “glowing” and “greasy.” Glowing is Solange, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Rihanna, Rosario Dawson, and (even though I hate her, can’t say she’s not banging) Naomi Campbell.

GREASY is THIS, Megan Good (although I love her but it’s true, she always looks like she showered with baby oil), Bobby Brown, the bottom of the pan after frying something, etc.

There is a very REAL difference. If she’s truly natural here (again, I doubt it), she should consider facial cleansers and masks that can extract some of that excess oil.

This is the first time I’ve ever saw Beyonce looking greasy though, so I think it’s just what she’s wearing.

She isn’t wearing any makeup, but she still looks decent. We are not used to her without any makeup, so when she doesn’t she looks weird. You have to be confident to pull off that look and confident she does. She’s pulling off a Joy Bryant. It’s not easy being them, because people/paps/bloggers are going to alwasy have something negative to say on an off day when meanwhile all they are trying to do is be regular. You need to let your skin and eyes rest. Currently she is not wearing any eyelashes so it looks like her eyes are bald and that’s what happens when you’re constantly putting fake ones or extensions. I’m not mad at her for being simple. She still looks better than most on their off day. Her worst day is many peoples best day.

The hair is thin looking and it just looks cheap. Higher end lines all carry the “dew” blush…

I tried it once and it was beautiful for about 3 hours and then I was a greasy mess…I guess I have a natural glow…

Most women under 40 appear greasy with this blush/makeup after a while…I think it’s for those with super dry skin, wrinkles, or fresh plastic sugery..

Yup thats my opinion. and Yes I still would say she is, super gorgeous if I seen her walking around as a regular girl. I work at a strip club as a bartender in NYC and seen super gorgeous girls all the time and they not celebrities, and I tell them that they are gorgeous, cuz I have No HATE in blood, I give credit where credit is do. It just seem like cuz Beyonce is a DIVA and she KNOWS it that some people try to bring her down. One day she too damn Fat next day she too damn skinny. Looks like she just had a chemical peel or microderm abbrasion….it does make your skin a little pink/red and they usually put a moisturizer on your face afterwards that gives you a nice glow/shine… even though I think she looks great w/o make up!

And if we’re going to do there on bodies, cocoa/Shea butter is a woman’s best friends during pregnancy. Planned pregnancies are even better, because you can moisturize your skin somewhat to give it some elasticity prior to second trimester, thus reducing the stretch marks you get. Also, elliptical machines and playing DDR with 5 lb weights in your hands helps for toning up post pregnancy once you get the doctor’s okay.

No celeb is perfect! There are some celebs who you think are rocking a fresh faced but are really rockin concealer to cover up unattractive marks. Im not saying some arent blessed with flawless skin, but dont think every celeb (including Bee) is perfect. And I guarantee some of these chicks have cellulite, stretch marks..etc on their bodies but we would never know because they stay airbrushed in the magazines. Its funny how u say, anyone who says something negative about Beyonce a STAN brings up her money, when infact u just flaunted your own success of having a college degree a two car garage that can fit you your hubby ya mama, diamonds (all the material ***** any average Joe can get) etc. Isnt that the pot calling the kettle black? Yes money make the world go round and you just proven just that. I happy for your success as I am happy for Bey, and my own. Anybody who is doing the damn thang I have nothing but L.O.V.E for.

As far as me being a Bartender, Its not my dream profession just something I got into that led me to bigger and better thnigs like party planning and promoting for REGULARS like you and celebrities as well. (And trust I aint lying some very people here on Bossip were invited to my parties and can certainly vouch for that.) However, I didn’t finish school like you, I wish I had, I just went for the faster cash like wear cute outfits and flirt with guys and have my rent paid in a week. Thats me and you you and the moral of the story is you dont have to necessairly be a STAN to appreciate a celebs beauty and success.

I don’t think she’s the most beautiful woman on the planet, nor is she the most talented. Also, something about her appearance just doesn’t seem natural to me. People really need to leave Bey alone! She is 1 of the most humblest celebrities. She doesn’t bleach her skin. It is obvious she is a redbone, high yellow type of chick. She just wears foundation that makes her darker or she goes to a tanning salon. There is nothing wrong with that; it looks better on TV or in print. Like when the Loreal ad came out everyone suspected they made her skin lighter to conform to or appeal to a white/lighter society. I beg to differ I think that was her normal color and they just made it darker because the m*****es and our black folks complained. Of course they are regular people like you and me that look better than her, but can we do what Bey does and be just as successful? Beyonce is not unattractive at all but I agree with everyone else. I’ve always found her just average looking. She doesn’t have features that standout or unique which to me makes a person beautiful like Sanaa Lathan, Naomi Campbell, Kelly Rowland, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, The Megans Fox and Goode, etc. You don’t see many women looking like them the way you can see many women looking like Beyonce.

I think she’s pretty. And I think some of the heavy makeup she wears takes away from her beauty. But she is an entertainer. And it’s part of the job just as it is for actors/actresses.

I don’t think she’s bleaching her skin. But that’s just judging from these pictures. I am a pro makeup artist and I work with models whether white, black, or latin that have faces lighter than the rest of their bodies.

Most people tan their bodies and not their faces. So part of my job is to match their foundation to the color of their body and not their face to make it uniform.

The best way to tell whether or not someone is bleaching their face is to look at their hands, feet, and ears. And if you look at her hands, they are very fair. Her mom is also very fair. So why do people automatically *****ume she’s bleaching her skin?

Unless you personally know her, you do not know it for sure. As a makeup artist, I can tell you to not trust what you see in magazines. Beyonce looks many different shades in different magazines and on tv.

Why? Because of lighting, photoshop, body makeup, tanning etc.

I’ve worked with models that are very light skinned. And when the magazine comes out, they look 2-3 shades darker. Because they edit their skin tone to make it look darker. I’ve also worked with models that are darker skinned, and when the magazine comes out, they look 2-3 shades lighter.

We also need to keep in mind that unless you are porcelain and you can’t tan, or if you are very dark skinned, everyone is not the same color all year round.

I tan very easily. And I am darker in the summer than I am in the colder months of the year.

Fans and non-fans do not really know what her natural skin tone is. And why does it even matter?

Isn’t it supposed to be about the music?
