As part of his marketing strategy for his new release, Eminem d*k rides TI & Weezy:

Rap star Eminem has paid tribute to peers TI and Lil Wayne for restoring “substance” to hip-hop. The Without Me star’s new album Relapse is released in May and in an upcoming confessional interview with genre magazine XXL, the rapper reveals the extent of his addiction to anti-depressants and his grief over the death of friend and D12 member Proof.

And after the release of his new single We Made You, Eminem has revealed that despite taking a break from music he remained connected with hip-hop and felt the genre was “going downhill” during his absence. “It seemed like kinda fast,” he explained. “You know, in them three years, it was like everybody just cares about the hook and the beat; nobody really cares about substance.

“But with this new TI album, with this new Lil Wayne album of recent, it seems like things are looking a lot better now.” He added: “You can appreciate Lil Wayne using different words to rhyme and actually rhyming words that you know.

“Or TI, where you hear s**t and you’re like Whoa, ah, I wish I would have thought of that! You know what I mean? “Or you hear all the compound-syllable rhyming and all that. It just seems like now the craft is getting cared about more.”

Lol at Em getting all edumacated ‘and what not sounding like a professor of Hip Hop 101 or some sh*t. But we won’t deny that the pasty young fellow may actually have a point. Peep more XXL pics below.

Eminem has a point. I’m glad he’s coming back. I’ll be in line to buy his album like I did the others. Number 1 Stan.

  • Jasgood

Eminem is a pointless, pasty P*ssy. Go take your pills and go back tosleep Eminem the culture vulture.

  • Mr. Cool

I like M. I hope his album is good, if not I will have to just keep listening to his old shit.

His content doesn’t always relate to me, but I can’t knock his creativity. I hope the album does well for the dude.

    I love Em’s creative side…

On the other hand, this picture is frightening. It looks like something from the film American History X (with Edward Norton).

Eminem’s on the DL…. but I can’t wait for his new joint

  • Lady Next Door

It’s only a matter of time before Eminem will take back his compliments about Lil Wayne. I realize he doesn’t cosign to 50 cent’s beefs, but other people are waiting to expose Lil Wayne for the fraud he is; the style jacker he is. It’s only a matter of time…

Em has a very good point. It definitely was and still is all about the hook. I love the fact that he always keeps it real whether we like it or not. I can’t wait for the album.

Lil’ Wayne kisses men in the mouth… And M & M is a crazy white boy who also don’t be talkin about shit….

    @ Jasgood

Cultrue vulture? Why b/c re talks about what he has been through? No different from talking bout drugs, hoes and cars is it? obviously there is a lil hatin going on b/c Em has sold more albums than any other rapper period…..So hatin is to no avail b/c it will go platinum at least….White people parents usually are pill heads or meth addicts that is our “crack” so he talks about what he knows. i for one was raised by my grandparents due to my mom and dad were shooting up pills so i can relate…just keep the hatin to urself….

  • ENUF IS ENUF

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH MEN IN THE INDUSTRY GETTING FACELIFTS, A YEAR AGO EM WAS FAT AS ALL HELL NOW HES FIT AND TRIM OK, BUT PLEASE EXAMINE OLD PICS OF HIM AND COMPARE TO THIS ONE. HOMEY HAS HAD MAD FACE LIFT, HIS SKIN WAS TO SAGGY FROM ALL THE WEIGHT LOST. ITS BAD ENOUGH THAT WOMEN IN THE BIZ FEEL AS IF THEY HAVE TO HAVE PLASTIC SURGERY TO COMPETE WITH YOUNGER GIRLS, BUT HAS THE SAME THINKING AFFECTED MEN TOO. I YEARN FOR THE DAYS THAT PEOPLE BECAME FAMOUS BECAUSE OF THEIR TALENT, NOT HOW YOUNG OF AN AUDIENCE THEY CAN SELL TO. THE SAME GOES FOR LL COOL J, HE DID THE SAME THING AND THINKS NO ONE IS SUPPOSED TO NOTICE. SMH MEN..

    LOVE THYSELF

HOPEFULLY HIS ALBUM WON’T FLOP, HE AIN’T GONNA DO LIL WAYNE NUMBERS, BUT SHOULD HAVE DECENT RECORD SALES…
