Indian Businessman Dons 22 Karat Gold Shirt For 45th Birthday
These solid gold shirts must really be a thing overseas. A wealthy businessman decided to spend his 45th birthday flexing majorly in the streets of Mumbai in a $200,000 worth of gold-spun threads. Via NYDailyNews:
Sometimes it takes a village — just to watch your back.
Indian businessman Pankaj Parakh looks like a mint — though not exactly full of mirth — as he takes 45th birthday stroll in a 10-pound gold shirt in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The $211,000 shirt, which is spun from pure 18- to 22-karat gold, is intended to make an impression, not only on passersby, but to get him into the Guinness Book of World Records.
Unfortunately, he can’t exactly get away from it all on his stroll, as he’s employed a small army to make sure his luxe threads are safe from thieves.
Hey, when you have millions you spend your money how you want. We wonder which American Hip Hop Stars or Ball players will be rocking one of these in the VIP section first…
