Jay Electronica Moves Out Of London Rental, Kate Rothschild Moves Next Door To Former In-Laws

Jay Electronica is no longer with British heiress according to international gossip reports.

According to Daily Mail reports:

After banking heiress Kate Rothschild left her husband, Ben Goldsmith, for Jay Electronica, she said the rapper had ‘saved my life in many ways’. Now it would appear his rescue mission is over.

Electronica, 37, who was born and raised in an area of New Orleans known for poverty and violent crime, has returned to America, while Kate is living in a cottage next door to the Georgian mansion of her former mother-in-law, Lady Annabel Goldsmith.

‘We haven’t seen him for months,’ one of Kate’s social circle tells me.

Electronica has moved out of the mews house that he rented in Lancaster Gate, Central London, where Kate, 31, used to spend her days after dropping off her three children at school.

The rapper, whose real name is Timothy Elpadaro Thedford, has become increasingly involved in the Nation of Islam, a controversial religious movement which has long been fashionable in the hip-hop world. Its critics accuse it of being black supremacist and antisemitic.

Kate’s address would suggest that relations have improved between her and ex-husband Ben, the 33-year-old son of billionaire Sir James Goldsmith.

‘Kate gets on very well with Lady Annabel and it’s a convenient arrangement’ one of Ben’s friends tells me.

When the Old Etonian financier discovered his wife’s year-long relationship with Electronica after seeing some of their text messages, he was so angry that he is said to have slapped her and kicked a child’s toy at her. She called the police and Goldsmith later accepted a formal caution.

Their acrimonious break-up was then played out in public on Twitter.

Electronica later warned Goldsmith that he would ‘come see’ him.

Accusing him of giving ‘untrue’ stories to the newspapers, the rapper said: ‘You wanna go public, I’ll go public and you ain’t gonna like it. Stop acting like a b***h.’

In February, Electronica was involved in a heated exchange with bouncers at a Soho nightclub after Kate was allowed in to a Prince gig but he was refused entry. He was later pictured playfully trying to open the door of a car parked nearby that was clearly not his own.

The family home in Kensington was put on the market for £20 million and the couple divorced in April last year.

Yesterday, Ben announced his engagement to ex-model Jemima Jones, 27. Kate’s invitation to the wedding will not need a plus-one.
