Whoopi is doing a great job on The View and her daughter does look a lot like her. Why does it matter who her father is??? Anyway, contrary to most of the self-hating bloggers, I don’t think that Whoopi is an ugly woman. Why does everyone have to look just alike in order to be considered good looking? Anyone can go buy long straight hair, colored contacts and bleach but not everyone is as comfortable in their own skin as Whoopi. Good for you Whoppie. I’m scared, too. But I do get on the plane – but the anxiety I suffer before I go on the trip, etc. I sometimes wonder if it’s even worth going. If I book the trip 3 months prior – I have anxiety for 3 months, while waiting to board the plane. I know it’s crazy, but it’s true. But I do get on the plane and go and THANK GOD, I”m here to talk about it so I can say – it all turned out good. And I will continue to fly.

Whoppi was my neighbor growing up in San Diego. She is one of the most genuine people you could ever know. Regardless of what you haters say she is down for the cause. She has done so much for black kids, out of the lime light. Her daughter’s name is Alex and she is a sweet heart as well. Like lots of black women she figured that if black “men” passed her over for fat white girls she may as well have a relationship with white men rather than be alone.

For all of you who want to comment on looks and dating, consider how shallow it makes you. Let me say that I believe Whoopi Goldberg to be one of me smartest women in the celebrity game. She has the accolades (Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony). She knows how to “work” in the business and yet she also has given time and money to charities and causes.

With that type of background and the content of this particular story, it’s interesting to me that the only thing someone can comment on is her looks.

The funny thing about people commenting on her looks is that I don’t think Whoopi has ever gone without male companionship (unless she choose to). You see, for a lot of people, a great companion/spouse/significant other/etc. is not because of looks but who the person.

If looks are so important to you, there is no need to disparage her. In other words, don’t diminish who she is because of who you aren’t
