Tyra Wants to be a Mommy

Tyra recently announced that she is planning to adopt a baby in the near future:
“I’ve wanted to adopt since I was nine. I have a connection with children and they don’t have to come from my womb for me to have that connection.”
It seems like babies are the newest fashion accessory. Tyra should work on finding a father figure for this kid, and we don’t mean Ms. Jay.
Let hope that she doesn’t treat that baby like her employees by feeding it McDonald’s.

I think that she should focus on herself first rather than “trying” to adopt. I catch her shows every now and then and I believe she’s crazy. She needs to work on that and herself and the bad advice she gives to those top model contestants.
I think adoption is GREAT but not with her. Pubically she is a mess so how do you think she is behind closed doors. I know their are a lot of people who are far worse than her but let’s just stop before we add another child as a “lost cause” due to poor parenting. But on the flip side, who knows, a baby will ground her ass (if she doesn’t hire a nanny). She needs some reality. Actually, she needs to birth the child so she can feel labor pains and shut the hell up about why she cries every night. After that, bitch wont say shit.

Well usually people don’t tend to act crazy until they are at home away from the cameras. But she is willing to show that on camera. And as much of a fan of Tyra as you are, you should know that she talks about herself ALL the time. I don’t have to know her personally if she is broadcasting herself as insane on her show.
Taking time to get to know yourself is not only better for you but for a child. When you are confessing your feelings and “crying” on air it doesn’t make you real. Sometimes it comes off as you just trying. Please listening to her, you can tell she is still trying to find herself.
But like I said earlier, she needs to attempt to brith the child naturally so she will stop the faking.

Ya know, she should adopt if that what she wants to do…even if she is single. I’m sure foster kids would rather have ONE parent than NONE. And since she is so financially stable, she’s be a great provider. Okay, she overacts a bit much on her show and needs to bring it down a notch or two, but she seems warm and caring (thinking about her camp for teen girls) and probably would be a great mom.

Tyra is just following a national trend. There was a Newsweek article out a few weeks ago about how the upper middle class and rich are having more children again and more wealthy, single women are adopting than ever before.

There is nothing to indicate that these women won’t love the children. The majority of women are doing it because in many social circles it is considered ghetto or low to have a baby out of wedlock, but admirable to adopt a baby without being married. This is a good alternative for women like Tyra, who has a lot of millions in her little empire. She won’t have to deal with child support or other nonesense that she would with a natural child’s father. The love for the baby is the same.
I would prefer her to find a father figure for this child 1st. Until then, stay child free.
Just to clarify, I was referring ONLY to women who adopt or have children as an accessory…

Ms. Banks if she’s sincere. One question, though; where is she going to get this child? Fashionable sorts don’t really adopt American, do they? The usual European sources aren’t likely (can you imagine the Russians or Poles or Albanians letting a black person, no matter how fabulous, walk off with one of their surplus babies?). And Africa seems to be wrapped up by celebrities with more clout. Maybe she should have done this a while ago. The ground seems a bit picked over now.

WHETHER ADOPTING OR UNPLANNED PREGNANCY, IF YOU KNOW YOU’RE NOT AT A STATE WHERE YOURE MENTALLY CAPABLE OF RAISING A CHILD THATS UNFAIR TO THE LITTLE ONE. THANK YOU! Yes, adoption is a wonderful thing, but children need a mother AND A FATHER in the home. I hope she is taking it seriously and not as an accessory. She does seem to have a shitload of issues that she may want to work out before she screws up the head of an innocent child. But hell, we all have issues. I was watching one of those gossip shows and they were asking celebs on the red carpet about a celeb (a single woman, can’t remember who) who had just adopted. One response was (paraphrasing) “That’s so sweet! After a long day, she needs something to cuddle up to when she gets home.” WTF??? Can’t you get a dog for that? Or maybe, start with a cactus and work your way up.
