Petition Formed For Mississippi Elementary Student Ava Lynn

Remember when we told you about Ava Lynn, the Mississippi girl whose school claims that she was badly bruised after a “playground accident”???

Well, a petition has been launched to have cameras installed at school districts to keep these kinds of accidents (which def looks like it involved other children) from happening.

Our children are important to us and their safety is our number one priority. We, the parents, want to ensure the safety of our children when we send them off to school.

We cannot go to school with them to protect them so we rely on the teachers, the educators. When one of our children is sent home from being brutally injured at recess and no one can answer ‘why’ or ‘how’, then it is time for a change in our safety department. Installing cameras in and around all schools in our district is the only way to insure our children’s safety.

Had cameras been at the school where little AvaLynn was injured, we would be able to identify her attacker(s) and get justice or this horrendous attack could have been spotted and stopped.

We now know that supervisors alone are not enough to keep our children safe. Please take a stand with me and sign this petition to install security cameras in all Pascagoula School District schools.

 

Ava Lynn’s family is continuing to ask for support via their JusticeForAvaLynn Facebook page and the school continues to claim that “no other children were involved.”
