In THIS case, I don’t know wtf is going on. I still just see all kinds of red flags when I see that the accused is willingly going out to dinner at a place that I now know is a hotbed for paparazzi. I believe that he didn’t sue them because they would have been allowed to present a case that included not only their accusations, but the potential accusations of others. I think that THAT is what he didn’t want to deal with. In the long run, it is really really difficult to prove molestation (especially when it took place years ago) and could have been a case that would be easy enough for him to win.

Just look at Immature and the positions they were posed in, in beds, sitting up on each other, looking all doe-eyed in the camera, or hardly having clothes on …..how they wore clothes, the hair styles??!! Or better yet did you ever see them withthier parents. I think only 1 magazine had IMX with thier families. In fact they had 4 special magazines devoted to them and Chris was not in one picture, but you saw about 10 other groups under Chris’s label. Yet only Smooth, IMX, Quindon and Monteco did albums. In fact all the guys that didn’t appear shirtless in those issues (except Quindon) released an album or was even talked about.

Before everyone is so quick to judge, how many of you have ever been in an abusive situation, mental, physical or sexual? It is not easy to just wake up and forget, you are constantly being maniputaled. At the end of the day they are all still related. Chris probably ran the story to Raz and Ricky about how if they do this the family will be destroyed, he has looked out for them and no one will be able to do that if he goes to jail. he promised them anything they wanted and they agreed. This was not a publicity stunt, what would they gain, did they really believe that after telling the world that they were molested and then retracking it they would make more fans? Comon’ the abuser has once agin put his claws in them. They have struggled with neglect their whole lives, there mom was on drugs, Chris sister was messed up. Omarion’s dad is in jail, clearly they need some family counseling. We can say what we want right now the real test will be when any of them try and sell an album or song, Do we continue to support the abuser by supporting them?

As a victim myself I just want everyone to know that the reason Chris Stokes and Raz B are hanging out. When someone is sexually abused, there abuser usually creates a relationship w/ them that is none sexual and that of good friends. You get to know each other just like regular friends and then the abuse starts and from there on you’re compltely confused! The person you trust, confide in and consider a friend has just molested/raped you. As much as you hate and fear that person, you still have those memories which you thought meant something. Not to mention these predators prey on kids who can’t tell anyone and feel like they’re abuser is an important part of there lives. Chris Stokes has for sure done this to Raz and I see all the syptoms. Raz knows what Chris did to him was wrong and at the same time still thinks of Chris as his “friend” and cousin and probably feels some what guilty about telling on Chris. This is what abusers do! They try to make it so you feel sorry for them and easily can get you’re sympathy. Because of this abuser, the victim lives in a world of confusion do to the fact the person that hurt them might have also been that father, brother, mother, friend figure they never had. Because of that they hate themselves and feel like they’re messed up for deep down having love for these people that abused them. They can’t deal w/ themselves and usually turn to God and in some cases drugs to ease the pain. Chris Stokes needs to be put away.

I’m confused. If someone has molested you why sit down and have dinner with your abuser especially if you’re an adult. By the same token, if someone accusing you of molesting them or being inapporpriate in some way why would you have dinner with your accuser. No one accused of such a heinous crime(s) would have a public sit down with the accuser. Where is Stokes attorney? I though he was initiating legal action. No attorney would allow this. It looks suspicious on both sides. Are the young men afraid of Chris Stokes? Probably. Is Chris Stokes trying to smooth the situation and quiet them with offers of money, threats or whatever? I agree where are their parents, aunt, uncle, anyone that could support and guide these young men. How incredibly disturbing and sad.

That video is just too weird. If they sat discussing the recent events why didn’t anyone come out looking somber or reserved? RazB and his brother came out of the restaurant seeking publicity. Anyone with common sense (especially the primary/oldest adult and person being accused) would have selected a discrete location to have a discussion rather than Mr.Chows in the heart of Los Angeles. I’m sorry it just doesn’t add up. But like someone said above stroke of genious on Stokes’ part to have the meeting and hugs of reconciliation take place in public. Personally, I’m sick to my stomach over the whole thing.

I have mixed feeling about this whole situation. Whatever is going on I can almost bet lots of money is involved sad.

I believe there was some form of sexual contact. If you are innocent of molestation charges and some one accuses you, more than likely you hate that person for their false accusation. If you are molested by someone more than likely you hate them for the molestation. I smell a lovers quarrel that was resolved. That said love with a 12 year old is molestation. What they’re going through now however seems like a willing homosexual relationship.

The ultimate goal here was to obtain exclusive rights to the B2K trademark. I think that is what the ‘pay off’ was. See, Stokes swindled management rights of B2K out of someone else’s hands. Stokes took and held exclusive rights to the group and most of their profits, even though it wasn’t HIM that created the group. The three guys Raz-B, Lil Fiz, and J Boog established that group, before Omarion. B2K is still a profitable trademark; they wanted to reorganize under that, but this time they wanted to keep their earnings and not hand them over the TUG/Stokes. And, I suppose, they’ve grown out of getting felt up in order to establish any negotiating leverage with sick ass Stokes. They’re men, now, not children.

That’s what all of this was really about. They just used “the truth” to get Stokes to budge. They didn’t lie about the molestation/rape claims, they just reneged a bit to cover themselves legally. The meet up at Mr. Chows was them merely catering to Stokes’ demented psyche. “We love each other, man!”. Sure it’s love, as defined by Stokes. They’ve been playing the game on his terms all this time, but the tables have now turned.

The molestation thing with Stokes won’t end here. And I think when the R. Kelly trial finally goes into session, this issue will come up again.

and I don’t blame them one bit for how they did it. Sometimes you have to fight grime with grime.

that’s a great point about the custody. Yeah, his mom signed over custody of Raz over to stokes. That usually ends at age 21. And he’s 22, so he was just released. WOW. So, he was forced…my heart goes out to Raz. And I wonder what the situation was with the other dudes. It seems to me like they all came from broken homes.

According to the videos, his mom signed custody over the Stokes while she was trying to kick her drug addiction. And it seems to me, given the nature of this dude, he probably got her high to take advantage of her and her situation.

I don’t know why. I’m a little older than the B2K generation, but I really want to understand this story. He really touched my heart when he said he was being molested and just seeing how he was handling it in the video clips, I really admire that dude. I was mad for a sec because it seemed he lied, but this thing is REALLY complicated.

I definitely will support this dude if he comes out with his book. He has a great voice and I just know he’ll make good music – he has something of value to say.

I hope it isn’t over yet. I would really like to know what really happened between Chris Stokes and these young men. It’s been how long since B2K broke up. They are adults now so recanting just doesn’t ring true to me. I can see a child doing that out of fear but a young adult. Sometimes a 22 year old can have the mentality of a 16 year old. If that’s the case the group is all he knows and once that was gone he could have been feeling abandoned, alone and hopeless which in turn could lead to depression and a desire to reconnect with something or someone familiar (even an abuser). It sounds wacky but it happens. This situation is very complicated and for those boys I pray that it gets resolved. They will need extensive counseling and unconditional support.

And for those of you sharing a little bit of yourself online you are survivors. Please refer to yourself as a survivor. It’s much more empowering to be a survivor versus a victim. In addtion, being a victim implies you’re currently in the situation.
