Mary J. Blige Album Sales

Mary J. Blige’s album “Growing Pains” has moved to the No. 1 spot on the Pop charts. Her album is the 36th and last No. 1 album to reach No. 1 in 2007.

What a way to end the year. We commend Mary for continuing to make it rain on these measly little hoes for over a decade.

Now if only she could get rid of that tired azz wig!

  • Bones Jordan

@ Kas, bad meaning bad or bad meaning good(worst Rev Run impression ever)?

  • Bahama Mama wants her hubby back FREE HUBBY!!!

    um k’…

  • Soul Cry

Good for her. I have it, liked it better then the first one she put out this year. I have some personal faves on there, and I like how it flows from track to track.

You go Mary, show them who wears the crown.

The funny thing about Mary is she doesn’t exactly hit a note, she is somewhere in between…but it works for her.

  • Betty Crocker

Go head Mary! Mary is Mary and as long as she keeps being herself she will shine.

    Learn the lesson yall!

  • Mz_Magnificent1

Mary’s new album is the truth…her best release in a minute, I can listen to her cd from start to finish.

I can’t wait for her to have a concert in DC…

  • Ripper

I give her props for lasting in the music game cause many don’t. Not really feeling most of her music days, she will never do another joint like Whats the 411.

new CD …its alright…its gotta grow on me. she looks good though

  • JeanineJeanine

    No hateration here.

  • GorgeousBlackWomen

I’ll have to disagree. Esp on the CD.

  • Oh F@ck That!!!

After 17 years in the game good for her. I am happy for her AND R&B cuz if it weren’t for people like her, Alicia and Keyshia, R&B would be just about dead.

  • Angel

I’m so happy for Mary. She has been in the game so long and is still on top – and not because of gimmicks and publicity stunts. But because she is a respected artist. I have her new album and I love it.

  • mr mr

    what can you say….

Mary is the truth…longevity in R&B is almost unheard of nowadays…especially 15 years!

Honestly, how many R&B artists that had hot albums 15 years ago are still relevant now?

let’s see, there is Mary, Mariah, Janet, and R. Kelly.

    Not many….

Keep doing your thing Mary…nothing wrong with being #1
