French Montana Speaks Out About Break Up With Khloe Kardashian

Last week, in surprising news to no onerumors began swirling that Khloe Kardashian and her rapper boo French Montana had called it quits on their short-lived summer romance. Neither camp spoke out to officially confirm or deny the claims last week, but French (sort of ) addressed it in a recent interview with People Magazine.

He may be on the heels of a high-profile breakup and battling, in his words, “baby mama drama,” but French Montana is still smiling.

The Moroccan-born rapper’s split with Khloé Kardashian not withstanding, Montana, 29, appeared relaxed and confident while hosting a fight weekend party at Hard Rock Hotel’s Vanity Nightclub on Friday.

“I’m feeling great,” he told PEOPLE. “Feeling great and looking even better.”

Prior to the breakup, Montana and Kardashian were nearly inseparable since they began dating in April.

Specifically, the two spent a lot of quality time together over the summer: Montana was on hand to help Kardashian celebrate her 30th birthday not once, but twice!

Surrounded by a large group of friends, Montana said he planned on drinking and attending the Floyd Mayweather/Marcos Maidana fight on Saturday. As for his personal life, he admits it isn’t going as smoothly as his weekend.

“[I am] working on movies and my album and making sure all my artists are straight,” he said. “And definitely try to get rid of all these problems I got.”  When asked about his problems, Montana replied, “Baby mama drama and all kind of different [stuff].”

Well, French is right about one thing…he definitely has more than enough woman drama with or without Khloe by his side. And after all, she DID say she was “just having fun” with him.
