Sweetie, I’ve been Europe and travelled many places, probably more than you. I know alot of Blacks migrate to Europe, predominately those coming from Africa and the Caribbean. My mom was one of them and the racism she experienced there was worse than America. The racism and the prejudices there are just as bad maybe worse than America. I’m not saying that Blacks can’t get opportunities over their but don’t deny the racism. Thanks

So , my conclusion about u , is that you judge only by a few people , about one generation , i think that people was fro USSR generation , and u know , i can understand them , because a lot of ***** was with them in USSR time.So if you dont know a lot about another people , dont judge all russians.

You are correct that my impressions of Russia and Russians are subjective, all personal impressions are. But Russians are the most racist people that I/I have ever encountered. I know the difference between propaganda and reality. I also know what it is like to walk down he street in that godforsaken country; people are openly hostile to you. I once purchased something in a store and the clerk kinda threw my change back at me, afraid to touch my hand like the Sade song “Immigrant”. Have had more crazy, racist incidents in that country than I care to remember. I have been all over the world, from Bogota to Ulan Bator (look it up) and know a little something about people… Russians are racist. Period.

Now that is, of course, a sweeping generalization. Generalization are never %100 percent accurate and you may be a decent person (I’m *****urming that you’re Russian). But if you’re defending racial treatment in Russia, clearly you are not a person of color and if you are, clearly you have never been to Russia.

It’s funny that notbody has touched on this yet, by Russians are the most racist people that I have ever encountered. I have been to Russia 5 times for work. Blacks visitors are encouraged not to leave your hotel after dark. People openly glare at you when you walk down the street. Skinheads roam in packs. And everywhere there is a prevailing sense of lawlessness and gangsterism. Even the President of the country is a hood! Check out the movie Eastern Promises and you’ll get a good feel for the culture. Look it up, blacks are attcked all the time in Moscow. It’s a miserable country and I have vowed never to return.

So the headline should be interpreted as, “Can you believe somebody gave $500K to a *****?” That’s what they meant.

Also, the article was highly offensive and it made a disrespectful and demeaning racist comment about blacks. It suggested that a black woman was purchased and a white man OWNED her……the newspaper certainly crossed the line. I though Russia had moved forward but instead it still has a backward mentality – by the magazine making a racist comment like that and further allowing it to be published and thinking its a joke.

and people who keep on about her forehead, how many times u gonna mention it. geez it’s prominent so what? she is gorgeous, gosh!!
