if you sign a pre-nump after a wedding date has been set and a venue held and people invited, your lawyer can try to argue that the contract was signed under duress and therefore making either party feel forced to do so. i would imagine that there were all sorts of issues that made Norma feel as if she had limited options. that being said, if it took have as long to marry as it did to divorce, people wouldn’t enter into it so foolishly. it actually takes more time to do a civil union that marry…interesting food for thought.
