Run-DMC’s Darryl McDaniels’ New Comic Book Has Latino Characters
Darryl McDaniels of the legendary Hip-Hop group Run-DMC is taking a break from rapping to do some much needed work in the world of comic book production. After hiring a bevy of Latino illustrators and writers, McDaniels is addressing real societal affairs in his avant-garde comic book, which boasts characters of Hispanic background. “I didn’t want to be another rapper who was trying to capitalize on the Hip-Hop genre,” said Daniels.
