Saleisha of ANTM’s makes her debut in the new Seventeen magazine. All of the backlash couldn’t keep this girl from heading to the top. We hope that she sticks with modeling and doesn’t use this as an excuse to get into industry parties. We’re not saying any names.

She’s average at best. She looks like a prettier version of Ciara and that’s not saying much. You can spot a look alike of her at any ghetto mall at the Hollywood Shots picture place tryin to be “models”.

Diva Eva and Danielle are hot, but Ya Ya is the one getting all the commercials. I see her rocking hair product commercials and great skin commercials left and right. And not just Covergirl either.

what commercials have you seen ya ya doing? if you can believe it i saw jade old ***** in a print ad in some magazine. i think eva & dani (her agency renamed her) are the best models tyra ever produced. theyre both fierce in print ads and doing runway.
i didnt like saleisha for the win but i knew from the first episode she would win. she was a tyra banks favorite. on the show if youre one of her favorites it really does afford you a better chance of winning
i actually thought the girl Hether deserved it. she had a ethereal beauty going on and i thought she just needed work on her runway walk, but she definitely would book more. some agency will probably ***** her up and work on her and she’ll end up being antm

there were people, past winners and contestants from ANTM who said saleisha won by cheating. and wanted tyra banks to pick another girl, because there were stipulations such as the contestant can not be signed with an agency, can not be working as a model, and i believe you werent supposed to have experience.
saleisha had all of those things at one point, the only difference was she was not signed with to an agency. so past ANTM contestants felt it was unfair.
and also, saleisha met tyra before at her summer camp for girls who have low self esteem, and other issues… so they felt she already had an edge w/ tyra.
snoooz city….one of the other bossip sites said it best…she looks like Ciara with a tooti (facts of life) mushroom….she is quite average…this year’s ANTM might have completely turned me off the show forever…soo weak….Tyra will need to bring some extra stuff next season or ratings will definitely drop

ANTM was very boring this time around and Saleisha was good, but she didn’t knock my socks off. Dani, Eva, and that one white girl who use to be fat – they were my favorites. I didn’t even think Nik was all that. YaYa, however, is blowin bytches out of the water right about now.

Oil of Olay, Pantene PRO-V, Essence, the list goes on. They know where they fit in the fashion world and they’re great at it! I think it’s better NOT to be the winner of these competitions. Modeling agencies don’t want MADE models. They want moldable fresh, high-fashion girls who don’t seem fake like these winners. They don’t want TV top models taking away from their clothes, they want industry girls creating the hype.

That’s why so many try out. Being on the show gets you attention. Some of those girls are doing tv shows on cable networks that normal folk like us don’t watch.
If you make it to the top 5-7 on the show, you got a deal somewhere after the show. Somebody is going to hire Heather and I bet we will see her more than Saleisha.
Now lets see we have seen black, white, latino and mixed girls win. When will see the fat, gay, ultra hood or Asian girl win?
Jaslene just signed with South Pole clothing. So if you shop at JC Penny, SEARS and “read” Vibe, get ready to see her ads. I guess the Eugena and Mario/Omarion & Marques showcase wasn’t cutting it. Although I still saw Nick Cannon South Pole ads despite teh fact he left them 4 years ago.

Based on what you said above it sounds like Saleisha shouldn’t have been eligible to compete. Hummmm. Very interesting. I’m happy she won but the hairstyle has got to go. I co-sign on the Heather observation. She took the best pictures all around and should have won hands down. I feel her Asbergers Syndrome did her in. The deficient social skills is hard to compensate for in a field where your ability to converse (and give eye contact) and get comfortable in a variety of situations at the drop of dime is a necessity. Not to mention she was uncoordinated as hell.
Jaslene was just too damn skinny and that voice…made me want to claw my eyes out.

my favorite girls on season 2 were Mercadez who should have won and April Saran. I liked Toccara Yaya and the winner Eva. on season 4 I only liked Naima who won any way. on season 5 my girls were Bre & Nik and nik should have won…on sason 6 i liked Brooke, my girl Danielle who won… on season 7 i liked Anchal and thought she should have won. On season 8 i liked Whitney and after she left i liked Jaslene. and on season 9 my girl was Lisa i thought she shoul have won but Saleisha was koo i guess
