Gunman Opens Fire At Washington State High School

Police are on the scene at a Washington State high school after a gunman reportedly opened fire before taking his own life.

A shooting was reported in the cafeteria of Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Washington at about 10:45 a.m. Friday.

Police told The Seattle Times that a student who they believe opened fire inside the school was dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

At least two injured students were being airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, KVAL.com reported.

The Olympian and other sources are saying as many as six people have been injured. Multiple ambulances, police cars and emergency vehicles were at the scene.

Students were being evacuated from the school Friday morning. KOMO News is showing live aerial footage of the scene.
