It is so sad that this young man felt his need to reach out to his father in this medium. This speaks so highly to a much bigger problem in our country today. Deadbeat fathers. Mr. Brown aka Al B Sure should be ashamed of himself. His own flesh and blood to say such things? I hope this letter serves as an example to all deadbeat fathers everywhere.
Quincy, you should be proud of yourself. You are on your way to self recovery. Please be the man your biological father is not. Please be a good husband, father, son, and brother. God bless.

Just because a man can sing does not make him a father. this man’s own flesh and blood has called him out for his bs. this is just the beginning of bad karma for Al. He is a deadbeat with his kids, his heart and his soul. his soul is dead. who could support a record from a deadbeat father and a human being (if you read quincy’s current letter his dad has still not reached out to him). his dad is too busy trying to make a comeback at his 40yr old tired self. he has no time to be a father and he does not care. i for one am glad quincy is far away from Al. It will save him years of therapy.

Texan you speak the truth. Q is better off without ABS. I praise Diddy for being the man in his life. A man to raise Quincy and be there for him. I love Diddy for that. As for ABS he makes me sick. He deserves nothing.

so what if the dead beat is busy making his music. being to busy for your blood is just bad on every level. and for all the fools that say puf is behind it all. now that is just stupid. ya all think puf is going to stop his money making just to screw up the dead beater. like puf has nothin to do but to target his lady’s ex. this is between abs and Q. maybe exposin to the net is bad but maybe it is only way to get the focus of the dead beat. ya it is bad but Q is hurtin. His daddy left some bad taste for Q. ask me. i work 14 hours every day to raise my kids. their dead beat dad is gone away like abs.

All I can say is whoa. If all kids wrote letters to their absent parents like this maybe there would not be so many. this young man mother should be proud of him. He knows that to go on in life he must let the past go without any anger. Good for him.
