Is this a joke? Here’s a little throwback clip of a preacher discussing the “fickle negros” and how they have turned on the Clintons for the “Half-white boy”. This guy gets a “Ho Sit Down”. And yes, a Reverend can also be a ho.

  • Canus

    WOOOOOW

  • athena Free MJB’s impersonator

    Imma co-sign. and first

  • Kdogg

Is he less black than the Clintons?

  • Canus

This is worse than the funeral I went to for an 8-month old child, and the preacher’s sermon was about how he pawned his rings on Candler Rd in Atlanta.

    Too ashamed.

  • athena Free MJB’s impersonator

    i mean, second. :}

  • elle

    who is they?

and people don’t have the right to be “free thinkers”

you’d be a fool not to look at all prospects before making a serious decision. since when is Hilary Clinton a posster child for black people?

    they……

    the church needs the spirit.

  • Darth Paul

Hell yeah. MOST Revs are hos, if you check the record.

  • Hilary’s Fake Cry

There will *always* be overseer’s for the Massa

QUICK somebody check those young boyz behind him for violations!!!

(EVERYONE CAN SUPPORT WHOMEVER THEY CHOOSE – BUT HIS REDERIC SOUNDS LIKE WEIRD PSYCHO-BABBLE FOR THE OLD THOUGHT – WE ARE MOVIN’ FORWARD REV NOT SCARED OF YOU – CREEP)

  • Dalia (Take That Pic Of Lil Kim Down!)

This is a disgrace before God and lightening should hit him and set that grease in his hair on fire!

This is why black people MUST reject so-called “black” leaders telling them how to vote.

This man should be ashamed of himself and his congregation should fire him!

  • AND…

“the negro peope”… he does know it’s 2008 right?

WOW. He even had the audacity to say black ppl are untrustworthy and unstable? “this is not racist or anything, praise the lord” huh!?!?! Seriously I didn’t know ppl like this were still around. I mean I knew we had som crazies but dayum.

  • Dina

This is a classic example of why people are losing faith in churches, when you have lunatics up in the pulpit spouting off Lord knows what.

  • AND…

Hey don’t say it here. Click on the link again and in the upper right hand corner of the youtube page there is another link called minisaiah in blue. It will take you to his page where you can leave a comment.

  • http://roedaltonjr@comcast.net Roe ski love

I thought politics and religion did not mix. Also was that his sermon on first sunday? I didn’t hear one amen at all. This type of rhetoric is what discusses me. No one goes to church to here your political beliefs pushed on them. Educated COONING at its best.

  • Pastor Manning’s Hairline

I just wanna know why nobody ain’t been checking for me since I been gone?

  • Big C Here

He sounds like that dude on that show ‘The Boondocks’. The guy with the krazy eye. Kinda looks like him too, for real!

  • Lauren

    sad, oh so sad

  • im so pretty

Damn your right ”roe ski love” i thought the two didn’t mix.i dont know what to say for my people anymore.oh i forgot, did anyone take out the time to look at his baldind hair

  • John

I’m carefull of what I say about a Preacher,But, This fool must be crazy!!! He didn’t get struck down by lightning did he?? Man the things people say without thinking, Its shameful, simply shameful!!!

  • truself

We should start a campaign for Obama called “STOP black on Black Crime”. It’s a damn shame when black people not only kill each other but shoot eahc other down for success.

If you do not vote for Obama it’s a black on black crime.

  • tlatrice

    woo…woo…WOO!

OK, now that I’ve picked up my bottom lip and started to breathe again (because I was just holding my breathe for a minute…just in shock), I tried to listen to him and put this in the context of a sermon.

    I THINK…

    …he was being sarcastic.

Persoanlly, I need to hear the whole thing to decide because it sounds like he was saying somethin before hand that would have tied into this being sarcasm.

  • truself

White people have always supported each other on issues just as race a lone but we are urged not to vote black.

hillary will just make more ways for minorirties to not succeeed by handeding them a welfare check.

And she has not said a thing on illegal immigration. Everyone keeps acting stupid like the only illegals are hispanic. It is bigger than them. We have to make immigration laws to protect us from terrorist and other dangerous illegals, as well not just hispanics.

Church and religion should nto mix. Money talks!!!!

  • DR. FUNK

Points up the TOTAL IDIOCY of organized religion.

  • baeyaki

wtf the sad thing is that he is mentally ill, and yet the real CRAZIES are the ones sitting there listening as if it makes since!!!!

  • DR. FUNK

Two things I hope occur as result of this election.

1)Black voters hit the dump button on the Democratic

    Party in LARGE NUMBERS.

    2)Organized religion…and especially THE BLACK

CHURCH end up even more marginalized & irrelevant.

  • PrettyMissSunshine

This is sick. I mean if you don’t want to vote for Obama because you don’t believe in his tatics or his views than fine, to each your zone, however when you are the leader of a church, your own personal political views shouldn’t be forced upon others. Stick to the word and not your own personal perfrences on who you think is what. He should be disgraced. And then you have these people who hangs on every word of thier preacher or pastor, giving them thier last dime and not able to think for themselves becasue they feel that this man is a servant of God, when in actuality this man, are using these people for his own personal use.

  • PrettyMissSunshine

I meant he is a disgrace. sorry!! :-0

  • P Diddy

Ho sit down is right! This is one of the reasons i don’t go to subscribe to organized religion anymore. Self-hating, under-educated preachers make my stomach turn. Who are they leading and to where? Stick to scriptures and leave politics to people who actually read and form their own opinions!

  • tj

    “You’re untrustworthy” “You need help”

He sounded like an abusive husband. I thought he was going to go out in the audience and get his Bobby Brown on. “WHat happened to the Preachers Wife…”

“she tried to vote for Obama”

  • RiotGrrL11

Someone needs to photoshop little white boys standing behind him, followed by placing KKK members in the audience, because that’s the only way the lunatical ranting of this Clayton Bigsby will make any logical sense to me.

Lord, I pray for all the fools standing behind pulpits claiming to be spiritual leaders…

“Obama’s father is not even American, he’s African”…*sighing*…And just where does he think his heritage leads back to!?!

  • binary star

When you hear a black person refer to black people as “they” you know you’re in for a wild ride.

  • truth

    What an idiot he is

if i were there i would have booooed him

    fat ass

  • uptowngirl

This fool gets a big STFU!! He is just wrong on so many levels that I don’t even know where to begin. SMGDH!!!

  • tj

    “Before television”

I hope he wasn’t talkin about Hillary in 1933

Also I think the first part is sarcastic, but the part about Obama’s race he was serious about.

  • constance

    Ignorance at its finest!

  • Just Sit And Be Pretty

OMG, is this…God forgive me…assclown…for real? I am conflicted between laughing at his sheer ignorance and oxymoronic statements and SMDH.

I like how he adds the caveat, “now, this is not racist or anything…Praise the Lord” when his main focus is on Obama being lightskinned and his white mama.

  • AND…

    @Common Sense

I agree and cosign with all of your statement except praying hasn’t gotten us anything/anywhere. I don’t know your religion/faith is and I am not here to recruit but if you haven’t tried Jesus then you need to b/c He may not show up when you want him but He’ll be there right on time.

  • EZ Rawlins

“Do you see? Didn’t I tell you?”

Can you believe a BLACK MAn would utter these words while talking to whites about OTHER BLACKS? This is absolutely amazing. I guess we’d insult him by referring to him as ‘Black.’ Or maybe we wouldn’t; maybe anyone who agrees with him are ‘Black,’ but anyone who disagrees (i.e., thinks for themselves) is ‘Negro.’

(Sigh). To know there are people who co-sign anything uttered from a pulpit simply because the person doing the utterance is purportedly a ‘man of God’ is enough to question the validity of organized religion. It is INDEED an opiate.

  • PrettyMissSunshine

I like them both I just dont know about that universal health care..so i might vote for someone else. I keep imagining sitting next to some homeless person in a packed doctors office.

    @AND

I am not attacking prayer per se as much as I am attacking the sentiment that has somehow permeated into our community that “Jesus will work it out.” Too many of us sit on our butts and/or act helpless mislead by the notion that “Jesus will take care of it.”

Well, it doesn’t work like that. There’s only one thing that will control the fate of African people on this planet….and that’s the African people themselves.

  • khia213

Somebody should contact the IRS, cause this is the kind of crap that needs to be reported. You want to use you pulpit for poltics? Then you should pass taxes like the rest of us for the privelege.

  • rachel

This so called preacher is why others look at us and assume we have no brain cell function. I feel like sending him to micheal Jackson’s doctors to remove any sign of blackness from him,and removing his vocal cords and ability to write..sounds mean…but problem solved…if only that could be done to the sambos ,and race triators. Race relations would advance in leaps and bounds.

  • Taz

He is such a clown. WoW. He needs to check Clinton’s record on the whole Rawanda incident. He doesn’t love black folks, he only tolerates the ones that can vote for him.

  • wa-diddy

I was hoping someone was going to come up and shoot his ig-nant, george jefferson lookin’ ass at the end of the video. There are way too many people like this in our community. We need to purge ourselves of tom fetchits like this; the sooner, the better!

  • wa-diddy

Rachel, that is the realest comment. And I bet you somewhere in that “ch-utch” where reverend flake is hallucinating, a picture of a white jesus lurks.

  • Sun Goddess

this is some bull. why go to church if you have clowns like this who are racist (despite what HE said) to support white people? Bill Clinton and Hillary will turn their backs on black people cause they are NOT BLACK! Period!

    Obama 2008

  • he’s right

black folks were all in love with the clintons until now. oh Bill Clinton is the “first black president” blah blah blah. and now the race card is being pulled. very fickle. but thats the way black folks are about everything. choosin sides every other minute. its like we cant think for ourselves as individuals. we turn on each other every second just on this site but let someone say something we dont like and we got our fist up in the air talkin bout black love. so retarded

I can’t wait till the power shift. negroes like this will be the first ones up…… soon black devils soon…….

  • Roberto

some black people have so much self-hatred its really a shame

  • PrettyMissSunshine

What I can’t belive is the ignorance that this preacher is projecting on to his congregation. I am pretty sure that at least half if not all of his congregation are at or just above poverty level, proably don’t watch the news, and don’t really know what is going on. All they have to go on is the word of thier beloved preacher, a man who they put on a pedal stole. These people belive in him, and feel that whatever ignorance that is spewed comes from a godly man, which in thier minds must be the word of God. Most of these people don’t know any better, so they will go along with whaterver thier leader says. In a way, most of these churches are like cults. These preachers brain washes these people and it’s sad.

  • AND…

    @he’s right

Judging by the posts on here, (before yours) black ppl are not as fickle as you and Mister Preacher would like to think.

  • PrettyMissSunshine

    @ he’s right

I agree with you, and I liked Clinton when he was president, he was actually one of the greats in my opinion, its his wife that I was never fond of. And as for turning on them, I am not turning on them, I just don’t agree with the manner this so called preacher, is swaying people of his congregation becasue of his own personal assumptions and views. The manner and which he approached Obama was pure ignorance, and wasn’t well thought out at all. And those people were at church not a politcal rally. His comments sounds financially motivated if you ask me, and It DISGUSTED me.

  • PrettyMissSunshine

OMG i MEANT Pedestal. LOL LOOK I IGNORSNT TOO!! LOL

  • Supa

In any other case, I would be ready to jump into this with a dissertation.

However, some of you are so on point concerning the “Uncle Remus, tom foolery” of these Black so-called leaders/preachers that I feel no need. Job well done, spread the word.

As to Andrew Young, Bob “tap dance kid” Johnson, this idiot, and other so called Black leader that opposes this young man. Let me say this:

“Obama is a reflection of what it right about us.

Somewhat inexperienced? Yes. However, this is the first time in our history that a Black candidate has a legitimate shot. Please get out of his way.

Shirley Chislom….uh, No. Jesse? Please….Big Al Sharpton? Not even with Jesus himself as a running mate could James Brown’s godson win any elected office.

Obama is attempting to be a countinuation of the shining legacy left by our heroes of the sixties. He is inspired by some who all of you may know well.

Yes, he is playing the “white boys’ game” politically; As he should. Don’t wave the race flag. Beat them at their own game. Be competent, ‘articulate’, smooth as butter. It’s par the course. He is not grinning, dancing, and jigging. He is standing upright and giving them all they can handle. He should be applauded for this.

Andrew Young said “I’m for Obama in 2016″. This may in fact be best. Gives time for experience and other needed policy lessons. Still, Mr. Young should have never have said this publicly while standing next to Hillary. Screams that you were bought, Mr, Jackson.

In closing, Obama represents us now. Right now. I want my six year old daughter to see someone who reflects the best of us run for this office. Our people, your people need to see this.

    Get out of his way.

    Supa”

    Guess I wrote a dissertation after all….lol

P.S. – Rachel, watching how you move on here, love. I dig it. We need to friend it up. Love a militant chick.

  • Denebolo

So many contradictions coming out the mouth of this man, where do you begin unplugging the holes? Suffice it to say he’s a weekday racist biggot and sunday morning saint.

  • JeLoi

After reading the headline for this story. I was honestly hoping it was a joke. His comments are just some of the reasons why they view us as idiots. I hadn’t decided who to vote for, but I am definitely leaning towards Obama. I do not owe Bill and Hillary Clinton anything and this is a free country and I can vote for whomever I want!

  • Strong Black Man

My pastor never discussed his political ties with the congregation. He definitely spoke of issues, but never who he endorsed. thats what the Billy Grahams and Jerry Falwells do

    When we sing our song

    At times we maybe crying

    And nothing’s even wrong

  • PrettyMissSunshine

    @ strong black man

Let the church say amen!!! :-) I’m loving this conversation and everybody being on the same page. Keep it up yall!!!

  • about it

This preacher is definitely on the payroll. Sad thing is, the payroll is prolly not much bank. These are the same preachers who led our folks to subprime mortgages (I can feel it, Sister Jones, the lawd want you in a house dis year) or who took money from the Bush Admin. for faith based initiatives and never spent a dime to help the newly released from jail, get a meal, training, job or even bus fare. The silver lining in all this — when black folks vote the so-called black leaders out of their positions of influence and make up our own minds about things. I was leaning for Edwards but I am sure I will now cast a protest vote for Obama.

  • AND…

    Strong Black Man

Man stop that. Don’t make me cut up at work. I’m the only black person here.

    I sing b/c I’m happy

    I sing b/c I’m free

    see what you did?!?

  • helltothanaw

Why is this surprising? Our fellow brothers and sisters have some deep self-hating self-esteem issues goin’ on here. This is why people need to think for themselves and seek the truth, instead of someone telling you how to think. Why would you ingest 2nd hand information when you can do the research and decide for yourself. No one can tell this man anything, he is truly beyond ignorant. These are the people that have to be silenced because they aren’t doing us any favors by opening their damn mouths.

  • AND…

Absolutely beautiful. All we see of ourselves are negative images. From music to clothing society has been blaming black Americans for everything but your above statement is so perfect in every way. We are always talking about how we want someone who is doing something good, being positive, and taking care of business. What better example than Obama? He is showing not only the white people but THE BLACK people, look at what you can do. Young black men: you are more than your dicks, clothing, rims, cars, and clothes. Young black women: you are more than hips, lips, and thighs. He is showing us the world what it right about us.

I’m going to rebuke his ignorance! I realized that voting for Obama was the right choice for me, when I asked myself the question, “Would you vote for Obama if he were white?” When I able to say to myself, he is the best candidate regardless of his skin complexion, I then decided he had my vote 100%!

Vote Obama because he is the BEST CHOICE!!!

  • lovely and amazing

The old black guard is so envious of Obanma. Envy is an evil emotion and it makes even religious people wicked.

This frightens me because these are the elders who should encouarage and support and protect Obama.

I am so sick over how black “leaders” have taled negatively about Obama and let Obama down. They don’t have to vote for him but they don’t have to slander him. But that is the evil envy working through them.

Black folks come in every color under the rainbow. Adam Clayton was fairer than Obama. Charles Rangel is fairer than Obama. Obama looks more African American than Jesse Jackson if you want to get picky over hair and features.

Why are these Southern preahers attacking Obama’s blackness. It’s such a blatant divide and conquer tactic of the Clintons to sit back and permit this and enjoy it. Their liberal racism is so manipulative and sickening.

Blatant, in broad daylight, at the preacher’s pulpit a man of God insulting a courageous, educated, qualified and prepared biracial black man running for President.

How could a preacher do this in front of black children attending church. What role model is Hillary for them? And Bill is no kind of role model for boys no matter what race!

People are voting for Obama because he is qualified and has touched a universal heart in America.

I am growing concerned about Obama. It’s always black folks who envy and hurt black folks. Obama reminds so much of an evolved grandson of Malcom moving to change the very conditioning and conditions of this country.

Southern blacks are so hypocritical with the “half-white boy” crap. They love them some light skin and soft hair. They love to hate on black skin and kinky hair. On the real, I think Obama is actually not “mixed looking” enough, “pretty enough” or “white looking” enough for these black folks. And he’s married to an eduated, dignified, beautiful and visibly black woman. This I think is these people’s real problem with Obama.

We gotta see through the crap and keep keeping on!

    OBAMA 2008!

  • Nita

I just got banned from Democratic Underground after posting this video there in the thread

“Clinton gets endorsement of California NAACP president /The Hill – 15 minutes ago”

A person who claimed to be a black woman in the past, GoldCanyonAz, reported me. She reported me because I stated that Malcolm X spoke in the past about slaves who loved massa more than themselves, even when they were being sold.

That’s a bannable offense, apparently, at Democratic Underground.

But I put the video up, after she said she was reporting me.

I don’t believe she was the only one to report me, as others have in the past when I’ve had something to say about the Clintons.

    Sucks to be me, right?

I went to atlah.org and let Rev. Manning know the buffoon/coon I think he is! You can leave his simple ass a note if you visit the website, then choose the “Contact Us” tab, then choose “Feedback/Commentary.” If he can refer to me as a “fickle negro” and opine that I “need prayer,” then I felt free to let him know he has trumped Bob Johnson as my personal buffoon/coon of the year, and 2008 just started!

Remember what Malcom said about white liberal racism- Wolves In Sheeps Clothing! Democratic Underground, please. How are you a democratic underground when you ban a black voice for quoting Malcom. White liberals think blacks come second to them. And a lot if their slaves like being second to them. Billary have trained their slaves really well. Clinton more black than Obama, only a slave would say that.

Wasn’t the KKK the first democratic underground, since the liberals founded it. Instead of burning crosses, they ban blacks from message boards.

the website city-datadotcom bans you for even mentioning that racism against blacks exists. And they allow racist postings like maps of the “blackest” places to avoid living.

Lovely and Amazing, are you serious? who is citydata? and why would they allow that?

I am just shaking my head. Something is wrong. Something is dreadfully, dreadfully wrong. And the Clintons are manipulating it. I have to question ‘what’s in it for them’ for those who endorse the Clintons, at this point; particularly members of the Black community.

But that’s just wrong to allow people to map ‘the blackest areas’ to avoid living in. Speaking of which, did you hear about Hillary Clinton speaking to a predominantly Latino audience this past weekend talking about ‘new people moving in’? as if it were a negative? Now, Hillary has a greater percentage of the Latino vote (and Asian vote) going to her than Blacks; why would Hillary invoke ‘new people moving in’…. to a Latino audience… when she’s pro-illegal alien and had earlier tossed off lines about ‘guacamole and chips’ shouldn’t be separated, and ‘no woman is illegal’?

Lovely and Amazing, I’m not the only one DU has done it to. I’ve sat there and watched their moderators delete posts which I figure most blacks would understand even if they didn’t agree with them… but apparently members of DU don’t like to hear those voices. There’s also a man who claims to be Jewish who supports Hillary Clinton on there who calls people who are interested in Obama ‘sheeple’.

DU is a place where (some) white members insist racism doesn’t exist in the Democratic party — even after being given examples of such racism by *other* white members. Those same people insist that only Southern, White, Republican, Straight, Men can be racist… as if there’s a gene, and it only exists if you meet those five criteria.

And then there are those who insist on calling Obama a homophobe because McClurkin was scheduled to sing at an event last October.

DU had a lot of concern trolls posting the ‘Obama is a muslim’ smear emails, verbatim in its entirely.

Hillary Clinton (and Edwards) supporters at DU insist that Obama is slinging mud at Hillary Clinton. When asked for proof, they mention Jesse Jackson Jr asking where Hillary’s tears were for Katrina; and then mention Obama collecting a list of every smear Hillary has made against him.

They don’t even bother to mention the ‘alleged’ smear of Obama claiming that he hasn’t decided to run for president as long as Hillary… the alleged smear that led to Hillary tracking down the man’s KINDERGARTEN TEACHER. They don’t mention it.

But these people are down for those tactics, they are down for the Clintons lying about Obama’s abortion record, lying about Obama’s statements about Bhutto, trying to smear Obama with being a muslim, trying to use a black Republican who contributed to Bush — Bob Johnson of BET — to smear Obama as a coke dealer while the Clintons were running for office. They are down for all of it. And lets not get into people actually arguing that LBJ *was* more instrumental to the Civil Rights movement than Dr. King.

But it’s Obama supporters who are ‘sheeple’ only supporting him because he’s black. It’s a trip over there at DU, girl. But I can’t hate. There are people fighting the good fight over there, much better than I am, or would have. My disgust with the Clintons and their surrogates probably gets in the way.

And there is more to the site than just the Clintons successfully screwing everybody over for their ambition, and the supporters who support them in doing it. But I never thought I’d be banned for mentioning Malcolm’s statement. It’s a different world.

I ‘hear his heart’ loud and clear. He is one of the millions of black people who, deep in their hearts, don’t believe we are as intelligent as any other race.

Nobody is looking at Obama because his mother was white. We are looking at him because he is intelligent. The first real, viable, African American candidate for President.

Ol’ preacher boy is scared. If Obama is President, much more will be expected of us. We will no longer be able to just keep blaming the white man for our poor judgement. Yes there’s racism, but, many of us continue to stupidly believe that white people are better than us. That God gave them a part of the brain that he didn’t give us.

I have for years supported Hillary. She lost me with her lying on the Immigration question, regarding her support for New Yorks’ Eliott Spitzer. They all say whatever they need to say to get into office, that I’m aware of.

I will not however, join with any white person to illspead any black person. Never have, never will. I have watched many black people on jobs side with lying whites-to be favored against blacks. Make no mistake, whites know exactly what they’re doing when they turn us against each other.

Hillary is scared of Obama. He has a real chance of winning his partys’ nomination. She feels that she has endured so much being married to Bill, that it’s her turn to fulfill her dreams. He was President, so she must also be President. This is not a Monarchy.

If she didn’t see Obama as a threat, she and her supporters wouldn’t waste time with these old don’t trust that Negro tactic. She is terrified that Obama has more support with both Democrats and Republicans. Unlike Hillary, Obama has been able to work with Republicans during his time in the Senate. He has been able to get Bills passed.

If Hillary wasn’t scared of Obama, she would spend her time singing her own praises, not, playing the old race card. She needs to also shut her whoring husband up. Who’s running for President here. I hear his lying mouth more than hers.

Oh, on second thought, keep talking Bill. You will guarantee her a loss.

  • idkmybffJillBoinChicaBoinBoin

“Half white boy”? WTH!! Is that like being a little bit pregnant? I’m tempted to leave, “hey Rev. shake your family tree…all the branches ain’t brown brah”, on his website.

  • anonymous

Why are some of us so scared. Do you realize that most of the leader in the Caribbean are black- and have been for decades.

America touts itself as having the best educational system in the world. Yet, when we have anyone who’s not white, who’s succeeded and exceeded in our system, they’re not good enough; not ready.

Obama is highly intelligent. He is like most people in the world. When we are young,we feel lost, we make stupid decisions. He at least learned his lessons young. He wasn’t an older, mature man, committing adultery left and right. Lying about it and humiliating his family.

Hillary went to New York as a Senator to get experience for her Presidential bid. She cried because she realized she should have run 4 years ago. Now, she sees her chance slipping away. Obama did what she was to scared to do. Now she’s mad at him because her chance may be gone.

Make no mistake, if Hillary is the nominee, she will be defeated. Republicans, neo-concervatives and evangelicals alike hate her. They will come out in droves to defeat her. Evangelicals don’t believe women should be Leaders of countries for religious reasons. Neoconservatives don’t think women have the emotional fortitude to be leaders.

Obama has support across the board-Dems, Repubs and Indies. The fact that a predominantly white, midwest state chose a black man, shocked white America, including the Clintons.

I support Obama ’08. Win or lose, I will support an intelligent and well-intentioned black person-male or female anyday over a race-bating,hate- inspiring, self-entitled person-regardless of color(Bob Johnson-BET)anyday.

    anonymous:

Could it possibly be that those of us who don’t support Obama aren’t ‘scared’, and that we just don’t like him for certain reasons?

I can’t stand Hilary, and the fact that I saw herholding a little black baby this morning makes me hate her more, but aside from the fact that Obama is half black (considered fully black in racist America), what is it about him that’s so intriguing?

For me, the main issue is ending this war and occupation. And while there are other issues that are priority to me, foreign and domestic poliies are always intertwined, and if an administration is pre-occupied with foreign policy, we may as well forget about the economy and everything domestic. So, again, the war/occupation is the main issue for me, as it is for millions of Americans.

Anyway, Obama is a typical Democrat. And I don’t expect change from him simply because he’s black. In fact, research his voting record, and do the same for Hilary, and you’ll see there’s VERY little difference between the two. So the fact that they keep fighting like they’re on opposite teams is a mystery to me.

The truth is, there really isn’t any hope for America unless the PEOPLE demand more from the government. Apparently, we’re too comfortable in our ignorance to even consider doing so…

WOW WOW WOW. Is this really happening? Are we REALLY in the year 2008 STILL looking up to the great white man and white woman as our saviors who we name “honorary blacks” but condemn a black man for being half white????? WHAAAAT?

So Black people owe the Clintons something because Bill was named an “honorary black man?”. Why? Because he has an afro and plays the saxophone? Because he created a few programs that helped people in the black community?? That’s what ALL presidents should be doing!!!!! “Fickle negros?” WHAT YEAR IS THIS? AM I IN 1848 RIGHT NOW?!?!?!?

And LETS NOT FORGET. BILL CLINTON IS NOT RUNNING FOR OFFICE! HILLARY CLINTON IS! Two different people! And I’m sorry, 8 years being First Lady does not count as EXPERIENCE. You were NOT the damn president! You did not make the decisions!

If living in the white house is the requiremnt to become president, WHO THE HELL COULD WE EVER CHOOSE FROM!?!??

This whole experience nonsense is straight up racist. Obama has PLENTY of experience! Not only was he in the Senate voting AGAINST the Iraq war when Ms. Clinton’s stupid ass was all for it, he also gave up mucho money to become a community organizer…working WITH THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE.

Anyways…whatever. I’m heated. I’m also hurt. Hurt to see my people so brainwashed STILL! STILL!!!!!?!?!??

  • Malaika

If I could have my way, Kucinich would be president. But I appreciate Obama’s ability to unite the country and improve our reputation overseas. The latter is extremely important.

BTW: Obama approved the $ for the war only so that soldiers could have the necessary items they needed to live well. He was ALWAYS against the war/occupation.

  • Malaika

And obviously, freedom in America really means “limited choices to choose from”. We will never really have a completely progressive president. There are too many evangelicals and conservatives in this country. So we fall somewhere in the middle. Republicans and Democrats are not all that different. But SOMEONE has to be president!

And in my opinion the best, most electable, someone out of our limited choices is OBAMA!!!!!

  • nahnah

    Malaika,

The soldiers cannot live well in Iraq.

Everyone, including Obama, know the only way to stop a war/occupation like this is to stop funding it.

He’s doesn’t only support funding – he’s also against setting a date to pull them out.

I don’t mind someone who’s in the center, but I mind if you’re secretely pro-war, as Obama is.

  • nahnah

Also, Malaika, someone definatley have to be president. And as I’ve said before, I don’t fully hate Obama – as I think he’s a decent individual with personality – HOWEVER, America, in my opinion, is upside down for many reasons. And only a true radical can clean up the mess Bush (thanks to gullible Americans ) have created the past 7-8 years.

You dont have to be an Obama supporter but damn it seems like more blacks attack him then the whole GOP-its sooo embarassing, and this tape clearly demonstrates the detachment alot of black churches have with the Present, there was no discussion of th issues -just the fact that his mom was white and his Dad-not even Black but …African!(GASP)

this being addressed to American blacks like were of pureblood ancestry

And tiray I agree with you I do consider myself a christian but I always get into it with other christans because I think the church funds should be going towards the community and not towards lavish gifts for the pastor

If Hillary is all of that, then can’t her supporters stand on her record and her offerings instead of attacking Obama’s race?? If you can’t, then something is seriously wrong.

And this fool is calling us Negroes??? Okay David Duke. Dude better get a clue. May Jesus strike your prejudice a$$ down, Reverend Bastard.

For the love of God, please people in South Carolina vote against this crap that is taking us not just back to the 1990′s with Clinton, but I guess the 17 and 1800′s and before, with these jokers who call black people Negroes and other names like flaky!

That will be so messed up if white people – who we have tried to “edumacate” to look at people’s character – will embrace Obama, but then black people don’t in South Carolina. It’s tricky, though, because I also don’t want to say that blacks who vote for Hillary or Edwards are against black people. That’s not right, so I want to make sure that is clear.

This is a hell of a race and people like Reverend Negro just making it nastier. Thanks a lot.

    - A Voter on the East Coast

  • Capt. America

Don’t you silly negroes see what’s happening? You’re playing into The GOP’S hands. They want you to vote for Obama. They want Obama to win The Democratic Nomination.

It will be easy to defeat Obama during the Presidential election, due to the white voters getting cold feet and voting for the status quo: THE MIDDLE AGED WHITE MALE.

The last thing they want is a run off with either Hillary or John Edwards. Hillary + her trump card Bill, will get most of the women and minority vote by default + a decent amount of the moderates, who’re tired of the Iraq situation.

John Edwards will get the Minority vote by default, a large percentage of the women vote and a large amount of the moderates.

You want the candidate who stands the best chance of booting the GOP out of the White House. Trust me, if Obama gets the Democratic Nomination, he’ll be lucky to get 30% of the votes against MacClain, Julliani or Hucklebee. Remember White Voters + Cold Feet = STATUS QUO.

  • nahnah

    rachel

Sadly his odds of winning are slim to none right now so I ain’t got bets on him.

    ___________________________

That’s what the establishment want, my dear. They want you to lose hope so you can continue to support the status quo.

Ron Paul – a true anti-war candidate – has millions of supporters, and that’s why he’s been labeled a racist via some mysterious newsletter. But, a real racist wouldn’t advocate for the abolishment of blantantly racist drug laws/so-called war on drugs.

I don’t agree with his stance on affirmative action, BUT – it’s not because he’s a racist.

Regardless, the ‘racist’ thing is simply a smear campaign by the media. Additionally, it’s a way to divide and conquer and to keep the black population away from him.

Moses said “Let my people go” come on, it’s time to let go and let a leader take control!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh Lawd Ron Paul Is Not Black People’s Friend

Oh please, Ron Paul, the man who would sit by and watch Israel get nuked? A so-called Libertarian voice is a “messiah” for Black people? What a JOKE! LOL. If we followed Paul’s logic, the government should have stood by and not enacted legislation that fought against Jim Crow laws, et al. He would not have signed the Civil Rights Bill of 1964.

The types of people that support Paul are schizophrenically all over the map, from neo-Nazis, supremacists, young [radical] Muslims (those ones are baffling) and of course, the people who believe the Twin Towers were taken down by dynamite and not by two jetliners crashing and igniting full fuel tanks! If you appeal to such a wide range of nefarious people from dichotomous camps, again, something is seriously wrong with your message. Let’s put it this way: Paul brings a whole lot of the *wrong* people together.

If Paul was a true Libertarian, he would not support the closing of the American borders and a crack down on illegal immigration, for true Libertarians embrace “freedom” of movement and choice of place to live. He likes to pick and choose.

I think a lot of Republicans were either turned off, offended or frightened by Paul’s lax attitude about Israel in last week’s debate . Hell, most Democrats balked at his attitude – which speaks to the subtext of his views on Jews -as well.

When I read his website long ago, I kept seeing the words of someone else over and over again. Oh, Ayn Rand!

And he’s quite the isolationist as well, is against all safety net programs that help poor and vulnerable people, worker’s rights, and again, he would be against *any* legislation regulating discrimination against blacks, women, Jews, gays, etc.

I know a lot of people were attracted to Ron Paul when he first came on the scene with his anti-war sentiments, and I agree with him about this phony, horrible war, but for different reasons. I think he has brought a lot of issues into new light, but for people who care about such issues as civil rights, etc, Ron Paul DOES NOT have your back. I agree – read and research – and through this, it will become apparent that Ron Paul is not progressive at all.

In a couple of months, he will be history, so I don’t worry too much about him, but it’s laughable that his supporters have convinced young Blacks that he has their best interests at heart.

Put it this way: I would rather see the people who are clearly being targeted on this and similar Black folks’ boards to support Pat Buchanan if he was running!

  • Oh Lawd Ron Paul Is Not Black People’s Friend

P.S. I don’t think the media needs to divide [black] people against Ron Paul. Ron Paul’s views will do it for him. He needs absolutely no help. :) He’s enjoying such “high” voter percentages so far, heh.

I would love to hear from people who went to the Republican Caucuses in Iowa or Wyoming their reports about the behavior of Ron Paul supporters there. I’m sure Paulie’s were reasonable and rational. (insert sarcasm). I’d Google it, but it would mean putting more time into someone who is going to be inconsequential in short order.

  • Oh Lawd Ron Paul Is Not Black People’s Friend

Sorry, I forgot to add this to my last post:

Nahnah scribbles: “I’m still trying to figure out how Obama managed to raise so much money. He’s obviously being funded by those evil Jewish groups since he’s so much in love with Israel and AIPAC. <<

Hmm. L-O-f*ckin’-L do you cut and paste much, Nahnah?

It’s sad to see such racist hatred coming from a black girl, but based on what I wrote above, what do you expect from a Ron Paul supporter? I told you he attracts kooks – and self-hating ones at that – and his racist subtext about Israel and Jewish people is so obvious, Mr. Magoo can see it. I don’t care if you are a young black girl, you are disgusting for being so racist and you contradict yourself when you say Ron Paul isn’t against affirmative action, etc because he is not a racist YET you parrot his supporter’s (ultimately his) racist spew. Would you like a picture drawn for you? It will include a middle finger, however…

Buy a clue since you obviously lack critical thinking skills. Sorry, I don’t know what to do about that poison heart of yours though, since good hearts aren’t for purchase.

    _____________________________

How is the fact “racist”? It is indeed a FACT that Israel is the ONLY Middle Eastern country that posess nukes. Additionally, they don’t (or think they don’t have to) follow international law.

Anyway, America is inheritently racist, so the government as a whole is racist. And unless I see solid proof that Paul is a racist, then I will believe it – until then – I see this as a smear campaign. Oh, and I don’t support Ron Paul. I support welfare, affirmative action, gay marriage, abortions, and just about everything he’s against – EXCEPT for the death penalty, war on drugs, and Iraq/Afghanistan war.

BTW: I’m sick of people referring to Jewish people as a race. Wake me up when you discover proof of a Jewish ‘race’.

  • Oh Lawd Ron Paul Is Not Black People’s Friend

    >> he answers a lot of our concerns <<

Really? Which ones would those be? Just the war or other concerns about the environment, clean tech, foreign policy, health care, Social Security, the economy, the global markets, the mortgage crisis, terrorism, food safety, trade issues, biotech, privacy laws, genocide, ethnic cleansing (oh, wait, being bigoted against Jews, you wouldn’t care about other group’s plights about such issues) property forfeiture? What? I see neither of you responded to the policy and philosophical issues I raised about Paul, the substance of your answers were, “We need to get the word out about Ron Paul!” Snicker. Unable to copy and paste fast enough, eh?

Yes, please do, get the word out, and keep showing people that Ron Paul’s platform attracts silly, unsophisticated, unread bigots like you two. It’s doubtful you can even pronounce Ayn Rand. Nobody wants you to vote for anybody but Ron Paul. We wouldn’t lower ourselves to ask for the support of dullards.

I’m off to bed, so I’ll let you wild-eyed girls have the last word. Of course, Ron Paul’s last words will be, “I am now dropping out of the race for President of the United States.”

…and nobody but fringe fools like you will be crying. :) Thanks for the enlightenment and free laughs at your wit-free expense.

    @ Nita

Thanks for the replies and info. I can’t even check out DU because it will upset me for some racist liberal jewish man to be calling supporters of Obama “sheeple”. WTF! So we got our black leaders and their “real black” Clintons trying to discredit Obama and the everyday racist on DU discrediting his supporters.

You know I was stupid or hopeful enough at one point to think they all the black elders would feel so proud because isn’t Obama what they worked for all these years. I still in shock from the intraracist crap their slinging his way.

    We gotta keep keeping on!

    OBAMA 2008!

    Qualified. Prepared. Ready.

  • nahnah

Funny how just about the whole world is a bigot if we don’t agree with and/or support Israel. Give it a rest, please…

    Speaking of rest…

    I’m out!

  • lovely and amazing

Go to City-Data(dot)com in the New York and Chicago sections and read the racist stuff people get away with saying about blacks. One guy in the NY section asked where are the bad places in NYC and a guy replied with statistical maps color coding and detailing only black areas. Sick. I won’t even repeat the racist comments that went with this posting. I posted a reply asking the moderators to delete it and they banned me just like DU did to you.

  • lovely and amazing

Israel stole Palestine. I’ve met jews not afraid to admit it.

  • nahnah

I was banned from indymedia – a so-called progressive website.

White liberals turned against Dr. King…

  • Tada

What year does this a** live in. And what the f**k is he smoking???????? Nicca Please

  • optimus

Why s Cinton who is an experienced politcians and who knows the weight of words made those comments… Because she needed the controversy, she needed to remind white voters that Barak Obama is first of all a black candidate and he is not that candidate of the reunification of the country.

Are the Clintons racist? No i do not think so, but those two are ready to do anthing to remain in power! And yes if it takes a racial controversy to go back to the white house, they are ready to do that!

I rather vote Edwards if Barak is not electable, but it is time to break the clinton-bush cycle!

  • Kurt Eric Munroe

That was the first minstrel show I had ever witnessed. How fitting it came from the church.

I bet Hillbillary just loved hearing black people being called Negroes and disloyal after blacks have been overextended to the party and to the Clintons for way too long.

Sambo in a cape up there talking about “I told you Bill. Bill. Bill. I told you about these negroes.” So, he and Bill discussed negroes, huh? Why am I not surprised?

  • On Point

The preacher is right, just because this tarnished blood african, he gets a pass in the black community just b/c he has w**** in him. Obama is nothing but a tool for his w**** massa’s, he is what i call a house nekro.

  • marla williams

  • marla williams

HE made a big deal off of OBAMA having a African Dad and a white mom… DOESNT HE HAVE AFRICAN IN HIM!! and im sure there is some White in his family BLOOD line somewere!! PEOPLE DO NOT BE FOOLED GOD is LOVE he sounded very upset and madd at NEGRO’s like its are fault we have went thru some of the things that we have been thru… THE white Man will TAKE HIS CHURCH FROM HIM and not think twice and he will expect all the NEGRO’s to gather and MARCH with him for the right to have his church Back… SO sadd he talks the talk but is not walking the walk WWJD = what would jesus do.!

  • Sistah Gal

sorry ya’ll – Obama recognizes that he’s a black man – married a black woman and went on to have black babies – he has my vote, at least i know how he feels about his own and that’s good enough for me, as simple as it may be :) people, just vote with your heart don’t try to rationalize the race issue too much – if you feel it’s time for a femanine perspective, go ahead and vote for clinton, if you want the legacy on a black american president, then you know who to vote for – personally, i think only kucinich was qualified but then again, i also thought al sharpton should have won :)

  • lovely and amazing

    @ Nita

    @ Nah Nah

Banned by white liberal progressive sites for speaking up about racism? No, you’re kidding. Folks need to expose white liberal racism and put Billary on blast.

  • Cherry4Obama

    @PM

    ————————————————–

  • Fulani

    @Common Sense

That reverend or whatever the hell he is does not represent the majority of black churches.

I am involved in church and I see first hand how the community service and outreach programs provided by the church have helped people. Please be respectful of the preachers and volunteers who are making a difference.

The answer is not to turn away from church, but to be actively involved in community service and vigilant and aware that there are false preachers (even Jesus talked about them). You can sit and complain about the world and the plight of the black church or you can do something about it.

BTW: Barack Obama is BLACK. Having one white parent does not diminish your blackness.

I will educate myself on the issues and weigh all options before casting my vote. However, I won’t deny the fact that all things being equal between Hillary and Obama, I will vote for Obama. As a race we have contributed so much to this country and after hundreds of years why shouldn’t one of us be president. ( – :

  • Malaika

It’s funny how Obama is ridiculed for being half white, and yet the Clintons….??

Are we forgetting that the Clintons aren’t actually black at ALL? Afro-wearing,black-baby kissing and saxophone playing does not make one black! But somehow we OWE them our lives.

All Bill Clinton did was the BARE MINIMUM for Black communities. He only stood out because it was the first time a U.S. president acknowledged the community (in present day). The BARE MINIMUM. And all of a sudden we owe him our lives????? Because of some damn food stamps?

  • Malaika

I had a white liberal friend tell me recently that blacks dubbing clinton an “honorary black man” is an ONGOING JOKE among whites. They think it’s pathetic….and it is.

  • Drebe

That was a case of “post dramatic slave disorder”

  • steeloz

In response to all those pontificating that Barack Obama cannot win the general election, consider this: OBAMA won a substantially larger per centage of voters who crossed party lines (Republican & Independant)in New Hampshire than Hillary Clinton…an indicator that he will fare better in a general election.

  • politically correct

Somebody really needs to tie this Uncle Tom, fake ass civil rights wanna be fool up and stick him in a prison with his mouth restrained. He’s more ignorant than Adam “Pac man” Jones. At first he ade me encouraged to do a more thorough investigation on the candidates now he makes me want to slap his ass. Why are these dummies in his chrch supporting him. He is an !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cynthia drain

this is exactly why i don’t go to church. i grew up in church, as did most old schoolers; it did provide some degree of spiritualism even when i was old enough to have “free thought”. now my church has a minister in it just like this one…there is nothing spiritual about attending my church now and for other churches i’ve “researched” i get the same feeling when i’m there. we are not clones people…think freely…your conscience will lead you to the “right” thought and, if it turns out not so right…at least it’s your thought.
