Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) and Will Smith (The Pursuit of Happyness) were nominated for Best Actor today by the 79th Annual Academy Awards. Eddie Murphy (Dreamgirls) and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamonds) were nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Dreamgirls was shut out the Best Picture category but Jennifer Hudson managed a nomination for Best Supporting Actress (Dreamgirls).
