We are ALL fallen. Every one of us. I think what makes the distinction (for me) is whether a person acknowledges that or not. It wasnt going to be enough for me to hear that Obama was a Christian, no. Why? Because there are some Dem platform issues that are not Biblical. My faith lines up with Republican ideology on abortion, and gay marriage but I know that its showed itself to be divisive as h*ll. So I looked at Obama and was convinced that not only is he sincere about his faith but candid about his struggle with it. He understands what ‘we’ are trying to reach the unsaved with but ‘we’ also have to understand we live in a pluralistic society. Its better to have someone who understands and is open to listen, than someone who refuses to hear your side. IMO, Bush and Clinton are exactly the same…just different parties. Obama comes off as authentic, sincere, hopeful and like everyone else who hears him says…inspirational. “They’re all crooks” is the cynical mindset that the last 20 years has left us with. Its like an abusive relationship. You stop thinking that you can have something better. Well I believe we can have better. I believe we can BE better. Obama gives me that hope…when no one else does.

I think Clinton’s comments last weekend sadly did what it was designed to do…mainly hurt Obama. I can’t blame Charlie Rangel…he is a Rep. from New York so he and Hillary are in the same congressional delegation (NY) so you would expect him to support her. I am still supporting Obama hard but I think the Clinton camp’s jabs were effective. Plus, the Latino vote is likely to push her over the edge. O appeals to highly educated Blacks and Whites. This is not the grassroots in the party who tend to prefer Clinton.

I think what many people dont realize is that the first CHANGE that Obama is talking about is changing the mindset of this country. To even look at him as a viable candidate requires that we throw off the ties that have had a stranglehold on the country for decades. If you cant FIRST fathom that something is possible, you wont be able to hear what the plan is. Obama is (very wisely) addressing the HEALING that this country must first undergo. That is the first change. His saying YES WE CAN, is speaking to millions of people who have grown discouraged about the direction of this country, who have been systematically convinced that it cant get better. I went to a MeetUp yesterday in probably the richest part of San Diego and the meeting was full of (other than blacks) who were excited about Obama. First of all I am adressing the young people who are ready for change.

I a am nearly sixty year old retired school teacher,and don’t be decieved most of you young people are absolutely correct about Hillary and her motives.Look you follow your hearts.

I voted the Clintons twice they have been out of office for 8 years now why would I backtrack…there is no wisdom nor any God in that.

When people don’t know the word of God and his order and how he operates thay will and can cook up any kind od scheme and decieved people will fall for it.Any door that God closes no man can open.

She was only on the Tyra show to gain support her,get votes only motive she could care less about those women, she wants to WIN for the sake of winning and once she gets in we all will have hell to pay.

This country is not yet ready for a woman to be president,you mean to tell me when the Lord has placed men here to lead he will by pass good qualified men and put her ahead of them. She has a Jezebel spirit and Bill is Ahab.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are not to go back in the white house…even the Lord admonished us not to look back…and to remember Lots wife.

Also there was a man named David who was a king(leader) who committed adultery and the Lord forgave him,but He said you are no longer the one for you have sinned your son will build the temple.Bill and Hillary are one,(you two shall become one,a vote for her is a vote for him).

You young people and women I beg of you please do not be decieved,I have prayed and prayed and I do not have a peace any where in my spirit about Hillary Clinton being the leader of this country.

The Lord mercifully allowed Bill not to be impeached and we forgave them,because it was the black vote that put them in office twice we did more for them than they did for us and Bill lied, lied,lied. Ask your parents it was a mess and they still manipulating.She knew what Bob Johnson was going to say.

You are the young-uns and the change will affect you and the generation after you,the legends have had their time.

You don’t put fresh wine in old wine skins,you all use the wisdom and the good common sense God gave you, you young black folks are not dumb and game knows game.

You all be encourage this is your game and you can do this if you really want to change it will go down in history you did this.

I don’t care who in Hellarys camp does not like what I said …I gave you my vote twice and I am not going back…I fear what may happen to this country and I fear God more.I believe Mr. Obama is smack in th e perfect will of God for his life in running for this office at a time such as this.This is something she and Bill cooked up and that is why she stayed with hima and quickly ran for senator, all to get back in the white house, they have their own personal agenda.

Hellary can cry,lie and do whatever,I am not gullible or easily fooled I am not a silly woman.

I personally can’t stand a manipulator or someone who is condesecending no reasonably intelligent person.

They use to call Richard Nixon tricky dick, I have not come up for a name for the Clintons,I am so tired of them.I held them up twice and I through with them.

I have a grandsons future I have to think of.

By the way I don’t believe in some things, but I have not asked Obama tio be my Pastor.

There are some so call Christians who raise hell about one issue then sin in other ways not tithing is just as much of sinning as homosxuality in face God callss that God robbing. I have the Holy spirit and I know how to pray and I have never led my sons wrong when I listen to my spirit and I have no peace about the Clintons returning to the white house. None at all,oh and by the way I also know some strong men of God who are teaching their people whe are endorsing one candidate and if they had heard from God that she was the one they would not be putting their money in anothers campaign. You all better be careful following the Clinton rhetoric.

Did you make a comment to Nita under “The Lord(‘s Secretary)? My post didn’t call anyone a name. I addressed it @ Nita because of her prayer asking God to heal her hurting people and @ The Lord(‘s Secretary) for the comment that was made to Nita. My post is a scripture that relates to both of these messages. It was sent to encourage both of these bloggers that God is a healer of everything and that it “is” up to His people to pray and believe for it. Everything we need is in the word of God. I’ve been told not to pray the problem but pray the promises which are in God’s word. I apologize if I offended you because that was not and is not my intention.

First off TYRA IS NOT FRIENDS WITH PARIS HILTON! Are you crazy? Tyra has completely different morals then Ms Hilton and believes in being a role model and setting a good example, something which Paris does not do or want to be a part of.

Listen how can a man who takes as much money from interest groups as Obama really be for change. When MLK began his quest he was 26 years old. I don’t know why so many people want to tell Barak to wait. Why wait, the poker is hot so strike now. When my daughter was a baby and we were buying her dolls there was an experiment out where a white doll and a black doll were presented to young black children and they would pick one. The majority of children piocked the white doll. You know what? That is what we are doing now in this election. We have been taught self hate for so long that we will still be happy to take the crumbs of massas table. Chicago went through this same thing when Harold Washington ran for mayor, and you know what, he was one of the best mayors the city of Chicago ever had and he was a great uniter. My Brothers and Sisters, don’t hate yourselves but do for yourselves. Have faith in the brother. Everyone sits back and talks about how the Clintons helped black folks when they oh sorry when bill was in office. Do you mean the record number of blacks being incarserated under his watch or maybe the record number of drugs to hit the streets during his administration. Or maybe welfare reform. Yes we need to get our folks off welfare, but some people who really needed it were hurt under the reforms. Yes it can be a waste of money, but the biggest waste of money is war. It also wastes life. Obama has a wife and two young children. Wouldn’t we like to really see familky values in the white house instead of just bs talk. Our old so called black leaders are jealous of Barrak. Don’t fall into their jealousy. When reading programs are initiated or someone must go to see first hand the starving in Africa the first lady is usually sent. Don’t you think it would be a beautiful thing to see a sister on the nationalo news doing these things? If Hillary has political debt don’t you think Bill has some too. There is going to be a double line outside the white house waiting for political payback. Obama may lack experience and to me that is good because he owes fewer favors to be returned.
