I resent that. Because I love learning about different cultures, and for this man who claims to be a pastor to degrade that tells me he degrades all young people, which is ignorant, because the statistics are saying it is educated black people who support Barack Obama, which would include MANY BLACK AMERICANS in HIS AGE GROUP. This is the stupidest pastor I have ever seen talk.

Another thing: The church I attended in Mmephis did NOT pay my way in college. Why doesn’t he address the fact that many churches love to take money from the offerings and tithes for his houses and cars, and *****? I thought it was for God’s people in that CHURCH?

Okay you guys I’m in utter chock that a pastor can be so colored by his own vanity. I live in europe and shouldn’t give a damn about who wins, but for the sake of God stop hating on each other. This is the reason white people are in control, they use their energy on bettering their lives and not on *****ing on their own ppl.

Damn!!!! Most of you that have saw this clip will have to forgive Mr.Manning, he is one that is still living in a slave mentality. The thing that trips me out is he has the audacity to call himself a man of God. This hypocrisy is what turns so many away from the church and with all that “education” he cannot hold an objective point of view without tearing a person down. The only thing I will agree with is questioning Rev. Al and Jesse on what have they really done for the community but the point is lost in such vicious dialog that most will over look it. The sad part is that the crabs in a bucket mentality is alive and well, and until we as blacks get to a point of moving forward together this spinning wheels in the sand is all anyone will see us as.

I understand his message, he just has poor communication skills because of his oversized ego. He’s a prime example of why there is such a vast chasm between the generations in black America. This fake hypocrite, cannot outright say who he is supporting so he implies who he’s supporting. The reason why is that the churches are tax exempt organizations, so he don’t have to pay taxes on his salary and all that money he collects, but if he steps into the political arena he could jeopardize that status: Depending upon the nature of its exemption, a tax-exempt organization may jeopardize its tax-exempt status if it engages in certain activities. For example, section 501(c)(3) charitable organizations may not intervene in political campaigns or conduct substantial lobbying activities. See Types of Tax-Exempt Organizations or Publication 557 for more information. You as a taxpayer can report him to the irs fraud dept by going to their website at irs.gov and entering keyword fraud reporting and I bet he shuts his ***** up then when he feels he has to pay taxes like the rest of us on that benz.

I never understand why Black people can never support Black leadership.. Everything for the last few years have been Ol’ and I say Ol’ to let you get a glimpse of their way of thinking. Ol’ the young black youth in America don’t know nothing. We a bunch of *****s , women degrading, debt piling, hip-hop loving black college students. They want us to understand a time frame that we were not apart of. Granted we are the living breathing fruits of their battles with slavery and injustice towards black communities. But these same black communities spent all their time fighting that our generation grew up without mothers and fathers and without family value.To substitute that we turned to television and music. If we are no good, spoiled children then we are only a reflection of our parents and a product of our environment. If you want to save a generation try reaching out..The Ol’ methods of trying beat some knowledge into our heads is not working. Talk about creating black enrichment rallies , follow the successful steps Senator Obama is making then use that to get your message across. Don’t stand or sit behind a podium with rainbow colored suits and your Sunday best calling us good for nothings.Remember we will be the one in charge in the near future if you keep us from the truth, then all the work your generation has worked for will be lost in a memory.

Do not lose focus on what this presential race is about. It is about Barack Obama vs other candidates, but not Barack Obama vs Martin Luther King or any other Black leader. Today racism is more subtile and requires a different strategy to erase it. Barack Obama is a good opportunity for America to set a new tone. The Dream should stay alive…….
