Is Empire’s Jussie Smollett Dating This Online Personality?

With Empire hitting record numbers every week, fans are getting more curious about the new faces they’re suddenly following so closely every Wednesday night. While we all know what’s going on in Jamal’s love life (or do we?) many have been wondering if breakout star Jussie Smollett has a special lady — or fella — in his life off-camera.

Well, an anonymous source tipped us off that Jussie has actually been dating actor and YouTube personality Dustin Ross for quite some time. The two apparently first met while shooting an indie flick called “The Skinny,” created by the same people who made LOGO TV’s series “Noah’s Arc.” Jussie and Dustin played boyfriends on-screen, and it appears that sparks flew from there, leading to an on-again, off-again relationship that has reportedly gone on for the past three years.

Seems like they are back in an “on” phase, as our tipster claims to have spotted the two hugged up and smoking on Feb. 11 while out in New York. They say it seems like the two were attempting to keep things on the low, but the chemistry was obvious — much more than former co-stars and good friends. Could these two be an item?
