The reason I’m interested in that particular comment is because I have A LOT of Indian friends and while they do have some divisive theories and practices (especially regarding religion), I can’t say I’ve seen the sort of racism you’re talking about among them.

I think that’s what a lot of people are referring to.
She earned most of the money thru her deals with American Express, L’Oreal and Samsung in 2007.
I haven’t heard of her signing new deals in 2008 and 2009. So this may be why she’s not appearing in the 2008 and 2009 list. Those include Madonna (who is far beyond everyone else), Barbra Streisand, Celin Dion and Miley Cyrus.

Chritie Secrets you don’t understand!LOL In order for an album to be considered a double album it has to be over 110 or 120 minutes something like that. Beyonce has a double disc by choice. That’s the way she wanted it packaged, but she does not have a double album. Just google what constitutes a double album and you will have your answers.

i just look at billboard.com and the triangle means 1 million sold plus the 2 next to it mean an additional million so I am Sasha has a “2″ next to the triangle so that means that she has sold more than 3 million copies in the states alone. You’re cool. i use to get very upset with people trying to defend Bey but it no use. I have my own kids to worry about. Also we can argee to not agree. I love Bey and don’t really care for Akeys she is ok to me and her last album i couldn’t tell if she was crying or singing but she can write and play the piano but dancing “NO”. lol. but that my opinion. ms. bada is cool too but not a ballard singer.

You’re absolutely right. In the world of pop, it’s all about stage presence. If you can bring it, then you’ve got it. I like Rihanna. I have her CD and all, but I just don’t think she puts her heart and soul into her performances like some of the other artists. Having a hit song isn’t enough. If you go on tour, you have to impress your audience. You have to work that stage.
