Broke Singer Says He’s Battling Stress-Related Illness As He Gets Finances In Order

Slim from 112 has finally responded to our reports on his wayward finances.

Last month, we exclusively reported a judge revoked the “Peaches and Cream” crooner’s bankruptcy filing, for only paying some $1,500 of more than $6,000 of his bankruptcy plan payments, according to court documents.

The bankruptcy news came as a rep from RCO Legal told Bossip it would be handling the auction of Slim’s Stockbridge, Ga. $300,000 townhome in a sheriff’s sale next month.

Slim’s spokesman, Domenick Nati, says it was Slim’s idea to back out of the bankruptcy as he battles a stress-related condition. Nati stressed that Slim’s townhouse isn’t on the auction block.

“Slim is no longer considering filing chapter 13 bankruptcy to restructure his assets,” Nati said in a statement to Bossip. “He is in the process of handling all his financial issues in full within a month and all of his properties are well taken care of. Slim has also come to grips with the stress condition he suffered last summer. His financials are intact but he does ask for prayers for his health.”
