The System Works For Busta

Busta Rhymes, aka Trevor Smith pleaded guilty yesterday to assault charges, driving while intoxicated, and driving with a suspended license got off very lightly (3 year probation, $1,250 in fines, 10 days of community service, and DUI school). Here is what Busta had to say about the system:
“I believe in the system. It hasn’t failed me personally yet. I’m just glad that all this stuff is finally behind me. I can get back to doing what I do best, making great music and great films and being a people person. I’m very grateful to the judge. I’m very grateful to the system.”
Yeah we bet. Everyone would believe and be grateful to the system if they got off that easily.

He got off too easily. DWI people usually get off too easily, even if they kill someone. They still aren’t making an example of these so-called celebrities.

Since he plead guilty, he’s definitely going to have to pay up in a civil lawsuit for the *****ault.
