More and more reasons of why the suspect couple’s split keep pouring in…now they are saying that Eddie got crazy towards the wedding:
Tracey Edmonds broke up with Eddie Murphy right before they were about to make their Bora Bora wedding legal because Murphy became bossy and physically intimidating, and insisted his mother accompany them on their honeymoon. “That was kind of the last straw,” said a friend of the beautiful bride. “She was happy to sign a prenup — she has her own money. She was very accommodating. But then it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Eddie became very controlling and they got into a huge fight. He started screaming at her and grabbed her. She was scared.” The friend added, “She was even willing to change her name to Tracey Murphy, and all the wedding invites and place cards had her labeled as such.”
They can keep the reasons coming, but we all know the truth. Eddie and Johnny just need to tie the knot and get it over with.

And actually they lost me when they said that she has her own money and wouldn’t mind signing a prenup. Is Babyface paying alimony or did he give her a lump some instead? If he is paying alimony then marrying Eddie would have cut that off. Eddies prenup would have had to been paying her at least what Babyface gives her in the event of a divorce.

How do you know if/when a prenup was signed? Babyface’s money is Tracy’s money. Eddie’s money is Eddie’s money in the event of a divorce with a prenup. You need to rephrase because your argument makes no sense.

I stumbled upon this BS over the weekend and felt the need to set some of you straight. When you sign a pre nup, you just don’t walk away with nothing. I guess that is the common misconception on this board. You negotiate terms of the separation. The plan was for them to get married. Her settlement from Kenny had nothing to do with her decision to marry nor the ending of the relationship with Eddie.

Tom Cruise’s pre-nup stipulates that Katie Holmes will get 3 millions dollars for every year they have been married in any event that they divorce…so if they are married for 5 years she gets fifteen millions dollars…not bad for a mediocre actress….

Why are so many people protective of Eddie’s money? Both have them have been in the game long enough to know that a pre-nup is the status quo when you are dealing with Eddie-level money. I highly doubt a pre-nup on the day before the wedding was the deal breaker.
