Naima has been showing up in more international fashion mags and so have a bunch of these contestants who didn’t even win ANTM. There is fashion beyond the borders of the United States, people.

You guys who say that you never see or hear from the former models must not have picked up a mgazine in like years…they are all on the runways…even the models that didn’t win…ya ya got a couple of commercials…Danielle modeled for ecko and a couple of other people but these girls def get jobs…pick up a vogue magazine.

I think eva got status but not as a model. She got it for being on Young and the Restless, being with Lance, and some other little things along the way. Tocarra got status. I mean she was in Black Vogue and on rip the runway.

I think Aminat should’ve won. All I know is that TOCARRA didn’t even win Top Model and she’s blowing e’rybody out the water still, her 15 minutes of fame got extendid by 90 minutes! As far as the other ones, I know that Danielle is doing catalog stuff (I get at least 2 in the mail that she’s in), and Naima’s doing acne infomercials on late-night tv

Tyra is using this show to open doors for women of color, give them opportunities & exposure that they most likely wouldn’t of gotten otherwise, teach & inform them and the viewers…

That’s what GOOD people do when they get to the top… Help others who are like them achieve their dreams & aspirations…

i’m glad teyona won. i liked her. as far as danielle… she was my all time favorite from ANTM. she still models and is successful since the shows’ run.

For the record:

Tyra Banks did not come up with the idea for ANTM. The idea for the show originally came from a model booker – not Tyra (I knew the model booker, but do not have permission from her to divulge her name so I will not). Tyra then became involved with the show as “the host”, helped to sell it to the network, and also came up with ideas for the show.

Tyra now claims total credit for coming up with the idea for the show – and she did NOT come up with the original idea.

This was also aired on E! True Hollywood Story of ANTM years ago when the show was in the third or fourth cycle.

Congrats to Teyona….my only complaint is her thin anorexic ponytail that they “fixed” for winner photo shoot; what no stand by hair on set.

Good for Teyona because she deserved to win. She rocked from day one. She looks stunning in that picture.

A lot of the ANTM girls are working. They do a segment every weeks showing you where they are. One of my favorites, Elyse is a big model in Japan. They show Nena last night. She looked FIERCE!

I love Teyona and I liked the big-eyed girl too. They will both get jobs.

What status does Eva have exactly beside showing that boyish body of hers? Its def for not being a model. Dani got an extended contract with CG, contract with Target and METROSTYLE amongst others so she’s doing great. Now is it me or is there a black winner every 3rd cycle of Top Model.

teyona looked like an alien, amina is beautiful, but it didnt show in the pictures….my fav was allison, i like that lemur, innocent,deer caught in headlights kind of look…im usually all 4 ebony beauty but my eye like what it likes.

Aminat had the best walk and looked the best when her hair was straight but took horrible pictures

I won’t miss Paulina. Maybe they should bring back previous girls for guests spots, there are 12 winners, surely can they can bring a few back throughout the season. And it would be cheaper than giving a contract to some dinosaur model who thinks they are better than the contestants.

Preach! I was telling my co-worker the same thing. These girls get exposure like crazy after ANTM ends. Not to mention, one chick from a previous cycle was the first one booted on the show, but one of the first signed after the show!
