I really didnt like the show because of the way it depicted black women, it was like nothing ever worked out for them, relationships, marriage, jobs and so forth.

I would go see it. I’m a guy and I love the show, especially “Toni Childs” and Lynn. Now, if I can find a chick with both of their personalities, I might have to jump off the bridge…I mean over the broom.

Perhaps a straight-to-DVD, 1-2 hour long episode to tie up the loose ends and end the show properly would work, a full length feature length film… Not so much. Girlfriends was a good show, but it barely had a TV audience, I can’t see it doing big box office numbers.

YES!!!! If a reputable company puts it out, then old fans would rush to the theatre and new viewers would be attracted to the story line. I would love to see the entire cast together especially Toni Childs, even though Joan’s my fave!

I think it could work, but; only with all of the original cast members intact.

Also, I think that it would be a great reflection of progress if all of the characters have “made it,” and are not all still trying to find themselves.
