Paulina’s Feelings On Getting Fired: “Tyra is America’s Next Top Beyotch”

Paulina recently got the stiletto boot from ANTM and she isn’t mincing any words about her stank relationship with Fivehead Lacefront Banks:
Supermodel Paula Porizkova said she was fired from “America’s Next Top Model” due to what producers called an ego problem. In a new interview for Access Hollywood and “The Billy Bush Show,” Paulina opened up to Billy about her dismissal as a judge from the popular reality series, created and hosted by Tyra Banks. “I must admit I was having a little bit of an issue with Tyra being late for every judging,” she told Billy. “It’s six hours later and I feel like I am being told my time is not as valuable as hers. They pointed out that I should shut up and be grateful for the job and that Tyra is really busy.”
“I think that my little hissy fits about ‘Well, we are all here on time. Why can’t she (Tyra)?’ didn’t go over all that well,” added Paulina, who replaced the previous judge, supermodel Twiggy. When asked if there might have been an issue that she was the only other woman on the judging panel, Paulina said she didn’t think that was the case, especially when it comes to Tyra. “I don’t think that in Tyra’s universe that’s even a consideration. I don’t think she cares,” she said. “I’m not even sure she was aware that I existed way out there in Siberia, much like I am not sure she knew Twiggy existed.”
And while Paulina and Tyra clearly didn’t get along in the professional landscape, did the two have any off-camera conversations? “I wouldn’t know [what kind of person Tyra is] because all I know of her is literally when we are on set talking to each other in front of the cameras,” the supermodel said. “That is the only time she would speak to me.” As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Paulina first revealed the news of their squabble during an appearance on the “Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson earlier this week. “Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles?… Because I am looking for a job,” Paulina told Craig. “I was fired by ‘America’s Next Top Model’ on my birthday.”

I love ANTM…and all I noticed from that show about Paulina is that she was very nasty to the girls without cause…now I don’t put all that ish about Tyra past her, but I’m just wondering if her general stank attitude wasn’t a factor in all of this too.

paulina got a lot of publicity,and the show needs a fresh face, so what i am sure she expected to be let go at some point depending on her contract, its business not personal.people just need to live their own lives and move on.

However, she owns the show and if you want to get your money then you shut-up get yours and when its time to move on then you do it! I watch the show and you can definitely see the tension between Tyra and Paulina. Paulina’s really harsh when it comes to the girls. It kinda seems like she’s trying to be like Janice *****inson was. Like another commentor said though, Tyra’s the boss. I’m sure we’ve all had bosses we’ve wanted to punch in the face.

Pualina says they only spoke during the on-camera moments, and thats fine. I can believe that. But when she adds in that Tyra wouldnt speak to me, it makes it sound like Paulina has continually attempted to become her friend and tyra was disinterested.
Paulina was uneventful and will be soon forgotten. I only watched about 2 episodes of this season, and the last 30mins of the finale, but Paulina was never interesting in the last cycle either.
I liked Twiggy- she was sweet, and was way ahead of the supermodel time, and shes still working.
Janice was fired (deservingly so) for being racist. She did not want any black or other minorities to get far, and so she was asked to leave. Tyra doesnt let racist people ruin the show. I dont see how Janice can be compared to any guest judge on the show.

Tyra is a mess. I remember hearing about Mr. Jay having issues with her too. They weren’t sure if he was going to come back to the show or not, a few seasons ago. But, I guess, he chose keeping a job over going against Ms. Banks.
Sadly, I think Tyra’s issues have to do with being very insecure and being a huge opportunist. She tries to act like she’s done it all and that she’s above everything, but being a little humble really goes a long way, no matter how much fame and fortune you’ve racked up over the years.
She’ll learn her lesson one day. And as they say, it’s mighty lonely at the top. And know that the people that you stepped on to get up there will be the same ones that you’ll end up needing on your way back down.

Paulina was one of my FAVORITE models back in the day (1980’s). I believe what she says… Tyra seems pretty fake.
On Tyra’s talk show she plays all nice, bubbly, approachable, etc. I was in the audience of one of her tapings (when it filmed in Los Angeles)and if the camera was not rolling, Tyra would not say A SINGLE WORD TO THE AUDIENCE – we did not exist…. zero interatction with the audience. So I’m sure she threw ice at Paulina as well.
Its hard for me to believe she was 6 hours late for a judging I think their jived well with each other. Paulina wanted to be like Janice but Janice did it in a different way. I didnt like Paulina from teh beginning but then I am getting tired of the show especially since the girls are preselected in a private interview not like what we see on TV. Again reality (rolling eyes) is fake.
I watch the show and Paulina WAS rude with some of her comments to the girls, especially to the girl who supposively looked way old for her age. Theres a nicer way to say things, not every one’s looks are perfect, so I can understand Tyra firing her for that reason.

Some things I wanna address that was said in this post:
1. Paulina sounds very salty. Some of what she’s sayin’ sounds like exaggeration and a bit of truth. However she’s comin’ off bitter. Do the cl*****y thing my dear and shut up.
2. I love Tyra personally so if she is a *****…*shrug* whatever that’s gonna crush my world. I don’t know the woman personally. We’re human she’s probably a ***** at times or to certain people…Paulina in this case. I can’t speak on it either way cause I don’t know how she is when the cameras are off.
3. ANTM is an extremely popular show. Just because its ran its course for you, doesn’t mean its ran its course for the millions of ANTM stans that watch. Go to the CWTV website and see the crazy fans on there, makin’ post after post about the finale the other night.

For the record:
Tyra Banks did not come up with the idea for ANTM. The idea for the show originally came from a model booker – not Tyra (I knew the model booker, but do not have permission from her to divulge her name so I will not). Tyra then became involved with the show as “the host”, helped to sell it to the network, and also came up with ideas for the show.
Tyra now claims total credit for coming up with the idea for the show – and she did NOT come up with the original idea.
This was also aired on E! True Hollywood Story of ANTM years ago when the show was in the third or fourth cycle.
