Not for one moment do I believe AK came between Mash (Mashonda) and Swizz. They have been living separate lives for awhile. What power did AK have over Swizz..please…that man is not in love with his wife anymore. I am sure there was some effort to resolve the marriage but it did not work.

Instead of staying home doing nothing she should have been making moves trying to build a career in the music industry..get behind the boards and learn something in the studios…I mean what has she done?

Sorry Mashonda, it didn’t work out. As a married woman, I have felt your pain. I don’t believe in making a man stay that don’t wanna be home. If it weren’t Alicia, it would have been someone else. I look at things from both sides. If my husband wasn’t meeting my needs physically, emotionally, or sexually would I just stay and be miserable? The reality is this, if say Boris Kodjoe had come along during her marriage to Swizz, would she have remained faithful or would she have strayed? Just because your needs are being met in the relationship doesn’t mean that you are meeting the other person’s needs. People change, people grow, and what you want out of life in your 20′s may not be what you want in your 30′s and 40′s. Mashonda is a pretty and talented young lady. She has plenty of time to move on and find something bigger and better. Halle Berry did, and so have many women famous and not. Best of luck to everyone involved. This interview had nothing to do with the alleged affair. It was about MaShonda growing up in Harlem and her planned charitable work there.

For real though, I’d like to know how these women can afford to have all of these philanthropic endeavors with no money. MaShonda mentioned photography for kids in the ‘hood. That;s been done already here and abroad. To have a real impact, I suggest that celebs partner with established organizations rather than create something new and reinvent the wheel so to speak.

Sorry, but from what’s being put out there (and that’s all ANY of us have to go on), Gonzo cheated on his wife, with Alicia Keys. If he fell out of love with her, fine..that happens. At that point, be a man. Grow a pair, say “Look, I’m sorry but I just don’t love you anymore, I want a divorce, this marriage is over”, pack your bags and LEAVE. Once the divorce papers are filed (it only takes maybe 2 or 3 days to file at most) THEN start making moves if that’s what you want to do. At this point, both you and your spouse know the marriage is over. There’s no games, no cheating, no deception, nothing. This is what stand up people do. No one will demonize a person in a relationship that just fell apart. That happens. It’s the way you handle it that counts.

Swizz lacked the testicular fortitude to just say how he felt, so he cheated. Alicia knew damn well that man was married so she’s a lil Jezebel for that as well. Cheating is one of the worst things you can do to a person who is emotionally invested in you. You destroy their trust, you damage their self image, their self worth and disrespect them. While Swizz is definitely the top offender here, Alicia Keys is no better. Any woman worth their salt would say “file those papers, then get at me.” But obviously, this is a woman not worth her salt.

Everybody has that one person that could make them break down. When I was an idealistic 17 years old, I said that my boyfriend “would never cheat on me.” My boss at the time said to me “show me a man that doesn’t cheat, and I’ll show you his girlfriend.” Sure enough he was cheating, and so have the others that I dated after him. I am married and have been the victim of adultery, and have also been the perpetrator. We are still together because we still care for each other and have 2 kids. I don’t plan to ever cheat again, and neither does he,(so he says) but forever is a long long time, and who knows. I live my life day to day, I work full time and try to do a good job raising my kids. Things happen, people make mistakes, it doesn’t end your life, you keep going and you learn from it. Mistakes should make you a better, and wiser person if you learn from them.
