David Hauslaib is the blog owner, and whether he employs so called Black people or not – this is really a disgrace.

Even if Maya is supporting Hiliary, the last time I checked we all are free to support whoever we want. I’m not a regular reader of this blog because I refuse to be hood winked and bamboozled by White people using a “black front” to promote whatever cause, and play games. I followed a link from another real black blog, and could not even believe Black people are going for this crap.

I could side with those of you who believe white people will never pick a Black man to enter the White House. At the same time, I feel in my heart with the same argument, I shouldn’t be so quick to trust a white lady, or white man! I would rather vote my heart and stand behind the black man, because white people, in sum cannot be trusted.

what if she wants clinton. It is a middle finger to this great struggle to see our dream come alive. In my gut I really don’t think this will happen again. The money has been spent, the endorsements made, etc. This is the time, right now! This is a bona fide black president. What shame to reject him , yet continue to uphold a man dubbed the first black president who is a perjuror, HE WAS IMPEACHED, disbarred, disgraced,

charged with rape. Bottom line is billy should be serving time. Any other man would be! Obama has a beautiful family. A gorgeous wife; no one can say he has a white or light skinned “black” wife.

He is the perfect image for the head of this country. Now, his potrait can be put up where we always had the pictures of Dr. King and JFK and Jackie. ( Somebody remember those!) Some well respected people have put their personal relationships and careers on the line to endorse Obama. If he doesn’t go into the White House, do you think any other black candidate will ever get this chance, again? Especially, if he loses because of the lack of the black vote. Others will think: If the blacks don’t care, why should we go through this again? There are families at odds with each other over Obama. White people taking up for a black man so much so as to stop speaking to each other. Who would have Thunk it!!

This is BIG. November can’t come fast enough. Then, January 2009! A day for the record and history books. First the nomination. The question for Ms. Angelou is: When will you rise?

When will you let the caged bird sing? The older black people are a real disappointment to that long hard struggle. What happens to a dream deferred? It’s about TIMING as much as choice!

I can think of more “elders” ya’ll need to give a “Ho sit down” to. Frankly piss on them. An elder I do respect once told me that children are left not lost. All these people who ride acheivements of old and don’t get involved with what’s now need to sit down and stop mucking up the works. Props to people like Cornell West who actually seem to use logic and not just bash the young for not being like the old. I am how I am because of what I was taught…so I have to draw the same conclusion about about all the “left black youth” out here. Anyone can get it.

We can’t be serious!!!! I don’t care is you say, “Ho Sit Down” to your mother, she was supposed to shut that down!!! This is unacceptable, Maya Angelou is an icon and if we do not draw the line at insulting and disrespecting 79 yr old women then where will we stop? Additionally, I wish we would comment on Obama’s platform more than his ethnicity that way when he wins we’ll have an idea of what he’s supposed to be doing. This article needs to be amended, minus all derogatory comments! I so desperately wish we were better!
