A certain gossip site is alleging that Empire’s producer, 55-year-old Lee Daniels, who is openly gay, is trying to smash straight 21-year-old Bryshere Gray to smithereens, who plays Hakeem on the series.

And what are the folks over at the janky site basing this claim off of? Well, they suggest Daniels’ “liking” of Gray’s Instagram photos tells the tale.

“It’s one thing to be LIKING Hakeem’s pictures regularly. But when you start LIKING his pics LATE NIGHT – in between pics of Tyson Beckford NEKKID . . . that’s just very CREEPY. Remember Lee is also Hakeem’s BOSS,” the website writes.

But RumorFix is going to have to go ahead and debunk this rumor right away. Considering the fact Lee has maintained a very serious and steady relationship with his stylist boyfriend of five years, Jahil Fisher. He recently gushed about his longtime love during an interview with Out Magazine. Explaining what originally made the Hollywood producer fall in love with Jahil, Daniels explains, “I heard his voice before I saw him, and that’s what attracted me first — the laughter. Then I was blown away by his sense of humor. He’s pure and in the moment, and he doesn’t have a poker face.”

Lee has been in a long term relationship with his boyfriend for years and Bryshere isn’t gay. But if Lee did hit, could you really blame him??
