Having said that, I do not support Vick’s federal conviction for dog fighting. I’m not stating he wasn’t wrong, but I do believe it should have been a misdemeanor, or felony, resulting in probation, fine, and animal cruelty counseling. That’s it.
And yeah, I think Al Davis is one of the few people with the ***** to offer Vick a contract.

The boy will be charged with theft and cruelty to animals. The animal survived the ordeal and was being examined by a veterinarian.
Pittsburgh Public School officials on Tuesday were not immediately able to say what kind of snake it was.

Joseph H. Hagerman III, the man accused of beheading his 5-year-old son, was found not guilty by reason of insanity on first-degree murder and malicious wounding charges today in a Virginia Beach court.
Hagerman must return to Central State Hospital for 60 days before his next court appearance scheduled for July 22. He was arrested Feb. 10, minutes after police responded to his home on Sugar Creek Drive and found his wife wounded and their son dead. She was cut while trying to stop the attack, police said.
In jailhouse interviews, Hagerman admitted decapitating his son and explained that he committed the act to save his son from the “anti-Christ.”
He has a history of mental illness, and friends said new medication for his schizophrenia may have triggered the attack.
So now taxpayers have to pay for him for the rest of his life. Justice System at its finest.

For me until I started watching the animal planet I never thought about the feelings and minds of animals. Now if I am going down the road and a squirrel or any animal runs out in front of me I try to avoid it if I can. I think sometimes we think animals are just that. i really dont feel like what he did was cool i got a dog and if anyone did my dog like he did them poor dogs i would killem dead rather he be black or whatever color oh and i think peta is crazy as hell too i just feel god made dogs and other animals and we do rule over animals but that dont give no man no right to play god rather it be with a dog or a man those dogs suffered and so what if his cousin did it his dumb azz let him do it the man aint got *****ody to blame but hisself fool you didnt have to fight dogs no more you had the ultimate hussle boy boo it you will be cruel to a dog like those dogs were mistreaded i seen that animal planet special the man needed his azz beat for that what kind of man will allow torture for any animal dogs have feeling and they feel pain so kill all that racist noise thats always it right always the white man did something to the black man come the hell on black folks stop using that sorry azz excuse for out bad behavior we know better and he knew better and im pretty sure that god may have forgivin him but he still will be judged by god for what he did just like we all will be

The other day Mark Kriegel did an article on Vick going on Oprah. In the article he brought up the crime / punishment Vick was handed and compared it to a NFL player by the name of Leonard Little. Leonard not only killed a woman (mother and wife) while driving intoxicated, but served 90 DAYS in jail, 4 yrs probation, and 1k hours of community service all WITHOUT the public scrutiny, WITHOUT MADD putting him as a poster boy for their cause and WITHOUT leaving the leauge. In fact, check him out and see how “bad” he has had it. So miss me on the whole “he is so wrong, I can’t believe he did that, he shouldn’t be able to play” high and mighty craziness that the media / PETA / anyone who has an inkling of thought that they are entitled to be this man’s judge / jury. He is a man. He made mistakes. He is human. He is gonna make more. So is everyone else, and if you think “yeah, but not me / like that” I say two things: no sin is greater than the other and just keep living.
