Having said that, I do not support Vick’s federal conviction for dog fighting. I’m not stating he wasn’t wrong, but I do believe it should have been a misdemeanor, or felony, resulting in probation, fine, and animal cruelty counseling. That’s it.

And yeah, I think Al Davis is one of the few people with the balls to offer Vick a contract.

Joseph H. Hagerman III, the man accused of beheading his 5-year-old son, was found not guilty by reason of insanity on first-degree murder and malicious wounding charges today in a Virginia Beach court.

Hagerman must return to Central State Hospital for 60 days before his next court appearance scheduled for July 22. He was arrested Feb. 10, minutes after police responded to his home on Sugar Creek Drive and found his wife wounded and their son dead. She was cut while trying to stop the attack, police said.

In jailhouse interviews, Hagerman admitted decapitating his son and explained that he committed the act to save his son from the “anti-Christ.”

He has a history of mental illness, and friends said new medication for his schizophrenia may have triggered the attack.

So now taxpayers have to pay for him for the rest of his life. Justice System at its finest.

Leonard not only killed a woman (mother and wife) while driving intoxicated, but served 90 DAYS in jail, 4 yrs probation, and 1k hours of community service all WITHOUT the public scrutiny, WITHOUT MADD putting him as a poster boy for their cause and WITHOUT leaving the leauge. In fact, check him out and see how “bad” he has had it. So miss me on the whole “he is so wrong, I can’t believe he did that, he shouldn’t be able to play” high and mighty craziness that the media / PETA / anyone who has an inkling of thought that they are entitled to be this man’s judge / jury. He is a man. He made mistakes. He is human. He is gonna make more. So is everyone else, and if you think “yeah, but not me / like that” I say two things: no sin is greater than the other and just keep living.
