Jamie Foxx will have a reality show on MTV called “From G’s To Gents”:
“From G’s to Gents” will take 15 young “G’s” and polish them up. Taking lessons in everything from Style and Grace, Etiquette, Chivalry, and Business Skills, the men will LEARN that with the right tools every G has the ability to be a true Gentleman – and a real shot at finding success.
Sounds like a Flavor of Love Charm School for men, but the real issue here is what’s really good with Jamie these days. He looks like he’s got the sauce for real.

Jamie Fox’s career is officially OVER! Why in the hell would he be hosting a Charm School 2? Is he broke? Can he not get any jobs? What the hell!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the guys that are set to be on the show is Buddah, Tango, Chance, Wolf, Trendz, Mr. Boston, and Mr. Wise. I just dont understand why would Jamie destroy his career by doing a low budget reality show such as Charm School.

With all of that being said, I like the concept and it’ll probably be a really good show…
Jamie Foxx is an acadamy award winning actor with box office success under his belt. Why doesn’t he just act?! Why does he have to have an album, now a reality show. Whats next, a fashion line? I’m all for keeping your irons in the fire, but sometimes its good to find that one thing you’re good at (in his case being an actor/comedian) and focus on that.
I thought this was suppose to be Charm School 2? And the gents are suppose to have I Love NY rejects on it? I heard it was suppose to have Chance and ninja turtle lookin dude that won the first season?

Jamie looks like he’s still channeling Ray Charles, drug habit and all. Combine that with the “Oscar Curse”, its pretty much a wrap for this guy.

Y’all givin that Oscar too much credit. All that means is that you gotta step it up even more after you win to show it wasn’t a fluke. Since he has not done that he now gets to star in “when the checks stop coming in”.

c, that’s the problem with oscar winners – BEFORE actors win, they try and really try to get in the best movies and do the best job – but ONCE that golden statue is attained, all hopes stops. they stop looking for good scripts, directors stop casting, they go and get a 70% tca peel [which is too harsh for black skin tones], they stop giving a damn and do fooliwang like this

Jamie Foxxe’s Hollywood career is basically over
He never was a box office star,but the major reason for his downfall is that the major studios and directors wont work with him due to his ego and the way he fucked up the movie Miami Vice
While filming Miami Vice Foxx cause all kinds of problems and when a shooting occurred on the set out of the country, Foxx left and refused to leave the US,although more security was brought in and the rest of the cast agreed to stay.
That caused all kinds of problems for the studio.Micheal Mann was under pressure to have Miami Vice ready to be released in the summer and had to rewrite the script in the middle of filming because of Jamie.
Everyone wanted to fire Jamie,but they had already spent over 100 million dollars on the film and would have had to spend more to re shoot all of Foxxes scenes with another actor as well as all the time it would have taken to find another actor and have that actor learn and be ready take Foxxes role
Jamie also caused trouble for the film because he agreed to play the part for 7 million.Collin Ferrel got 10 million to play Sonny and Foxx refused to continue until he got 10 million like Ferrel
Foxx was also just a major asshole during the filming and his ego got out of control after the Oscar win
He was already committed to The Kingdom while all that was going on which is why he got that role,but when word got out all the trouble he caused for Miami Vice( a 160 million dollar movie),most filmmakers now refuse to work with him
The Kingdom also did well below box office expectations,that also didn’t help his career
what i wanna know is who’s gonna teach him?

Foxx is working on a movie called “The Soloist” in which he plays a bum type character. I’d look “saucy” for a little while for millions of dollars a movie too and so would you.

I personally think black men (and women) need to explore things other than hip hop wear. I’m NOT saying if you wear Hip Hop gear then you are automatically ignorant. Im saying that if you weigh 135lbs and your clothes (dressy & casual) MUST be XXL, you can’t get a good job (you limit your success).
