He’s cocky!!!

1st biaches. It ain’t black or white, Kobe just acts priviledged, which he is, so it’s normal behavior on his part. It’s just that black people for the most part don’t like arrogant mofo’s. And he snitched on Shak.

All the reasons stated above…

It’s not just black people. Most people don’t like Kobe. He’s an arrogant little turd who needs to be humbled, seriously.

i think most people are just haters. I for one am i a BIG kobe fan and think every one should just stop hating and just let kobe be kobe and forget about the stuff with that white girl. If you really want to know whats up Kobe could have just got with me and he would have never been put in that situation I would have never did him like that.

Despite whatever issues black people, in particular women and broke bammas, people actually don’t have problems with him. For one, his jersey has been the number one (or two) seller the last 5 years. As far as retail dollars goes, he gets it in. …and that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

and most black people take issues with black folks who aren’t urban. Dude grew up in Italy, speaks Italian, scored high on the SAT and chose not to go to Duke. People honestly can’t relate to him… and because he doesn’t attempt to be who we want him to be, we think he’s the problem.

I don’t know if it’s just black people that have a problem with Kobe but me personally, have a problem with Kobe. I’ve never liked Kobe. He’s a cry baby, selfish, arrogant wanna be Michael Jordan. He will never be as great as Jordan. He is a good player, there is no taking that away from him and he has set records but he doesn’t have the class or charisma that Jordan has.

WOW…the hate going on in here is suprising. My ? is this: WHAT IS HE DOING TO YOU? Kobe is living his life and doing what he loves to do. I put him in the same catagory as Will Smith. Two brothers who are doing their thang and people love to hate on them because they’re sucessful or because they don’t open up their life for everybody to see. 1. In order to be the best you have to be little arrogant. Michael Jordan was the biggest trash talker in NBA history.
2. So what he cheated on his wife. That’s between them and god. At least he owned up to it and admitted it was a mistake. Why is it that T.I gets a pass after admitting a mistake he made but not Kobe?
3. Snitching wasn’t cool but he was trying to get out trouble. Rule of thumb: Nobody is a snitch until they get arrested. Besides if Shaq hadn’t cheated on his wife he wouldn’t have anything to tell. But I guess Shaq gets a pass too.
This dude is just living his life. How about we all do the same.

As a big basketball fan I will tell you that Kobe is dirty on the court. He throws as much elbows as anyone, he got suspended for bashing ginobli in the face and ron artest incident in the playoffs showed it again. Whenever someone is playing good d on him he will throw elbows. Thats why a few years back in the playoffs Raja Bell just clotheslined him and started clapping and smiling.

But yet they are loved in the black community and a lot of these little black boys try to be like them. Hip Hop these days is all about arrogant.

2.R.Kelly is a child molester. C-murder murdered somebody. Proof gets killed but only because he was about to kill someone else. T.I did what he did and he’s already forgiven and he hasn’t even served his time yet. Suge Knight has admitted to taking people out but yet the black community loves him. (until he got knocked out:) How many rappers are getting caught with guns and drugs in their possesion and worse and yet it gives them street cred and they get a pass by the black community.

3. Now take someone like a Kobe Bryant or Will Smith. By all accounts they are nice guys who are highly intelligent and make tons of dough doing what they love to do. But for some reason they are not accepted in the black community. Most people hate on them and embrace the ones that are doing dirt. Mabye people hate on them because they try to keep some semblance of a personal life instead of putting everything out there.

As a father of a little girl I am scared for her future because it seems like our values are backwards. I know I got kinda off topic but I think it’s all related.

I agree with you American society is BASSACKWARD!
We reward and glorify people for bad behavior.
We don’t care for and take care of each other.
Our values are screwed up. But this is not limited to Black people.

The kicker for me is I don’t think he’s a team player and that burns me since he plays on my favorite team. He doesn’t seem to care enough about anyone but himself and that’s not a quality a team leader should have. He may win a ring but his attitude keeps him from being great.
