Obama Rides on Hillary: Clinton’s ‘Experience’ Got Us Into This Iraq Mess
Posted by Bossip Staff
Barack Obama took the gloves off on Hillary (who voted for the Iraq War) today in Denver:
“I know it is tempting — after another presidency by a man named George Bush — to simply turn back the clock, and to build a bridge back to the 20th century,” the Illinois senator said in Denver.
“… It’s not enough to say you’ll be ready from Day One — you have to be right from Day One,” he added in unmistakable criticisms of Clinton, who often claims she’s better prepared to govern, and her husband, who pledged during his own presidency to build a bridge to the 21st century.”It is time for new leadership that understands the way to win a debate with John McCain or any Republican who is nominated is not by nominating someone who agreed with him on voting for the war in Iraq or who agreed with him in voting to give George Bush the benefit of the doubt on Iran, who agrees with him in embracing the Bush-Cheney policy of not talking to leaders we don’t like, who actually differed with him by arguing for exceptions for torture before changing positions when the politics of the moment changed,” Obama said.

“Again, it is truly an honor–especially after the controversial post about Ms. Angelou the…er..ex…well, we all know. Well, as the ol folks say..Give me my flowers…you know the rest!”
So he’s blaming Billary for the Iraq War?
@ VictoriousOne…
Do we have to stay on topic and if so, how long? Lol!
**scrolling up to read post**
Go Obama.
Why (does it seem) they only attack each other? Is it that no one else is running?
BTW– I read where Edwards and Guliani are supposeldy dropping out. Is that true?
damn obama’s really *****ing up his chances at vp
Damn.
This should be interesting.
Is it true that Guil;iana and Edwards are dropping out?
* Gulliani
**pulling up NYPost online edition**
It’s the Clinton campaign that is messing up their chances to have him as vp, not the other way around.
Obama 08!
Edwards & Guliani dropped out this morning. Damn shame about Edwards…Out the three Dems., at least he stayed with the issues. Obama and Hillary of late has been playing the political equivalent of the dozens.
Thanks Leroy!
Lol @ the picture–
Obama’s looking at her as if to say—–
“Hoe, sit yo a$$ down!”
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know about this..I’m kinda uneasy about a woman who dyes her eyebrows.
Sorry, I forgot my “t”.
Testing gravie and changing my name back!
Lol!!
Obama sucks! Go Hillary!
Good strategy, Obama – but you’re no different than that phony biotch – since you voted against bringing the troops home TWICE, and you continue to vote to FUND the war.
And of course the patriot act.
And of course the Real Id act.
Sooo, you’re as pro-neo-con as Hitlery. I think you, Hitlery, Michelle, and Bill should get together and just have a big ol orgy in the name of freedumb.
It seems like many people are falling for Obama’s *****, but he’s as phoney as that Hilary trick.
Although im independent,
Obama is speaking major truths and if I choose to vote democrat I will definitely be voting for him.
He has a powerful presence when he speaks and after reading The Audacity of Hope you can see he’s truly a genuine american with aims to bring this country back together. Obama really has a plan and, until he proves other wise, we should be listening intently and supporting everything he is attempting to do.
BTW: kudos to Bossip for distinguishing themselves from other media websites and incorporating politics in their news feed!!!
I don’t care what Obama’s, or any candidate for that matter, domestic vision is, those visions will never be reality until we stop that imperialistic ***** overseas.
goldnprncss:
When has this country ever been ‘together’? I’m just wondering, that’s all…
Who cares? Big deal? We only care how to find these celerbities. Luckily, I found one. That’s Britney Spears. seems she is finding her son a new father on interracialloves . c om. It is a site for singles to mingle. It’s said she’s very popular there.
I hate to say this put I am hoping that if Obama makes it 24 hours after he gets elected. Those damn KKK and those other phony goverment organizations are not going to have it.
maya harlot angelou called in on MSNBC and said “we all americans should remember that Hillary is not an old woman, she’s a woman.”
excuse me, but what the hell does that mean? the old fart couldn’t even give a legit reason for why she supports clinton…….even the white political commentators laughed and gave a look of huh???
Hillary is a liar…if obama doesn’t get the democratic nomination, I’ll still give him an A plus for effort. after all this is a man who many said wouldn’t even get this far let alone be president. but offcourse history has proven that millions of dumb americans vote for the wrong president, and complain about the country being in a bad shape later on down the road. i.e. BUSH. i hope John Mccain whoops that ***** if Obama looses.
fight back O ii aint mad atcha
Ok Bossip, I know (as does the rest of the free world) that you all support Obama. Can you stop this non-stop barrage on Hillary? It’s true that Hillary’s campaign has its issues and problems, but please do not report one side of the story. Obama’s campaign has also made serious mistakes.
If you recall, in June 07, the Obama campaign took a very direct jab at Clinton by referring to her as the Senator from the Punjabi region of India (by alledging that she supports outsourcing). Also, recently, Obama himself took a very direct jab at Clinton by relating her relationship with Wal-mart (where she sat on the board of directors), what he failed to note was that her cause for joining was to champion causes like more diversity in executive leadership and environmental issues.
All in all, neither candidate is perfect…by a long shot. However, I want Bossip to stop pandering to one side of the aisle and represent the diversity of ideals that black people have today. Black people are not of singular mind. Just report the facts, all of them. Allow your readers to make up their own minds.
Obama needs to shut the ***** up wit his black ***** lips
@OMG
Why does everyone talk about those stupid dating sites. You are dumb if you think that a real celebrity would go on that dumb crap. It is easy to get their pictures and make a fake profile. They have agents to set them up with people. Use your head!
This why I dont like Obama
nahnah
Obama Needs to lay off… and this site needs to stop kissing his *****
Edwards dropped out today. So, Obama is trying to get Edwards’ 15% of the vote. To do it he has to give those “I’m going to fight for you” “rah-rah” Edwards-type speeches leading into Super Tuesday. He’ll have a more aggressive edge than you are used to, but he won’t disrespect Hillary. Stay tuned. It’s for a purpose.
Obama is simply a dynamic speaker with 1960’s (failed) ideas. It was pretty easy to oppose the Iraqwar when he was a back burner IL State senator in corrupt IL. Hillary, Obama and Edwards have pretty much the same ideas, but people hate Hillary, Edwards is a snake oil salesman who built his legal career on junk science and Obama has been in senate 3 years and running for preident for 3.5. None had much experience and Obama may be able to catch lightening in a bottle as people love him. The democratic campaign was a pure personality contest with Obama having a shot because he tries not to get dirty like the Clintons (it amazes me that former Clinton d-ckriders are finally catching on to their corruption and the fact they will say anything to win). He gets no criticism from the media and he is the golden child.
^^^Hater. Obama 08. I’m sick of *****es voting for clinton cuz of her gender and her husband, her non-experienced off topic *****. Obama actally brings a glimmer of hope as far as change goes, i know all politicians lie, but Obama’s stand on healthcare and education is what i love him for the most.
So for the few times that i actually do agree with Bossip,
F-ck that Hoe Hillary
“It was pretty easy to oppose the Iraqwar when he was a …IL State senator in …IL”
I agree with “Hater” on that one. It’s one thing to tell a cop what he/she needs to do, but its a whole other ball game to be in that person’s shoes. True, Hillary voted to authorize the invasion of Iraq. As did almost every other Senator at that time. I do find it funny, however, that no one wants to take Obama to task for voting to provide over $300 billion (yes, billion) to fund the very war he supposedly was/is against. Thoughts?
He could say suck my left nut and ya’ll would root him on. Give me a break
Obama,Hilary and McCain are all members of the Council of foreign relations and that is a fact. If anyone knows anything, you will know that this organization is above the law, in fact, they create their own laws and your laws. However, i will act like the rest of the brainwashed popluation and comment on obama becoming president. Obama will defeat hilary in the primaries, it will be a close one, he will beat her by a narrow margin. He will then move on to be president, Edwards may decide to be his vice president, its still unknown if he accepted. But before that, Obama will defeat McCain easily and become the first African-American president in history, after that he will sign a few laws in his first 8 months of office and the economy will slowly turn around.
LOL at people saying he needs to fallback from pouncing on Clinton! didn’t she accuse him of working for a slumlord? along with many other unfounded accusations she tried to troll up , she has been reachin’ and SIGH SIGH SIGH at black people!! Why is it that Obama has more public endorsements from white people than black? Why when theres finally a black canidate that can win do you morons want to have a PRESTINE POLITICIAN?
No, he probably is not always right, made and will make mistakes, made decisions based on his political career, what the hell do u expect?
a clean politician is like finding a responsible crackhead..but based on what I have concluded about Obama , his stance on civil rights, and wanting to create a “transparent” presidency by allowing the American people a chance to view all the bills that are purposed ..I think I’ll roll with him.. maybe he’s idealistic but I’ll be COT DAMNED if I follow the CHAIN GAIN with so many other misinformed Negro’s and cling on to MRS. CLINTONS coatails man I just feel like going Lawrence Fishburn IN “School Daze” on y’all *****es and scream WAKE UUUUUUUUUUUUP!
Yes, Mark?
@ Julie,
I am in that area, so maybe I should check them out sometime this week or next?
BKkid:
haha, true dat! These people are so damn gullible, it’s sickening!
ok this is off subject but who the hell is that white guy called the “DUDE” on the boost mobile ads? when I read the “DUDE” I thought they were talking about Devin – I was like aww ***** how the hell did his as get on a commercial — then I see this weird skinny white guy who raps like he’s about to take a *****-WTF
oh and do people still say “true dat?” seriously folks I just had a flashback!
Yes he needs to become very aggressive in his attack against the “Status quo” to pick up the Edwards vote. At least the northern portion of the Edwards vote.
Obama was the only one not to support the war, from the get go. just because he didn’t support the war doesn’t mean he shouldn’t support the troops. what was obama supposed to do? not vote to send more weapons and supplies after his cohorts stupidly voted for the war? Not vote to increase funding to supply better armor? he was supporting the troops. period. but he never supporteed the war. period.
@ Julie and Nahnah
Did Julie’s moguldom comment get deleted? As Little Richard says, “Somebody help me!”
Damn, it happened again. Something just ain’t right. Nahrah, please enlighten us. NO, maybe not. the “powers” that want us to be pro-Obama may try to silence you. WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Oh *****, her post were deleted!!!
And they deleted mine too!!!
hahaha!!!
Bossip, we will one day find out who you really are, and your *****es will be over!
hahahaha!
So, when people were complaining about being censored on here, I thought they were just exaggerating, but I guess it’s true!!!
You inner-net dictators make me laugh!!!
Bossip, are you black owned? Could black people really be perpetrating black stereotypes while being slapped on the wrists as being ‘edgy’ as you folks are?
hahahahaahaha!!!
They Are censoring NAH NAH !!!!!!!!!!
Hahahaha!

If you guys don’t see that Obama is a genuine leader then please put your gl*****es on and stop smoking blunts! Yes he has flaws, however, who do you want to see in the White house, Billary (again) or Obama and Michelle as leaders of the free world. Wake up! POTUS is only a figure head as far as the US goes but he rules as far as foreign affairs are concerned. People in the middle east sympathize with Black americans and if you want the country to come together and find its respect then you should consider making history with Obama
change the game
Obama 08

Eye:
Actually, I think you need to take your blinders off. Like the majority of his supporters, you’re blinded by empty rhetorics.
Hillary and Obama = 90% voting records overall.
Hillary and Obama = 98% Iraq/Afghanistan voting record.
So, if Hillary is so bad, what does that say for Obama?
How many *****s I know who speak Mandarin: 10-20 actually
hate to ask
Are you cross eyed?
______________________
No, I’m not cross eyed, but thanks for asking.
Like the typical blind Obama supporters – can’t debate facts – resort to personal attacks.
@ TJ
Is that number closer to 10 or 20? FYI, I didn’t say “*****’s,” I said negro’s. Get it right.

Well, thanks. I don’t agree with her politics, and I hate her guts, but she’s a black woman – I’m a black woman – so I guess we can find some common ground. Nevertheless, I appreciate your observation…:-D

Obama is a great canbdidate, he is a great politicians and will be able to change politics, but he will not win this race, the clinton mobb/mafia is too powerfull in this country.
As to Clinton, i am not sure that she will do well against McCain and even if i am a dem, i guess breaking the clinton-bush cycle in this country could do us some good… This is the U.S of A. after all it’s not pakistan or india where it’s all about dinasties between husbands and wives or fathers and sons…
I really hope McCain will win over clinton
By the way Obama is so bad as a candidate he just received the endorsement of the most powerfull Environement Activist Organisation
“STOP!! that girl does not look like Condi!!-thats insulting”

Insulting for whom condi or that obama hater girl?
@Dr. Strangelove wrote, “How many negro’s you know speak Mandarin Chinese?”
More should. China is where it’s gonna be at, if it ain’t already. The little illegal kids are being taught chinese as well as english out in california, when they can find a magnet program….. what are little black kids gonna do? The illegals shouldn’t be here, but they’re taking advantage of all the opportunities they’re stealing from everybody else. Native black folks……….. I don’t know what to say.
@Dr. Strangelove wrote, “If you recall, in June 07, the Obama campaign took a very direct jab at Clinton by referring to her as the Senator from the Punjabi region of India (by alledging that she supports outsourcing). That’s not how I remember it at all. What I remember is:
a) Obama himself rebuked the aide who sent out the memo, explaining that he
had Indian friends and wouldn’t have gone there,
b) the memo writer was riffing on something HILLARY CLINTON CALLED HERSELF, FIRST. Looks like half of my memory at least is right. Peep this written in the Chicago Tribune, June 15, 2007:
——————————————
“(D-Punjab)” — Funny dig or low blow?
The Swamp is reporting that Ill. Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign is under fire for a sharp-elbowed memorandum blasting one of his major opponents, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, for her cozy relationship with India. It begins –
HILLARY CLINTON (D-PUNJAB)’S PERSONAL FINANCIAL AND POLITICAL TIES TO INDIA The Clintons have reaped significant financial rewards from their relationship with the Indian community, both in their personal finances and Hillary’s campaign fundraising….
The reference in the headline is an allusion to an article found in the Nexis news database from the the March 17, 2006 issue of India Abroad. Writer Aziz Haniffa was reporting from a fundraiser in which “over 80 prominent Sikh professionals and entrepreneurs from the Washington metropolitan area paid $500 to $2,000 apiece” to boost Clinton’s political warchest:
At the fundraiser hosted by Dr Rajwant Singh at his Potomac, Maryland, home, and which raised nearly $50,000 for her re-election campaign, Clinton began by joking that, ‘I can certainly run for the Senate seat in Punjab and win easily,’ after being introduced by Singh as the Senator not only from New York but also Punjab.
—————————–
but wait, there’s more. The Chicago Tribune updates:
—————————-
Rob Nesvacil at Illinois Reason takes on the controversy: “In essence, all the memo is doing is a little political jujitsu — turning a strong source of support and donations against Sen. Clinton by using her own words and claim. She was the one who said she could be the Senator from Punjab, the Obama campaign took her up on it to illustrate their point. And their point, of course, is to highlight Sen. Clinton’s coziness with outsourcing interests in India, and their own quid pro quo commitment to supporting her campaign monetarily.”
The Times of India: “Obama is picking up where John Kerry left off four years ago: Hit the outsourcing alarm button and see if there is any jolt of response from the American voters. That’s not a very smart thing to do in a global world.”
United States India Political Action Committee : “Chairman Sanjay Puri sent a letter asking Senator Obama to respond to recent allegations reported by the media that his presidential campaign staff has been promoting hurtful stereotypes against the Indian American community.”
The Information Technology Professionals *****ociation of America: “(ITPAA), an advocacy group based in Wilmington, Delaware representing professionals in the high-tech field has handed out its first Weasel Award of 2005 to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D – NY). The organization, representing over 1,200 IT professionals nationwide, presents this award to business and political leaders that it believes betrays the trust of the American people….The ITPAA based its award on Indian press reports of Sen. Clinton supporting outsourcing and *****uring political and business leaders in India that the US would not attempt to save the jobs lost.”
————————–
Hillary Clinton DID WHAT??! did she ever refute those Indian press reports? or is she hoping *****ody remembers and will just remember her accusing Obama of using a slur against her without digging deeper into the cir*****stances of the alleged slur. She can’t even claim that it’s an inner group thing, like black folk calling each other n*gga, because she ain’t Indian. This is a lot deeper than ‘allegedly’ Dr. Strangelove, when it comes to her commitment to outsourcing……….and again, we gotta go back to NAFTA, which came to fruition under her co-presidency. NAFTA was supposed to help Mexico. It didn’t.
What’s really important to me, though, is less the jab than why it was written in the first place. According to the blog talkleft,
“The New York Times reports that the Clintons recently divested themselves of their stocks held in a blind trust (meaning the stocks were chosen by trustees and they were not allowed to be advised of which stocks they were holding) to avoid any allegations of conflict of interest….Mr. Clinton also has $15,001 to $50,000 in Easy Bill Ltd., an India-based company that works on electronic transactions and business services for Indians. (The memo) called Mrs. Clinton “Hillary Clinton (D-Punjab)” in its headline. The do*****ent went on to refer to the investment in India and Mrs. Clinton’s fund-raising efforts among Indian-Americans. The *****ysis also highlighted the acceptance by Mr. Clinton of $300,000 in speech fees from Cisco, a company the Obama campaign said has moved American jobs to India. Asked about the do*****ent, Bill Burton, a spokesman for Mr. Obama, said: “We did give reporters a series of comments she made on the record and other things that are publicly available to anyone who has access to the Internet. I don’t see why anyone would take umbrage with that.” Asked why the Obama campaign had initially insisted that it not be connected to the do*****ent, Mr. Burton replied, “I’m going to leave my comment at that.”
The big issue isn’t really the punjab ’slur’ at all. It’s whether:
a) Obama’s campaign was in the right to hold the Clintons responsible for stocks they only profited from and had no control over actually choosing to profit from them, and
b) Obama’s campaign was in the right or wrong to request that their name not be connected to distributing information about the stocks, and the speech fees the Clintons had accepted from Indian companies which happened to profit from outsourcing.
@ Dr. Strangelove,
(contd) Obama hitting her with Walmart was supposed to be a double-whammy. If you’ve followed progressive blogs (and you probably have) you know the contempt with which Walmart is held because it is anti-union, anti-worker, anti-benefits, anti-local business and exploits those from whom it buys merchandise. Walmart has been called out for years for the number of workers who must obtain government *****istance while working there, all the while Walmart plays accounting games with the concept of part-time… and gives itself more profit while citizens and government pay a deeper burden. What exactly did Hillary do for the common worker while she was sat on the Board of Directors for Walmart? I don’t know. Maybe you do.
That’s the first whammy. The second whammy is a rebuke of Bob Johnson’s remarks when he introduced Hillary Clinton at some speech at Columbia University:
“As an African American, I am frankly insulted that the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues, when Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood that I won’t say what he was doing but he said it in his book…”
Yeah, right, Bob. So when black bloggers (including Bossip, thank you — I don’t care if you are jew owned or not) called out Bob Johnson, the firestorm got to the point where Bob and the Clintons claimed they only meant Obama’s community activist activities on the Southside of Chicago. That was as disingenous as Mark Penn getting up on MSNBC and claiming that the kindergarten press release meant to prove that Obama was a liar and had thought about being president for longer than Hillary had — was a joke, how could anyone take that official press release seriously? Mark Penn was covering Hillary’s *****, Bob Johnson was covering his own and the Clinton’s *****es (since the Clinton’s had brought up Obama’s youthful *****e use first by claiming that they were only protecting him, since the Republicans were going to do it and he needed to be tested).
So there are your double whammys, and why I (personally) had no problem whatsoever with Obama bringing it up.
The Clintons wanted to see Obama, to test him… well, there it is. He can fight back. Hillary Clinton could have followed that up by explaining what she’s done while with Walmart.
She didn’t.
Instead, she brought in Rezko — thus ensuring that her own (and Bill’s) can of worms would be allowable to be used against them in the primaries and in the general. It was a very low blow. It would be mirroed, in my opinion, by Bill Clinton brushing off South Carolina — and black voters — when he compared Obama to Jesse Jackson last week. Why couldn’t Hillary speak of positives? Maybe there are none, Dr. Strangelove. But again, I don’t know.
@ 99 problems, Nader did what now?? are you serious? The Green Party’s already got candidates — they’ve got like, seven, I’m reading at Google. Cynthia McKinney is one of them. Oh yeah, and apparently Nader had endorsed John Edwards, but John Edwards quit (I had hoped he would stay through for another debate — I enjoyed him and Obama playing tennis together). Nader needs to quit. I felt he was right, with the wrong results, in 2000. I felt he was an *****hole traitor in 2004, because of the money he took from Republicans to act as spoiler again. Nader needs to step off the ego-tripping, and get back to what’s good for the nation.
@ Optimus, I don’t trust McCain. He’s got that ***** Cheney smirk working in overdrive. Plus he’s too war-happy. We don’t need more war, we need to fix what we’ve already gotten started. It’s a sad day when I’d vote for the Mormon… but I would, over McCain. I need to shower, now.
@ anonymous, you wrote, “Obama was the only one not to support the war, from the get go. just because he didn’t support the war doesn’t mean he shouldn’t support the troops. what was obama supposed to do? not vote to send more weapons and supplies after his cohorts stupidly voted for the war? thank you, thank you, thank you. preach on.
@Natalia Smith, what does Obama need to lay off of?
Dayum…talk about bringing the heat!
Obama should have resisted for a little longer before he tore her up
@ BOSSIP GOD
Very funny. Brilliant.
@ Nita
Nader is egotistical?
OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!!!!
obama always has that ‘look’ like negro please .. i know he can scrap too – with his black azz lips – keep smoking pres, if that’s gonna make you relaxed and help you do your job! OBAMA/EDWARDS 2008!
So many misinformed crabs. This is why “black people” will never advance as a race. Only as individuals. No support. People think so highly of themselves that they want to prove they are different from the rest, and they are only uncovering their ignorance. The man is black AND qualified. What else does he need to do to get your vote? You can depend on caucasians when they support… That’s why they buy cds of artists they like. They will support people. Black folks are too misinformed, oblivious, and insecure. Why are you so adamantly stating that you won’t support someone just b/c they are black. That doesn’t make you look enlightened. Just divisive.
The argument that Obama had no way out of approving hundreds of billions of dollars ‘for the troops’ is a cop-out. Per the constitution, congress has the authority to provide conditional funding – to make sure the troops have everything they need to survive until they exit out of Iraq and Afghanistan. The billions of dollars, however, were approved to continue the war – not solely for the troops.
Bill Clinton, although I can’t stand him, was correct when he called Mr. Obama’s “oppositition” to the war a “fairy tale”.
Anon & Nita:
What explanation do you have for him voting against bringing the troops home, WITHIN A YEARS TIME, twice…
Patriot act?
Real Id Act?
These are all neocon policies, that the fake ***** progressive was eager to support.
ChinaBowls:
Your argument that Mr. Obama is ‘black and qualified’ is half-*****ed adn half-baked.
So, by your logic, we should all support (if they were to run for president) Condoleeza Rice, Colin Powell, Alan Keyes, and every “black and qualified” candidates out there?
You may follow these ignant philosophies, but I don’t.
Oh, and what’s wrong with being different? Should people not strive to be different? And should we not excercize our individuality? I mean if I don’t support Mr. Obama, why should I pretend just to please that bull***** “support our people no matter what” movement?
Sorry, but all over the world exist black leaders who are oppresssing their people, so the notion that all black people are automatically on your side is utterly false.
You should think about basing your support for him on his actions in office since he’s been a senator.
NAHNAH YOU ARE A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WILLIE LYNCH.
SENATOR OBAMA INITALLY DID NOT SPECIFICALLY SEEK BLACK VOTERS FOR THIS ELECTION, BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT THE ESTABLISHMENT WOULD TRY TO PLACE HIM IN A BOX. I DID NOT START OUT BEING A SENATOR OBAMA FAN, BUT BECAUSE OF ALL THE BRAINWASHING BEING DONE, SOME NEW MEDIA FOR HIM, SOME AGAINST HIM BUT ALL BEING OWNED BY 6 COMPANIES TOTAL. I HAD TO DO MY RESEARCH. WITH THAT BEING SAID, WHAT DO YOU THINK DR MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR WOULD WANT YOU TO DO. REMEMBER HIM, HE DID NOT LOSE HIS LIFE FOR US TO NOT COME TOGETHER AND SPEAK IN ONE VOICE FOR ONCE IN OUR LIVES. ALL THE RACE BAITING, AND CODE WORDS ARE MOVING A LOT OF PEOPLE TO VOTE BASED ON RACE. WHEN WILL BLACK PEOPLE WTF UP? THIS MAN REPRESENTS ALL OF US, GOOD OR BAD.
I DO NOT AGREE WITH EVERYTHING THAT HE WANTS BUT AT LEAST HE WANTS TO BRING THIS COUNTRY TOGETHER. WE REALLY HAVE TO WORK WITH HIM ON THIS ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION THING BUT OVERALL HE WILL WORK FOR THE COMMON GOOD OF ALL AMERICANS, THINKING ABOUT BLACKS IN THE EQUATION. WHEN HAS THAT EVER BEEN DONE?
WAKE UP BLACK AMERICAN….WE HAVE BEEN HERE ALMOST 300 YEARS. LET GO OF THE WILLIE LYNCH SYNDROME.
I am so proud of Obama! We need Change and obama is the right man for the job. If the clintons cared so much about health care and all the other issues that she claims to support then why wasn’t this taken care of when her husband was in office for 8 years?! Would these Demorcrats be voting for her if she wasn’t the former first lady? Obama isn’t riding on anyone’s coat tail and he is doing great in the polls …That should tell you that America wants change.
In the pic he looks like he wants to slap her.
OBAMA 08
Obama ‘08
How many times do I have to tell people to ignore Nahnah
No Alan Keyes is not qualified. My pet peeve is when other African-Americans say so much to tear Obama down, and he has not given any reason to do so.
People who refuse to support him always respond, “Just because he is black does not mean I’m going to vote for him.” This is the first thing they say. That’s not a good argument for why you will not support him.
However, people has this loyalty for the Clintons, b/c they have always “done so much for the black community.” I am still wondering what they have done that deserves acknowledgement. If that is the reason for voting another Clinton in office, what did you have against John Edwards? He is one of the realest white guys out there, and has true comp*****ion for oppressed people (black, white, red, and yellow).
Nahnah inherently hates herself. She reminds me of blacks who denounce HBCUs and point out their flaws, and praise PWIs while ignoring theirs. They say HBCUs are less qualified, but pay no mind to the positive efforts and message. You don’t have to go to one, but why denounce them?? You don’t have to vote for Obama, but why denounce him?
Yes, I have a couple issues with Obama’s campaign… but you will never catch me *****g him out. I initially planned to vote for a republican this time around, b/c I share similar beliefs with their candidates. But this race is historical, and you will never catch me doubting or criticizing Obama. Half the people on here making negative statements ar regurgitating info they have seen elsewhere, and only weak-minded individuals are swayed by media headlines.
The facts are there… The Clinton’s are shady and we have all been there to witness their irreprehensible acts firsthand. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice….. Hell no! But some would rather support them than a black man who is a viable option with a clean record. Wooooooow
If Hillary gets the nomination. She isn’t going to win– trust. Especially if McCain is her competition. Don’t know if you watched the debate last night, but he is not afraid to revert to one’s past(and she has a nasty one). O yea Most Americans, including myself, would trust him w/ the war over her any day.
so when hilary accused him of voting against the patriot act and so forth…she was bad….interesting
He is just as flawed as she is, nad thats what annoys me about bossip shoving him down our throat. I will vote for Obama, but i’ll say this. He’s gonna have shyt to clean up, and McCain will wipe the floor w/ his ***** if he think he could bring something about someone when he’s vote for somethign questionable things as well.
call da clintons whatever ya want, but u know what…..things ain’t been da same since ole bill left office.
NAHNAH YOU ARE A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WILLIE LYNCH.

Oh SHADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDUP!
No matter what you say, I’m not going to support Obama, so get over it! LOL!!!
And you and your Willie Lynch bull*****. Umm, I hate them all, honey bunches of oats. They are all FULL OF *****, including Obama.
O yea. Meant to ask why should people strive to be different? There is a time and a place for everything.
If you are different, you are different. You shouldn’t have to STRIVE…lol That’s my point. Some people say they aren’t voting for Obama, and that is simply b/c they are *striving* to be different. Who are you proving your uniqueness to? That ***** doesn’t make you special.
If you have a different perspective that’s fine, but all this forced suido-uniqueness is lame and calculated.
We all know politicians have skeletons in their closets, but so do we. Of course voting for a president involves selecting the lesser of two evils.
Nah nah honestly, I don’t think anyone is attempting to recruit you to the Obama team.
Chinabowls:
You get a big SHADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDUP, too.
You and your pyscho-anlayzing is putting me to sleep. *yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwn*
Maybe you don’t understand?
I HATE HITLERY!
I HATE OBAMA!
I HATE BUSH!
I HATE ROMNEY!
I HATE MCCAIN!
As a politically progressive person and strong advocate for civil liberties, I denounce the Patriot Act and the Real ID act and have absolutely NO respect for politicians who support such unconstitutional measures.
How could I possibly tear Obama down, when I don’t know him personally? I never said anything about his appearance. I never said anything about his wife. From the time I’ve been posting here, I gave solid reasons why I don’t support him – which has to do with HIS POLICIES, and him mascarading like the messiah, when he’s nothing but a typical Democrat. Do you hear that?
All that he’s black so blindly support him mantra is not my style, sorry. And I won’t jump on the bandwagon. Frankly, the media pushed his *****, and for that everybody loves him now…
Oh, and the holocaust was historical too, and? Not that I’m comparing this race with the holocaust, but your logic makes no sense. A black man is running, and? I’m more concerned about whether or not that black man is up to my standards, and since he’s a fake ***** progressive, who pretends to be antiwar just to garner votes, then I am AGAINST HIM and will continue to express my opposition to him until I feel like it. You or *****ody on here can’t or will stop me from speaking my mind.
But I can understand why you and so many others would be so threatened by my opinions, since your support for him is based on emotions instead of facts.
If you were so secure with your support endorsement, you wouldn’t feel the need to write a whole novel about how I ‘hate myself internally’ because I don’t support a politician who couldn’t give a ***** about you, or whether or not thousands of BLACK soldiers are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Since I have not followed your several posts on here, I apologize, but I am not familiar with your apathetic views.
Like I said, I don’t think anyone is trying to convert you to the Obama team.
You are going to stress yourself out thinking you can change the way our crooked government operates. Unless you intend on dedicating your life to taking Washington by storm and protesting, just fall in place sistagirl… you will be a lot less angry!
Venting on message boards is wasting your time. Go out and enlighten others. Get a rally going. Be careful tho b/c I heard the cia doesn’t play.
O yea, you might want to try a different country. In this day and age, it isn’t difficult to pack up and leave… but you might have a hard time getting back in.lol
Several years ago, Colin Powell, a black man, stood in front of the world and LIED about Iraq and WMD’s, which caused the death of how many of our “black brothers and sisters”…?
Condoleeza Rice, a black woman, continues to LIE, which resulted in the death of how many of our “black brothers and sisters”, and more to come…
Additionally, the ruling elite in African and Caribbean countries continue to side with the western elite to inflict pain and misery to their people.
So, history and the present prove that cl***** has more to do with it than race does. Afterall, racism is a byproduct of cl*****ism.
So, the “support Obama because he’s black, and forget about his policies” train is one I’m willing to miss.
Although I don’t go around breaking stuff, and screaming and hollering, I am ok with you labeling me as “angry”, because Americans have the right to be angry for what’s going on in this country today.
Lies.
Wars.
Unemployment.
A different scandal every week.
High gas price.
High food.
High everything…
I can’t walk the streets of Manhattan without accidently stepping on a homeless person…
I can’t walk to the subway without somebody asking me money to buy food…
High rate of foreclosures…
High rate of credit card deliquencies…
No, not enough to be angry?
BTW: I am at work, therefore I can’t be out “protesting”…
And although I was involved in several antiwar/peace organizations, those folks are as phony as ever. Many of them pretend to be antiwar just because it’s the hip thing to do, but the majority of the are supporting Clinton simply because she’s a woman. They forgot their pledge to stand for peace…
“Nahnah inherently hates herself. She reminds me of blacks who denounce HBCUs and point out their flaws, and praise PWIs while ignoring theirs. I totally disagree with “ChinaBowl” on this one. As a very proud and active alumnus of an HBC, I recognize and appreciate the value of the education I received. It was at my alma mater that I learned the importance of questioning one’s motives and seeing both sides of the story. The reason I question Obama’s campaign tactics (and every other candidate) are because of my institution. BTW, I have a masters from a PWI. The differences between each type of institution are quite clear to me.
I wonder if you hate yourself, “Chinabowl.” It seems you are willing to belittle black women.
That is all.
I really wish the Bossip “God” will stop blocking my IP address. If you can’t take the questions, you are in the wrong game.
ok for one stangelove…obama voted to fund the war because they were already at war and he thought it would be best to not hurt the troops by being against funding..
its one thing if he voted for the war and for funding…but he voted against the war…and because of ppl like hilary, they ended up GOING to war
what is he supposed to do then?
its similar to not wanting someone to go to college, they go any…and you pay there tuition…
why hurt them if they’re already there?
anyway*
I belittle black women? But I am a black woman…….. righhht
And that had nothing to do with the excerpt you quoted. Nah nah I guess you are too real for everyone! I think if you were truly dedicated to the cause you would quit your job and serve your purpose.
The issues we face here are menial. People are eating dirt for breakfast, lunch, dinner in Haiti. In China, more than 100,000 people are executed annually for minor infractions. Ethnic cleansing is taking place in Kenya.
I will pay $3.00/gal to put gas in my car (a luxury most in this world aren’t fortunate to have).
The mortgage crisis is occuring b/c people wanted homes they couldn’t afford. They signed up for adjustable interest rate loans because they wanted bigger cribs they couldn’t afford… while folks can barely keep their mudhuts in tact in other countries.
People are running credit card bills up, and then want sympathy when they can’t pay the money back. You signed the contract for a 29% APR. The rest of America didn’t force you too.
Our whining is laughable and idiotic to others.
ari:
Obama not only continued to fund the war, but he voted against bringing the troops home within a year’s time.
In addition, congress has the constitutional authority to provide conditional funding – where they can fund the troops; provide them with everything they need for survival, without funding the actual war. But, since the Democrats, including Obama, are as pro-war as the Republicans, they won’t do it.
Instead, they will pretend to be helpless, as a way of fooling the American people – even after they were elected in 2006 on the platform that they’d bring the troops home.
Ah yes, there goes that “we’re bad, but others are worst” cop-out. Keep em coming, Chinabowls.
Also, as a person who’s been to Haiti, despite what the media says, Haitians don’t eat dirt. That’s plain bull*****. There’s a special kind of mud pie that Haitians eat, which has nothing to do with hunger. Stop feeding into the media’s bulll*****.
Also Chinabowls:
You’re full of *****. The mortgage crisis exist because people are losing their jobs. The subprime crisis is merely a scapegoat for the bigger issue, which is that both working poor and middle cl***** people are losing their jobs and falling behind on their payments.
I am a license Real Estate Broker in the state of Florida, New Jersey, and New York. On top of that, I have worked for several lenders in both New Jersey and New York. The last mortgage company I worked for recently closed three of their offices because of the mortgage crisis, AND THEY DON’T OFFER SUBPRIME LOANS AT ALL!
NahNah is just a house negro pet masquerading as a “concerned citizen”.
Sooooo why did you say you aren’t leaving the country again?
You take one point, turn it around, and forget the rest. Just as bad as the politicians you despise. Your pessimism and unhappiness is incurable. Poor you.
I live in Florida, and know plenty of Haitians and they don’t eat mud pies. You think people eat mud pies for fun, or b/c the are making the best of their conditions.
As a professional pessimist, it seems like you of all people would know ***** will never be perfect.
Why don’t you live for your cause, and quit your job?? You must not feel strongly enough about it.
Haha you are so funny. I bet those organizations you were in were happy you left!
Haitians eating mud pies have nothing to do with their “condition”. And not all Haitians eat mud pies, I know…
And your first sentence is a sign of incurable ‘unintelligence’, but keep ‘em coming. A cop-out for those who can’t debate, and therefore attempt to survive by finding a way out…
Shoulda listened to tj. You are a psychopath! Waste of conversation. At least rotate your pic or something…
@ lovely and amazing,
yeah, girl. i pulled up some information regarding it, though, and now i’m not feeling so good. However, Obama is running a different outreach campaign than Nader is. This is from the San Francisco Gate, 2004:
———————————————
“Nearly one in 10 of Nader’s major donors — those writing checks of $1, 000 or more — have given in recent months to the Bush-Cheney campaign, the latest do*****ents show. GOP fund-raisers also have “bundled” contributions — gathering hefty donations for maximum effect to help Nader, who has criticized the practice in the past.
The donations from wealthy Republicans — combined with increasingly vocal Democratic charges that they represent a stealth GOP effort to wound Democrat John Kerry — prompted Nader’s vice presidential running mate, Green Party member Peter Camejo, to suggest the consumer advocate reject the money that doesn’t come from loyal Nader voters.
“If there has been a wave of these (donations), then that’s something Ralph and I will have to talk about — and about returning their money,” he said Thursday in an interview with The Chronicle. “If you oppose the war, if you’re against the Patriot Act, your money is welcome.
“But if your purpose is because you think this is going to have an electoral effect, we don’t want that money. I take no money from people who disagree with us,” Camejo said. “We’re not interested in that.”
But Camejo’s views differ with Nader’s recent defense of the contributions.
“We have no indication that the Republicans are trying to maneuver support for us,” he said at a recent press conference. “There are three or four major Republican donors who have contributed to my campaign. But that’s because I worked with them on a number of issues. … It’s all very small, relatively small, contributions. And we like it that way.” ”

More at the site. Why was Nader running in 2004? Why was he really running? I don’t trust his reasons, Lovely and Amazing, that’s all. And yes, I found his defense of what occurred in 2004 proof that he was ego-driven rather than ’state of the nation’ driven. But maybe I’m wrong.
@ ChinaBowls,
I like your posts, but I gotta say something about the mortgage and credit card situation.
People were lied to about the terms of their mortgages. There’s a big difference between going into something with eyes wide open, and going into something and having the folks who should be helping you outright deceiving you.
Also, I remember when I was a student receiving those card offers. They didn’t disclose all the terms and fees of the card within the inserts. They promise people that you can receive some amount of credit…. but no one EVER receives it. Most people get the minimum and then can’t even use that because the fees eat up everything except for a small chunk of change.
Banks have gotten in trouble for mailing out their billing notices in such a way that it’s IMPOSSIBLE for someone to send in a check even that very day and have it reach the company on time. Try to pay by phone? you’re stuck with fees of up to $15 dollars to pay your own bill by phone. Why? GE got in trouble for issuing cards where people’s payments were being electronically held until the day after the billing cycle date.
There’s a lot more going down with the credit card situation than folks being irresponsible. If you’re being responsible, but you’re credit card company is sabotaging your efforts, where can you go?
These cards don’t help people get out of bad credit, they worsen people’s credit situation, and that’s why they must be stopped.
Also, with the way banks are buying out one another, it’s possible for a person to have their card change hands several times and for their rates to change accordingly. I own a card which has gone through 3 separate banks. My credit has improved. This card has worsened. As soon as it’s paid off, I’m canceling it.
@ Nita
Thank you for the informed reply. I agree with you. I have found his motives so self serving as well. Of course he would jump in the race now.
@ Anonymous
Very well put. If not Obama, then McCain. I will never vote for Billary, never.
Great website!! Keep up the good work!!
