Personally, I’m not into pop music, period (i.e., whatever gets played on the radio 6 times in one hour on one station). But at least Beyonce does have talent. Sure, she can’t act to save her life and her song-writing leaves me cold, but that’s really not her fault if you think about it. She’s been famous for forever and doesn’t have any “real life” experience, so there are no emotions to draw on for acting or song writing (besides, I don’t think Matthew stressed the whole read-a-book thing when he was grooming her for stardom by the sound of her vocabulary — or lack thereof). But she is very entertaining and slays the competition when she’s on stage. Women who talk about Rihanna not being talented just simply don’t get it. 14-year-old boys (and their middle-aged fathers) don’t care!
