Don’t shoot the messenger….check the message and leave your disdain for me out of it…that is our problem too as a people we are so QUICK to attack somebody before we even properly EVALUATE what they are saying, ie. Thank you….its sad when people cannot even be honest with THEMSELVES…I’ve been there DONE THAT and KNOW that it is feeling insecure and trying to COMPENSATE and feeling that what you have is NOT GOOD ENOUGH…you can’t trick someone who knows what they are talking about and the whole dynamics around weave, perm, ‘napp’ phobia etc….

Some of you chicks are in serious denial and for your own sakes I would hope that in some point in your lives you experience feeling BEAUTIFUL without the aid of EXTRAS…and RIH isn’t all the way there either as she is permed up..but at least its a step in the right direction!

Thank you somebody for being HONEST that a lot of us ARE INDEED UNHAPPY with the way we look because of what is SHOVED down our throats on a daily basis and what we see OUR MEN DROOLING OVER….beauty comes from within but its not profitable so that is why we have been brainswashed…its business plain and simple but at least know when you are caught up…

U all don’t have a clue…if you aren’t proud of YOU you are insecure! She was forced to wear weaves when she first came out…obviously she doesn’t have a problem with herself…unlike some well established artist who still wear a weave like a crutch…you will see Janet, JLo and so many other women in their own skin…never Ms. Yaki…if she or her people are reading they know Im telling nothing but the truth…she has become her image and is no longer secure enough to be herself…..sad actually.

Yes Americans spend more on hair weave than any other nation AS WELL AS ANTI DEPRESSANTS yes, American women caught up in a narrow standard of beauty are very insecure. I am not talking about women who wear weave sometimes BUT THOSE WHO CANNOT LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT IT…just because everyone does something doesn’t make it NORMAL or RIGHT…what poor reasoning skills you have.

If people are so Christian why arent they thankful for the way GOD made them….you need to sit down and talk to someone who has the time to break it down for you……..IT IS ABNORMAL for BLACK WOMEN to spend BILLIONS of DOLLARS on HORSE HAIR this is NOT THE SIGN OF HIGH SELF ESTEEM BUT THE OPPOSITE…get a clue…

GO RIH for BUCKING THIS PATHETIC TREND…..even if just for NOW…..who else had the courage…lets name them….
