Miami is off the hinges this weekend. Young Jeezy is squaring off against Rick Ross in an Atlanta vs Miami show plus more:

Some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B are in town to help celebrate Urban Beach Week. Be on the lookout for Diddy, Flo Rida, Fat Joe, Cash Money, Jermaine Dupri, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Nelly, Snoop Dog, Plies, Ace Hood, Trina, T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Jadakiss and Nas. And they’ll be joined in VIP by their celeb friends Bill Bellamy, Mario Chalmers, Udonis Haslem, Michael Beasley, Allen Iverson, Dwyane Wade, Jamie Foxx and Miami’s newest residents, the Kardashian sisters.

Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy will square off with 50 Cent basher Rick Ross at the Atlanta vs. Miami bash held Sunday at Mansion. But Jeezy, 31, says it’s all in good fun. The rapper, who has collaborated with Akon, Kanye West and Usher, told us he loves his Miami fans. The hip-hop hottie is currently working on a new album and hopes to tour with his best bud Lil Wayne in July. ”You won’t be disappointed, and you can always expect some additional surprises,” Jeezy said about his new music.

It could be fun, or it could be real ignorant. We’ll see.

  • Mapple

I love Miami, and the article makes everything sound good on the surface, but if your not a celebrity or you don’t have some serious connections in Miami, this is not the weekend to be there. And trust there will be thousands of people there who aren’t celebrities and have no connects, so they all get thrown into the same crowd which equals unorganized chaos! Lol! I’m good, I’ll just fly down next weekend!

  • Tammy

Damn why couldn’t I be there.

    @ JustMe! and Mapple

Thank god, finally two people who agree with Its6am’s logic, I thought I was alone in this fight.

there will be thousands of people here in Miami (305 get it) with no hotel room, no connections and no money, but plenty of energy to get into trouble.

  • Slide Like A Fresh Pair of Gators

The f#cked up thing about Memorial Day Weekend in Miami, is that (*I used to live in Miami) some lawyers will put their business cards and flyers on cars ALL UP & DOWN Collins Avenue talkin’ ’bout if you get locked up call me and I’ll help you = NO BULLSH#T!!!

I lie to you NOT!!! I NEVER before or afterwards ever saw that in my life (*nothing to that extreme = 30 to 40 Blocks of cars with lawyers business cards and flyers on them) and you NEVER see that at ANY OTHER TIME during the year down on South Beach Miami = Ain’t that messed up😦

But the thing is you can’t even blame them for seeing this as a business opportunity and trying to take advantage of the situation and viewing it as a way to pick up business, you know how ignant some of us are… SMH

    Sad but true😦

I have lived in Miami and Miami Beach since 1992.

The article fails to mention all of the South Beach residents who flee town during “Urban” weekend because it is too hood and foolish.

I remember the year the Miami Beach cops arrested half of the people there and locked them up until it was time for their planes to leave.

  • chaka1

    @Its6amHoGetOut

Damn, that was a good report. You forgot to mention that they jack up the prices for drinks too.

I am on a plane headed back So Fla right now.

I can’t wait to see photos.

  • Its6amHoGetOut

    @ Chaka1 and The Smartest,

I’d like to thank the both of you for your support of my truthfulness. Im surprised both of you havent been accused of being me yet. Wheres my haters when you need them?

  • Why Am I Reading These Comments?

I was in South Beach last weekend, and not only the concierge at our hotel but also a few of the waitstaff along Ocean Drive shared with us their HATRED for Memorial wknd. They said a lot of the hotels and restaurants actually close down in fear. Their biggest gripe was people not wanting to pay for anything, not tipping, and walking out on bills.

  • Its6amHoGetOut

    on bills, sorry.

I forgot one thing, both the n*ggas and n*ggettes have braid extensions.

  • Its6amHoGetOut

    mispelled? lol

    damn grey goose!
