Barack Obama took the lead in California polls against that shady Hillary Clinton before Tuesday’s primary and has significantly closed the gap nationally:
In California, Obama gained two points on Clinton overnight to lead 46 percent to 40 percent, with a margin of error of 3.2 percentage points. Obama wiped out a 1-point Clinton advantage in Missouri to take a 47 percent to 42 percent lead, with a margin of error of 3.4 percentage points.
The two rivals were deadlocked at 43 percent in New Jersey, with 10 percent still undecided. Obama had a 17-point edge in Georgia, aided by a more than 3-to-1 edge among black voters.
“The momentum is with Obama,” said pollster John Zogby. “If this trend continues it could be a very big night for him.”

The greatest lesson that will come out of this Democratic Primary race is that liberals love to point fingers at the South and say that all the prejudice and bigotry is lower the Mason-Dixon line. WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.
The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC’’s “This Week,” she said: “I think there are a number of mechanisms” that are possible, including “going after people’’s wages …”
I am proud to be an Obama Supporter, especially if he can be considerate of the peoples voice and not demand me to do anything that may not be within my budget. At least he’s broad enough to not dictate what’s going to be done with my earnings,there’s enough being taken from the American People and nothing given to accomodate.
You need to watch “Sicko” before saying that universal health care is not the way to go. Isn’t it better for poor folks to have SOME health care than none? If you are one of those people that want to leave the poor in the dust then why don’t you go join the elite republicans?? People are always forgetting about taking care of those less fortunate…

The term Bradley effect or Wilder effect refers to an explanation advanced as the possible cause of a phenomenon which has led to inaccurate voter opinion polls in some American political campaigns between a white candidate and a non-white candidate. Universal healtcare is just a broad term used to p*****ify the m*****es without completely explaining how implementing such a plan will benifit the people I’m confused as to how someone can watch Sicko and not come away with the facts, the healthcare system in America is corrupt , and mandating healthcare does not haev anything to do with reconstructing a disgusting system. Universal Healthcare may work in the Uk and other European countries but keep in mind these are smaller countries.#1 most people in Europe and Canada haev 30% deducted from theyer check for universal healthcare, so how does Hilary purpose to pay for that #2 healthcare needs to be prevenative and affordable , how is mandating healthcare gonna combat skyrocketing deductibles, authorization denials, unethical denials of coverage, and unaffordable procedures and hospital stays? People cannot afford to get sick or even maintain health, most are afraid to even see the docotor baecuse theyre afraid something may be wrong, and they cannot afford to fix it even with health coverage.

And she plans to force people to buy it. You will have her healthcare plan, whether you want it or not — otherwise, you will pay a penalty on your 1040 in April and/or will have your wages garnished. She’s publically open to both. Obama, meanwhile, wants to make universal healthcare mandatory for children only. We’ll see. He said himself, when debating Hillary, people don’t have healthcare because they choose not to* but because they can’t afford. I’ve since learned that the people who choose not to are usually very young, like teens and 20 year olds, who aren’t paying for healthcare… for obvious reasons. But this is looking like some social security *****, and social security is a mess right now (in my opinion). Then you’re gonna have folks who try to get their money’s worth for having to be forced to pay into the system, and the system suddenly becomes even more clogged.

the US would also have to deal with price and quality inequities in food distribution on the one hand; and on the other, folks choosing anything but ‘good food’ even when they do have access to quality.

Count me in NOT supporting Obama. “Change” will not occur with him. It may not mean much, but I am going to vote for Ron Paul. People say that he will not stand a chance, but I rather “waste” my vote on him than resort to a “lesser of evils” vote.

I’m not down for no universal healthcare…I’m sorry but architects are already underpayed compared to people that spit out lyrics and throw a football and get paid millions, but it has to come out of our checks for poor people?…Take some of that money out of the senators checks…our economy is dieing yet we spit out so much money for entertainment while people lose homes…
I understand the need for universal healthcare but when I saw Hillary on television saying that she was going to GARNISH PEOPLE’S WAGES that do not put into her healthplan!!
