Nikki Giavasis is finally speaking out about the drama surrounding her and her ex-boyfriend Raphael Shawn Brown. Looks like she’s really puttin’ his @ss on blast. This chick don’t play.

Los Angeles – CA, May 25, 2009 – Model Nikki Giavasis wants to set the record straight regarding recent stories that have appeared on famed site TMZ.com and other gossip sites regarding Giavasis and her ex-boyfriend of four years, Raphael Shawn Brown of NEXT.

TMZ.com recently reported that one of Giavasis’ children is by convicted killer, ex-cop Bobby Cutts, which isn’t accurate. Giavasis has one child from a past five year relationship with basketball player, Shawn Kemp.

In addition, Giavasis only dated Cutts for four months in 1996. She ended the brief relationship when Cutts became possessive and jealous. Cutts then stalked her continuously for eleven years and it was Giavasis who tipped off a journalist who was reporting on
Cutts’ girlfriend’s disappearance to look at Cutts because of her past
experiences with Cutts.

Giavasis also wants to make it clear to everyone that her relationship with Brown is not the first case where Brown has been ordered to stay away from his partner. Brown has been married twice before and each relationship has ended in violence and stalking, which has led to Brown having two strikes against his record.

Brown’s most recent arrest came when he tracked Giavasis down by her Twitter page and was able to hack her account and tracked her by the GPS on her I Phone.

It was the night of May 8 that Brown located her at a friends place and began following her home. Giavasis noticed she was being followed and called the police because she felt she was in danger. The police picked up Brown as he was trying to enter
Giavasis secure neighborhood.

Giavasis states that during her on again off again relationship with Brown, she invested $200,000 in Goldiggez and when Brown wrote her a check for $300,000 to pay her back with interest, the check bounced.

When Giavasis went to file a restraining order against Brown she brought the bounced check with her to the police station and it was mentioned in the order.

In addition, Giavasis says that during her four years with Brown, that she suffered mental and physical abuse. Giavasis states that Brown involved her in two major car crashes, one where he rear ended her in her car and the other where he crashed her car with her inside the vehicle (she is in the process of suing him for damages); both incidents were because Brown was angry at her and they were arguing.

There was also a past incident when they were arguing that Brown spat on Giavasis. She also states that his constant stalking forced her to move several times, but he would always find her and would break in.

Giavasis just wants to set the record straight and is hoping by responding to past inaccurate stories that she can lay the rumors to rest and move forward without being under public scrutiny.

She regrets her past mistakes and bad judgment in boyfriends and hopes that people can stop putting her in the spotlight and in the center of the bad behavior that these men have
displayed.

Perfect example of a side piece who ends up getting the last laugh. When will these men learn?

I think this ***** is funny…some black men will have u thinking that the problem in the black family boils down to the loud, whorish, angry black woman. -The multiple baby mamas–look at this woman’s situation with Shawn Kemp. U would think at some point he would start wearing condoms. Plus I know many, many white, asian, and hispanic chicks left with half-black children and their man is off to the next woman. I know many black children are raised in single parent homes and therefore don’t have a example of a successful marriage to copy. Why? Because the first sign of problems these men leave. They have no sense of ’stick to itness’. Also a study of dating patterns by the University of Chicago found that black males, no other race, typically maintain several long term relationships at the same time, hence the lack of marriage and the multiple baby mamas.

-The violence that this woman dealt with from two of her black men, the murder and the stalker. Black men love to say black women are angry and bitter and confrontational. Well we learned that behavior from somewhere. We learned that behavior at home, the same place that black men learned their anti-social behavior from. In our community, its common, even praised, for people to loose their mind and act a fool. Look at all the unnecessary street violence and our crazy domestic violence stats. Now these men are choosing to take that dysfunctional, unproductive anger into their relationship with other races. In my city,Seattle, I routinely see white women on TV talking about surviving their abusive relationships, over and over they are married to a black guy.–note I view these stories with suspicion because I know the media loves the perfect white victim. And in a way they are warning other white women away from these dangerous black men.–Point of this post, Interracial relationships are not the utopia that black men want us to think. Hey I went to an all white high school and college. I know many, many white, asian, latino women who are dealing with some serious BS. –Let me give u guys some stories to prove my point:

-In high school, I had two biracial friends. One is half black and half white, her father left when she was one and has 4 other kids with 3 other women, they are all biracial. His mother, her grandmother keeps in touch with her, not the daddy. She loved my house, the only time she got to be around black people.

-My other friend in high school half black/half hispanic. Her mother hated the fact she dated black men, very vocal. She even told me in her very broken english, “black men, no good.” I stopped going over her house because her mom acted like I was her therapist at 17, helping her deal with all her black male problems.

He tried to blame me, angry black chick, for breaking up his relationship after his 40 year old sugar mama called my friend for a meeting about their love triangle. Come to find out, his car she cosigned for it and she had aborted his baby.–but yet the black chick, who did know all kind of dirt on him but kept out of their drama, is at fault for his demise., cl*****ic.

-And my least favorite story, my other hispanic friend’s black boyfriend drugged and raped one of her white friends, left her a *****/*****ty mess for her roommate to find, he sodomized the hell out of her. Yeah, it sucked to live in a white small town and have that ***** hit the newspaper.

-Last story, in my old apartments, there was this 12 year old black/asian old girl, who father abandoned her family for a young white chick. This kid is the only black child in her large asian family. She was stuck to my hip because she feels black but don’t know any black people. Her mother came to me and asked if I would spend time with her daughter because she’s having problems with being black. For about 8 months, this girl would come to my house and hang out.

-My brother-in-law is black/white is father has 7 kids, with a son that he gave the same name as my brother, Frederick Anthony, what the *****?

Point of this post, don’t believe the hype. The same dysfunction we get, other races of women are also getting. Now there are many good black men, my grandfather and step dad were the bomb. But we have some idiots in our midst. Keep addressing the sexism u see and school younger women.

Although I’m offended by your use of gutter language “ghetto black *****es”, I’ll answer your question. But first I want to say that part of black dysfunction is our use of bad, vulgar language. I have no problem with us using ‘y’all’ or ‘ain’t', but I have a problem with us pulling out the *****, ho, ***** stuff to quick. It sets a bad example for our kids and keeps us in a negative/angry state of mind.

As for the over commitment to black men, they are family and friends. We love them and understand them. And we may not own them, but we give birth to them, grow up in the same houses, and bury them when they die. We are natural partners. I want to see them do well because I understand that my community and family depend on their health and happiness. –And having black men show preference for other races of women set a bad example for black kids and community. It sets black america up as the negative in this world that people have to run away from in order to succeed(kinda like white flight). Note this self-hate negatively affects both black male and female children. Leaves our neighborhoods as violent ghost towns. We are in this together. We have to fix the black community together. There is no escape from our collective dysfunction because these brothers are taking their dysfunction with him, thats why I posted those stories.

I hear u on what you’re saying. I noticed a couple of things about the white woman wanting to be black phenomenon.
One, they date black men and being they have identity issues they think they can fit into the black world and try to model black female behavior. They listen to black music, dress black, talk black, then try to talk about black issues(the *****ing worse part). Sometimes its annoying, sometimes its funny, but mostly I recognize that they, like all women, don’t know or love themselves so they try to play that role.

Two, white people will scorn a white woman dating a black man hella quick, so all they have left is their black friends. They want to be loved and accepted by black society and black women, after all their man’s momma, sister, and cousins are all black women. I know a few white women who claim they are more comfortable with black people than whites.

Three, they finally get the black female attitude after dealing with black men. They realize that they have to stand up for themselves, hence they hate being seen as that black ***** loving doormat that all the brothers flock to for a free ride.

Although I believe that u and your daughter share some of the same opinions, but women deal with a completely extra set of issues. Beauty and larger social standing effects black women’s self esteem which leads to a lot of bad decisions by women, from teen pregnancy to abusive relationships. I think Chris Rock is making a do*****entary that will help us understand the world of black girls a little more. And this here is the stuff that highlights are collective low self-esteem, its very relevant. Especially, where I live. All the black kids in my daughter’s school are biracial and their white mothers are complaining that their kids wish they were white, its a real issue.–I will say your daughter has some real concerns about interracial dating, but for argument sake you’ll probably never admit it.

well let me be completely honest with u, I went to a white high school in Arizona. And there was no black on black love. Out of 20 sisters, two had boyfriends that went to our school. Both of those women were biracial, but their black boyfriends both had white girls on the side. My senior year high school my girl Reena was killed in a drive by shooting, we had to go all the way to the black side of town for our dose of black love. The driver in this shooting was a white girl , driving her father’s car for her black boyfriend. –I had two black boyfriends with some serious white girl issues and talk to them at length about their self-hate. Of course, they painted it as love is love, people are people but once we got deep all kind of pathology came out. One of these men, I lived with when I found pictures of him and his friend pulling a train on a white girl. Over the next month that I lived with him,took me sometime to move, it was one confession after another. I learned all kinda things about how low he felt about himself and how he worshipped white chicks. I talked to his friends and my four brothers, I realized that as a people we have internalized a lot of the racist ideas about ourselves. I also realized that because of this internalized self-hate our neighborhoods are pure *****, which was the very reason that my parents worked so hard to move our family from chicago to phoenix.

sorry I missed your response but I had to go pick up my daughter. While I was out I thought about the deep down reason why I have a problem with black men/white women. And its weird because all my close friends are white, I live in an all white area and my kid plays with nothing but white kids. In fact there is like 10 black kids in her whole school. Most of those kids are biracial. So why do this issue boil the ***** out of me?

I think it goes back to my childhood when my uncle married a white women. my one uncle never married my Aunt Joyce, the black woman who had his black son. This same uncle had a love child with a white woman when he was 19. Her parents sent her to a wayward girls home in Sweden to have her baby then they put the baby up for adoption.Now years later, around 1996 this adult son comes from sweden to meet his birth parents. My cousin looks straight like my uncle and it hurts my heart that these white people felt so low about their biracial grandson they put him up for adoption. But yet negroes climb all over themselves to be with white women. –Now this same uncle I always thought he was so high cl*****. he was an engineer, he was paid, drove a nice car, had a huge house. But when he finally married at 42, he married a white woman. I remember literally crying when I met my Aunt Helga. Of course, I got use to her and do love her, but I resented it. When she told me they were divorcing, I was laughing on the inside(I know pure evil). –I don’t know if he ever actually said it, but I got the impression that he thought black women were beneath him. –also, ***** it, i don’t know u and you’ll never meet me, but I’m going to reveal it all. My grandfather, who grew up in the segregated south with my grandmother who he knew since childhood, have two secret children by a white woman. Yes, his old player ***** have biracial kids that are a little older than me. When I found that out, my grandma told me and showed me pictures, I couldn’t look at him straight anymore. –All this white women worship happened during my high school years when all the black boys I went to school with were falling over white girls. I don’t know if you’ll catch this response because the thread is rather old but I feel what you were saying and everyoneas experiences are different and in your case I can see where it relates to the issue. I’m born of a mixed race couple(Dad white, Mom black) in Louisiana but raised in South Central L.A..My father and his family marched along side King and were avid supporters of civil rights and are still active to this day fighting for fairness and equality. I’m over 50 so if I told you of the things I was witness to it would overwhelm you. I saw bitterness and racial divide within my own family not to mention those who lived around us. I saw my father on more occasions than I can remember kick a muffugas ***** for disrespecting my mother be it a brutha calling her a honkey lover or a whiteman calling her a ***** lover…he demanded respect for his wife plain and simple. My parents nutured all 12 kids to be strong, independant thinkers free of predjudices and biases towards other groups, seses, races and religions. In saying all of that to give the back ground as to why my daughter born and raised in Cali feels as she does, her living example of interracial coupling are her grandparents and their history which has always been a positive one based on mutual love and respect.

Why is she even getting press? I have know this nasty hoe since 7th grade and somebody needs to put her on blast. She actually for the longest had Bobby and Thurman Thomas (Buffalo Bills) thinking her daughter was theirs. Thurman was paying this hoe money to keep her quiet cuz he has a real family. You should have seen her every time he came to town. Then she got a DNA test and found out the girl was Bobby’s. She is just a hoe that laid down with Shawn Kemp for money. Please stop wasting print on her!

Thanks for your response. I actually was checking back to see if u replied. I understand that u have a positive view of interracial relationships and I respect your story. I have a thing for our collective past, so thanks for giving me a new perspective. I do believe that people of different races can have successful loving relationships. But I’m no fool and I know black people have internalized alot of those awful stereotypes about us. Listen to some of the things that come out of some of these people’s mouths. I just wish that we loved each other more. Instead of racing to fit the white man’s standards.–I’ll work on my anger on this issue and try to channel my energy into a more positive, constructive conversation. –catch u on another post.

Our family has set back and let Nikki tell a bunch of lies that went unchecked. It’s about time that we set things straight. Let’s start with their daughter. After their relationship ended Nikki decided to say that Bobby wasn’t the father. Bobby had a paternity test ordered which Nikki didn’t show up for the first two times. Bobby was found to be the father not the ex-buffalo bills football player. In fact he was granted custody of their daughter in 2006. Nikki didn’t return their daughter to Bobby after he let her visit for Christmas that year.
During the custody battle for their daughter no abuse was brought up. The only abuse that we know about came from an ex who played for the Texas Rangers and her current boyfriend the singer . If Bobby stalker and abusive person she said he was, why would she let her son around him? Her son isn’t Bobby’s and he would spend time at Bobby’s house.
The sad thing is Nikki is trying to get fame from a tragic situation.

I laughed cus I told my boy I saw them hikin together @ runyon canyon & he was trippin cus he swore up n down he saw em @ highlands @ movies n dinner. we was wonderin same thing if they thought they was invisible but mickey mouse publicity is hela funny way to put it
