Zashia Santiago Pled Guilty To Stealing Patient Info For Phony Tax Refund Scam

Safaree Samuels new girlfriend is a convicted felon who lost her healthcare license after admitting she stole her patients private info, BOSSIP has learned.

And the beautiful former nursing assistant may be headed to the slammer after she was re-arrested in May for violating her probation.

Model Zashia Santiago pled guilty in 2013 to one count of felony possession of 15 or more unauthorized access devices after she copped to swiping 20 hospital patient’s names, dates of birth, social security numbers and addresses.

Santiago’s boss at Baptist Health System called the feds on her after she got caught with a list of patient’s private information, according court documents filed in U.S. District Court. Santiago admitted to a federal agent that she stole her patient’s information in order to give it a man, Cristobal Puig, who was going to file fake tax returns with them. Santiago said Puig promised her $200 to $500 per patient once the tax money came through.

She took a plea deal, and was sentenced to three years probation, 100 hours of community service and a $100 fine. Had she gone to trial, she would’ve faced up to 10 years in prison.

As a result of the guilty plea, the Homestead, Fl. resident lost her license as a certified nursing assistant.

Nicki Minaj’s ex went public with his relationship with the 25-year-old stunner earlier this month. BOSSIP’s attempts to reach Santiago were unsuccessful.

Santiago is due back in court in August for her probation violation hearing.
