British Singer Disses Bey

Bey got dissed by this new British starlet. She’s an up and coming singer from the UK who told Bey that she wasn’t down to be her opening act. Pop the hood for more

Beyonce has revealed that she asked X Factor winner Alexandra Burke to support her on tour, but the singer was unable to take up the offer.

Despite being a huge fan of Knowles and even duetting with her during the contest finale, Burke had to reject the chance of a lifetime due to her own work commitments, as Beyonce explains.

“She’s so talented and beautiful and her voice is so soulful.” Contactmusic quotes the ‘Halo’ singer as saying. “Actually, I wanted her to open my tour for me, but she hadn’t finished her album, so she couldn’t do it.”

Alexandra is currently in the US recording her debut, which is expected in the Autumn.

We know that didn’t go over well with Bey’s camp. This Alexandra chick is bold.

If Beyonce see your potential she tries to make you play second fiddle to her so no one will ever see you as anything other than Beyonce support act…Just ask kelly and Michelle..Jay z is the same if they feel a threat they befriend you..The best thing Rihanna did was keep distance from Beyonce at the begging if she didnt she would have been another casualty..Go Alex dont fall into The knowles trap!!! Oh, and Bossip staff MUST have white writers because I think they get our terminology misconstrued.

Dissed in THIS context means that she simply (and politely) turned down an offer because of her OWN obligations.

Dissed in most other situations means that someone used negative statements and/or profanity to try and demean you as a person.

At least thats my opinion.

Beyonce was amazing on monday night in London btw.

Alexandra would probably lick Beyonce’s feet if she could, but how can you open for someone when you have no material? She is recording her album and has only released the winner’s single from the show she won back in December. She’ll probably wanna release at least one more single (or her album) before she thinks about going out on the road with a show like Bey’s.

She is in the U.S. so she cannot join the european part of Beyonce’s tour.

You are absolutely right. That’s exactly what Beyounce’s camp does! When she feels threatened by competition she tries to befriend them. It’s a psychological thing. She did the same thing with Shakira. Shakira had her trademark belly dancing thing going and on and what did Beyounce do? Show everyone that she could do it better! LOL!

I doubt seriously Alexandra had prior commitments. She just didn’t want any part of that. I don’t blame her.

Rhianna’s smart to stay away. Beyounce maybe a better dancer and singer but Rhianna looks better, dresses better, and gets just as much attention as Beyounce does….even before the Chris Brown thing.

Couple weeks ago they did a story about Beyonce supposedly dissing a museum by sending a double in her place. That was a complete lie. Bossip even admitted buried in the story that it was a radio station that sent over the lookalike as a prank, not Beyonce. But the headline clearly said Beyonce did it as some diva hissy fit.
Black celebs have a hard enough time in Hollywood. Why does the biggest black gossip site persist in posting lies and falsehoods about them?

This site really sucks with it’s Headline of stories, now how is that dissing Beyonce. Although I’m not a Beyonce fan, I think it was gracious that she even asked the young lady to be her opening act, although being her opening act would expose this young ladies fans to Beyonce, a business move on her part, but if she had other commitments to her own career, why would she not do her own stint. I tell you, the writer of these stories need to move away from the keyboard.
