Nas is a No-Show at Canadian Concert

Nas has enough drama going down with his messy divorce splashed all over the place, now he has unprofessional rapper to add to the list. Supposedly, Nas was booked to perform at a concert in Canada on Saturday but failed to appear which angered the concertgoers. Check out Nas’ explanation of what happened:

I had this show booked for sometime now and found it interesting to see St John Canada since I never had been there, and heard great things. So we decided, let’s do it real quick and get warmed up for Rock The Bells! So, I didn’t expect no f*ckery but was quickly reminded how things like this still happen to people in the game!!!!!lol

Bad business is bad business! Every now and again artists are asked to travel to another country to do their thing!!!! But instead they arrive and are met by some strange people and instead of doing REAL BUSINESS..these “JP’s” are saying they have insufficient funds!!!!!

After 3 hrs at customs and once I finally get to them I’m told they have a insufficient amount of money. Now I don’t usually leave my crib unless all the business is handled first. But I love my fans in Canada so I said COOL. But of course it wasn’t COOL.

Had no paper and they cancelled our rooms and left us at the airport stranded. So we what we had to do and did was get up out of there. But to all of Canada make sure u know I roll with ya HARD!! Its all love.

My advice to wanna be promoters anywhere they are…. Take business serious….
Learn about being professional. Always. Its very important to be real with people. Don’t continue to pull these 1950 style ways of doin business. Its wack.

Anyway, thanks for ya time people . Rock the bells coming soon!!! Get ready, headlined by myself and damian marley. With our joint lp soon to follow!

Nas must be thirsty to take a deal like that without the $$$ deposited. Jigga nem don’t do shyt like that. And Bossip stop talkin about this dudes marraige, we don’t know what happened. Bossip writers and story tellers, I’ve said it before and I’ve said it again.. you are the disaster and embarr*****ment for the African American community.

You are not a leader nor inspiration to anyone and need to take a look in the mirror and decide if you can actively contribute to society instead of writing absolute junk day after day.

It’s fun to joke around but when you have the eyes and ears of many, it’s time to accept responsibility and provide well written, truthful postings. Not the made up, ignorant and disrespectful nonsense that defines this site.

The reason there is insufficient funds is cause Nas ain’t selling out the venues. Did his album even go gold? Nas took the deal cause there ain’t a lot of places calling him to perform.

Kill-iLL-Lights, what are you talking about God’s son is an homage to Rakim who nas was heavily influenced by, who was also called Rakim the God, or Rakim Allah, or Ra (Egyptian God), Rakim having come from a 5 percenter background, and as we wlell know they believe the blackman to be God meataphorically)so by Nas calling himself God son its basically referring to what people have been saying since he came out, which is that he adopted Rakims style.
