There is a possibility that Ashanti may be joining G-Unit:
50 Cent may be helping Ashanti plot revenge on Murder Inc. capo Irv Gotti. The songstress has been furious that her label’s boss wouldn’t deny rumors that they’d had an affair.
“She was pissed. And now 50 Cent is trying to get her to be a part of G-Unit.”
50 hasn’t always been flattering toward Ashanti. He told Playboy that “her music is not the hottest sh*t in the world.”
Well at least that is something that we concur with Bugsy on…definitely not the hot sh*t.

As for the article, I think its just a rumor. If it’s not I hope she doesn’t go through with it. They have been *****g her for the longest mainly because of her *****ociation with Ja Rule. He and 50 always had beef. I know her career has gone downhill but she doesn’t have to stoop this low and lose her dignity. Besides 50 is not hot like he use to be so signing with them will not guarantee that she will have another hit CD. With the right producers she could bring out something decent the next time around. She’s not the worst songwriter out there. She just needs someone to be real and tell her for find another main lyric besides ‘baby.’
