Nope sorry don’t know much about horses and their broekn limbs etc. Not my field of choice obviously…maybe i’ll look it up but what I did see was the documentary done on race horses…Maybe you should check that out. On top of that their are hospitals for horses out there and there are horses that have had shattered limbs etc. fixed….I get it depends on the circumstance and how much an owner is willing to spend. Other than that PETA still has done nothing for the horses that get sent to slaughter houses because they lose a race…That’s pretty much why you only see the winner and runner up at the KEntucky Derby the following year. I read that NY Times story this weekend — it was excellent. I hadn’t heard of some of those cases, and there were photos of the officers online. Yes, there’s a long history of tragic deaths and injuries of black and Hispanic officers, and no legal retribution.
