Shaq Headed to Phoenix

Shaquille O’Neal has officially been traded from the Miami Heat to the Phoenix Suns:
The Phoenix Suns acquired Shaquille O’Neal in a stunning, blockbuster deal that sent four-time All-Star Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks to the Miami Heat. The improbable pairing of the speedy Suns and the slow but once-mighty O’Neal became official when he cleared a physical exam Wednesday.
After being in the league for 14 seasons, Shaq needs to ride this thing until the wheels fall off. Now he has something to take his mind off of Shaunie and her stacks.

Shaq wasnt acquired for the regular season. He was acquired for the playoffs when things slow down. Hes gonna be a BEAST come April. Watch out Spurs and Fakers. Gaysol is soft, and BI-num is too young.

Bad move for the Phoenix suns because although I love Shaq, he’s not physically fit to run with the Suns. He’s too slow and he stays hurt. But probably a great move for Shaq because I know he’s getting paid big bucks for that move!

This is either an incredibly brilliant move, or else Steve Kerr will be unemployed come May 1st. Then again, Kevin McHale makes similarly stupid trades and HE’S not gone, so I guess Steve has nothing to worry about.
Never quite understood why Marion was so upset with the Suns. Did he expect to become Option 1 and Stoudamire or Steve be Option 2? The guy was paid like a star – I don’t get the discontent. Oh well, he’ll get all the touches he wants down there in Miami – just no playoff money!
Shaq is making a smart move. He has not allowed his personal issues to cloud his judgement and I wish him the best.

Shawn Marion & Marcus Banks for Shaq? Talk about breaking up the band. Marion was one of the key players for the suns while Shaq has had multiple injuries, it seems that when one injury heals he goes and gets another. That was one of the worst trades EVER. The Suns are going to regret it, wait and see. The Suns are a stacked team, I dont think they need Shaq at all. I am a huge fan of the Suns, but with Shaq on the team now, he just kind of ruins it. He better not come to PHX and think he is going to be the star and leader of the team. Like I said, were already stacked and He is NOT needed.
