Charles Barkley mentions that he does not want support from “Messy Jesse” or “Permed Up Al” when he runs for governor of Alabama:

“I don’t believe in them. They always play the race card, and you can’t always play the race card. Sometimes the race card is needed but not in every situation. We have to hold blacks more accountable for their actions.”

    first!

  • Strong Black Man

    Charles is a bama..

  • shoeluva

i agree whole heartedly with charles.

  • Ms. Lovely

Sometimes the race card is needed but not in every situation. We have to hold blacks more accountable for their actions.

I have to co-sign with Barkley on that note.

Just in regards to that quote, he could be a total ass behind the scenes.

  • Strong Black Man

I agree with him..Jesse and Al are poverty pimps, but charles barkley is a sucka

  • bree

well Al Sharpton has some really soft hands, im talkin baby soft..

    & Charles i don’t believe in them either..p.s. are you Dwyane(sp) Wade’s father?..lololol

  • Ms. Lovely

    @ Tip

Where can I read about that.

  • http://www.myspace.com/birdshu Bird

I have always been on the same page as Charles when it comes to this topic. The boy ain’t dumb.

  • Ms. Lovely

    ‘Poverty Pimps’

    LOL

    I’m using that one.

  • young

whos responsible for doin the screening of who becomes governor nowdays first we get swarzaneggar here in cali now this negro here wanna be governor of alabama. I guess u aint gotta know nothing bout running a state to be governor

  • da darkness

support hah. now the states black women are really going to be left behind, hello

  • Little Wing

    I agree with Charles.

  • justme

    Chuck has a point!

  • Black to tha Bone

Mad props to Sir Charles. He is an ambitious go getter with a legendary white girl game.

  • tj

Oh Please. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have far more experience than Charles Barkley. If throwing a basketball around makes someone a Governor then Michael Jordan should be president.

    THese athletes are such megalomaniacs.

  • Nyeve

Charles is right and its time we started calling out our leaders in order for them to become more responsible. Jesse Jackson less so but Al Sharpton is riddiculous. My husband calls him Juanita Sharpton-Weekes. He’s just like Rev Weekes, using a noble cause as a career opportunity. He makes the issue of our race into a national joke. Anything to do with black people it becomes the standard thing in the press “The Reverend Al Sharpton has raised objections to the use of the phrase ‘blackboard’ “. No one takes it seriously when we are discriminated against. ” oh you know what those blacks are like, always playing the race card or calling in Al Sharpton”

  • NotoriousOne

I definitely don’t agree w/ Barkley on a lot of the stuff he says but on this one he’s definitely on point.

@ Strong Black Man…you killin’ it w/ “Poverty Pimp” that’s the sad a*s truth though.

  • memchee

Charles is a bit out of touch…….fully brained washed by the media.

However, Jesse’s image as portrayed in the media is his own fault.

Anyone who watched the Katrina media barrage would have a helluva lot more respect for Al, Jesse and the NAACP.

Yes, Charles needs to take a seat.

  • cystal

The media is going to have a field day with this and I don’t blame them actually. It is all over the news in Dallas/Ft. Worth (WFAA).Watch and see, it is simply a matter of time before these poster boy thugs are jailed for killing somebody. I don’t give a damn what that whiteboy said to them, six should not jump on and beat down one. Since when do Black men fight so dirty.

  • Jane Doe

I agree with Charles. Black Folks ALWAYS play the race card….ALWAYS!!

  • PATHETIC!

    READ THE STORY ON SANDRAROSE.COM

  • capt’n backslap

I kinda hope he loses, so he can stay on “Inside the NBA” he’s the funniest dude on TV now that “The Office” is on strike…..

  • da darkness

the black people of today so many think they are in power. these black men…….feds after one, t-mobile my fav five comedian, and one has aledged of having ties with the hit of dr. king jr. (source: 89.3fm atl)

  • gAzZmAtIc

aS MUCH AS ‘CRYBABY BARKELY’ GETS ON MY NERVES… i ACTUALLY AGREE WITH HIM ON THIS. jESSE NEEDS TO WORRY ABOUT HIS OUT OF WEDLOCK KIDS AND sHARPTON NEEDS TO WORRY ABOUT THE DRYNESS OF HIS ‘LORD JESUS PERM!’. THEY PLAY THAT RACE CARD TO DEATH! wHO IN THE HELL GAVE THEM THE ok TO REPRESENT BLACK PEOPLE EVERTIME THERE IS A RACIAL CRISIS GOING ON? THEM NEGROS DONT SPEAK FOR ME!!!

  • Black, yet very well educated

The Jena 6 thugs are a disgrace. Never will get behind such a stupid cause. We just continue to drag ourselves through the mud looking like violent out of control savages.

  • Racer X

Charles has hit the nail on the head. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson will probably Bulldoze there way in somehow, if and when charles does run for governor of Alabama. They should just stay out of his way.

  • http://www.myspace.com/brownloislane brownbarbie

Barkley needs to sit his white woman lovin a$$ down! He is kind of right, though. lol!

  • AL Sharpton

I agree with Charles. I suck and so does Jesse. These cats are extortionists.

And to the people who are proud of the way I handled the Jena situation, you need to be reminded that it was a radio DJ who got that ball rolling and put the structure in place. But as usual I was there to snatch the microphones and talk my divisive nonsense.

Shame on me for my wack perm and for not apologizing when I am wrong and for not repping other ethnicities who are victims of race-based crimes (it ain’t just black people)

  • Big Al Sharpton

“One of the Jenna six defendants was arrested this morning for assaulting another student in Dallas.”

Naaw, that can’t be. Those boys were just perfect little snowflakes and cuddly angel dumplings trying to hold their heads up under the boot of oppression and the “justice” system run by the cracKKKas.

Fight the power. Free Huey. March for Jena. OJ was framed.

Now, if you’d all just get out your checkbooks…

  • BG

I ACTUALLY AGREE W/ CHARLES ON THAT STATEMENT OF BLACK PEOPLE BEING HELD MORE ACCOUNTABLE. AND THAT JENA SIX KID FIGHTING IN TEXAS IS UNFORTUNATE. HE OBVIOUSLY DIDN’T UNDERSTAND THAT HE REPRESENTED SOMETHING BIGGER THAN HIMSELF.

  • miss thang

I agree with YOU TJ. Even though it doesn’t seem like a popular sentiment in here…Al and Jesse Jackson are NOT the problem. I will never get why Black people hate them so much. It reminds me of the stories I’d hear about how Blacks hated Martin Luther King because he ‘drew too much attention’ to them. I may be the minority but I appreciate the efforts of these men no matter what. They are both smart and they could’ve chosen another life path instead of defending the rights of unappreciative Black people! I know alot of people who would have just given up under the pressure of ridicule from the very people they are trying to protect. They are not perfect but at least they are doing something besides sittin on they azz complaining about the people who hate them AND the people who love them.

It also cracks me up to see so many BLACKS defending a man who HAS NEVER HAD ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE. Barkley has been hated by whites for EVER until he started taking on their views of what ALL (not a small segment) Black people are like. What gives him the right? He did not garner success by way of a vast education, labor, or hardwork. He has what he has because he was a decent athlete with an opinionated colorful personality and that is it. You better believe that he doesn’t want the support of Black people either he just won’t come right out and say it so early….

Think about it…he isn’t refusing the endorsements of Bill O’Reilly or Rush Limbaugh. Ask yourself why…

  • Marcy

i agree with charles. only time u c them is when its something thats big in the news and they want to show their faces!! support something else than showing your faces on tv. al sharpton just had a party at a club!! your a pastor right?? whatever!!!!!

  • K

BARKLEY IS A DUMB AS HE SOUNDS WHEN HE’S TALKING…

    LIKE A DUMB BUBBA ROCK

  • Li’l Sharp Alton

Fine, fine. Don’t get your perm in a frazzle, you huckster.

  • K

LEARN HOW TO SPEAK BEFORE YOU RUN FOR ANYTHING…

    BIG DUMB-SOUNDING BOOB

  • uncsweetcheeks

i agree with charles. actually i think messy jesse and al hurt us more than help us in some situations. we have to be accountable people

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=686566290 Re

I’m not sure what qualifies Charles Barkley to run (we’ll find out soon, I’m sure), but I COMPLETLEY agree with him. You can always count on Al Sharpton for support in the black community, but its really becoming misguided now…someone get him some new gators cause I’m sure the others are worn out from all that damn marching….

  • miss thang

btw, NO ONE plays the race card more than Barkley. He is not even gracious with it. A true example of a black politician not playing the race card is BARACK OBAMA. EVERYTIME Barkley writes a book, a speech, or is quoted saying something ANYTHING he has to bring up Black people and how rotten he thinks they are. Like WTF? The birth of this man is one of the worst things that could have happened to Black people because he is constantly putting us down even when our crime rates, teen pregnancies, college dropout, and drug abuse rates ARE DOWN! I can’t stand his lumpy potato headed uncle fester pervert-mustache man-boobs rocking ass!

  • Kelli

Damn…I thought I’d never say this..but Charles Barkley is right. ***looking out my window for flying pigs**

  • http://www.haitianflex.com www.haitianflex.com

I agree with you miss thang, Barkley should stick to basket-ball and white chicks!

  • Dee

Is this the same brother that once said a part of the reason he didn’t date black women is because they smell?…next!

  • Angel_Minded

    Lol -

While I agree that he shouldn’t have brought up Al & Jesse, it doesn’t take away from the fact that he has a very valid point. Ok, I get that some people don’t like Charles, b/c he married a white woman–although what that has to do w/ anything is beyond me–and b/c they think he’s a sell out. But black people do play the race card all the time! Lol, it’s like crying wolf–they yell and scream racism about something as stupid as Paris Hilton going to jail, and then when Jena 6 occurs–our arguements fall on death ears (initially).

  • STEFANY

    K, I agree with you,

I don’t always agree with Al & Jesse’s tatics but Charles sure is hell isn’t qualified to lead no damn body…He’s alway quick to talk about how messed up black people are but never address why and how we got that way and how we are still suffering.

  • Look at me

    i agree with Charles statement.

    @STEFANY

Its not about what you know anymore. Its about money, populrity, and talking like you got some sense. It dont take much to get a seat in Congress. Look at the terminator, the wrestler Jesse Ventura, and Steve largent the football player. Hell I might even run one day.

  • Lauren

    Mornin ya’ll!

GO CHUCK!!! TELL THEM GREASY HEAD FAKE POLITICIANS TO BACK OFF!

  • grace

I agree with him..Jesse and Al are poverty pimps…

    ************************************************

That is too funny. I cosign on that! This is the first time I ever agreed with Charles. Al Sharpton want to be Martin Luther King, Jr so bad. He is a self appointed civil rights leader that always find time between playing the race card to hang out at celebrity parties. Not even celebs of his generation like Patty or Gladys. No, he wants to hang with Jay-z and Piddy. The very people who have PIMPED our kids to the point where they only admire blacks who required wealth through entertainment. Our kids look down on blacks who gained wealth through education and hard work. That’s called “Acting white or talking white”

  • Just_Wanna_Know

Preach on! I’m not feeling either of our ‘leaders.’ What exactly is it they do that gets them a check? That’s all its about at this point anyway, money. They get compensated for other peoples hardship. I haven’t been feeling Jesse since he made the comment that if he’s walking down the street and someone’s behind him, he’s relieved if the person is white? I mean really, does he think only people of color commit crimes? SMDH again.

  • Just Sit And Be Pretty

In other news: According to CNN, Mitt Romney set to announce that he is suspending his campaign.

Guess he doesn’t want to keep spending millions of his own dough when it’ll be futile.

  • gimime a break

    vote for charles barkley

but he actually right these two

    basically preach racism

    the martin kings wannabe

  • S Dot

I have to agree with that one!

  • Moomoo

Is this the same brother that once said a part of the reason he didn’t date black women is because they smell?…next!

    ^^^^

    *DEAD*

  • The JACK OFF Artist…

I’M WITH YOU CHARLES FORGET THEM LAME NIGGERS THEY SET NEGROS BACK… FORGET THEM AND THAT bet NIGGER

THEY ARE NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR BLACK PEOPLE YA DONT NEED THEM CRABS ANYWAY

  • Finally

Finally someone who feels like i do….Al and Jesse are hypocrites!!!!

  • C

    Well said,Charles.

  • bissiB

I agree that every situation isn’t racial but at least Sharpton and Jackson support black people. All white people don’t get along but they will stick together and support each other. Charles Barkley is a phony and an opportunist. Remember all the nasty comments he made publically about black females? Just because he fell for a few tricks he thinks all black women are trifling? Is his mother not black? He talks to irresponisbly to be taken serious. If they elect that asshole governer of any state I’m moving to Uganda. F**K Barkley.

  • FLYYGIRL

Well ole boy from Jena thought someone slashed his tires and assulted him he is suspended 3 days and 10 days in school suspension… I live in Dallas and I know when I was going to school in Carrollton we had a zero tolerance programs people who fight get arrested first and ask questions later… I believe thats how it should go down. you shouldn’t be fighting in school neway… Thats a shame all those people marching for injustice in jena then he comes her to start more trouble…. But yea the Dallas media is not a friend to black people esp when they do something wrong I swear they leave their pictures up longer when reporting their crimes esp when that whole Michael Irvin thing went down 10 yrs ago channel 5 (NBC) was on that…

  • Kurt Eric Munroe

I agree with Sir Charles. He has to run a modern campaign. If we expect to see more minorities running for higher office they have to keep on the road of broader vision. That is not to say ignore certain issues, but to look at the independent variables that impact the issues. It is reasonable.

When the country and the nature of political-economic competition changes we must revise our perspectives or we will become outdated in thought and behavior.

Whether or not Obama wins the White House we will have to continue stepping up our global image for political and economic gains. POWER.

  • I Don’t follow I Lead

Criticism of Jessie and Al coming from one of the most ignorant, inarticulate baffoon’s currently sitting in a sports anchor chair is laughable. This is a man that other than being an average athelete has never contributed anything of relevance to society, black or otherwise. He talks about Mr. Jackson and Mr. Sharpton, yet he fails to recognize how he is tolerated because he stand for nothing of substance other than the next golf game, night of gambling or some inarticulate poorly stated rant that he has trouble spitting out on TNT. Don’t worry Charles I’m sure Al or Jessie would not come out to support your bid to become Gov. Alabama, they probably think even less of you than you do of them

  • JEANNIE

    TELL UM’ bissiB.

    EDUCATE THESE PEOPLE.

  • JEANNIE

    I LOVE IT….

    tell um’ IDontFollowILead and BlackSistasGotItGoingOn

glad to see some people are not sleeping….

  • Shawn08

I really do not like Barkley as a black man most times, but I do believe in what he is saying.

I really don’t like Jesse, but Al gets my support in the fact that he will stand up for what is right no matter whose opposed. What I don’t like about both Jesse & Al is the fact that you have to put out big money just to have them speak on right verses wrong. I never knew righteous acts cost…

  • ResearchDONE

I am so hoping he runs for Gov. I live in Alabama and I would probably vote for him. Although, I like our current Gov.

  • Black Sistas got it go n on!

I LOVE YOU KENNY! READ MY STUFF I AGREE WITH YOU 200% BLACK PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!

  • Black Sistas got it go n on!

    KENNY

    READ MYSTUFF TOO YOUR AWESOME!

  • Look at me

We dont need Al a Jesse to speak up for us, we can do it ourselves. Start first by investing more time in our own black families, and mentor those children who are not our family. Most of the problems we have today are because of lack of family and support of our own. We invest our time and money in other things except our families. Thats why other racial groups prosper after they are long gone because they leave investments and real estate for their families

  • Common Sense

Could someone please give me a SOURCE, other than some half-a$$ed blog, that proves Charles said those things about black women? You people are so guillible. I heard Tommy Hilfiger told Oprah he hates black people on her show……

Charles is right. Black people need to make other black people (starting with their children) more accountable. Jena 6 is a perfect example. We looked for every possible racial angle to absolve those boys, when in reality, we should have called it like it was, a bunch of illiterate thugs who lacked the sophistication to know you can’t beat up some ignorant cracker 6 on 1 in a racially segregated southern town…..6 ON 1…and we hold marches for these fools.

I also find it hilarious that some of you jump to point out that he dates white women. So that somehow disqualifies him from being concerned with the black race? Really? Instead of creating a straw man to attack, why don’t you attack what he said.

For all the so-called good Al Sharton has done, he’s done 10000x worse in his Tawana Brawley routine. THERE IS REAL RACISM IN THE WORLD, but you dilute the perception of it when you cry wolf over the Jena 6′s and the Tawana Brawley’s of the world. So when NY cops shot an unarmed African man 41 times, the rest of the world, white, latino, asian, looks at it and goes: “oh man, there’s those race hustlers going on about nothing again.”

THAT’S the danger of the race card and THAT’S the damage Jesse and Al have done. Pick your F-ing battles, and research who you march for. I would have burnt $ before I ever donated it to some Jena 6 defense fund.

  • joka

Jesse goes to the highest bidder. He makes a big loud stink of things to up the amount of ‘hush’ money he will get. He stops by the company I work with once a year to pick up a check.

  • RU$$

Tom’s used to say the same about MLK back in the day.

  • Look at me

    ^^^good point common sense

  • Lube and a Tube Sock

If you a hater and you know it, kill yourself

  • joka

RU$$, there is a big difference in MLK and Jesse and Al.

  • Common Sense

    @RU$$

Comparing what MLK was up against in the 50′s and 60′s to today is F-ing hilarious. If you said those things about MLK you WERE a Tom because they were up against some real sh*t. I think lynchings, jim crow laws, and segregation are a bit more serious than, “oh I can’t get a cab” or ‘I got followed in a store.” or “I can’t believe that want to punish our dear boys for beating up a kid 6 on 1.”

I am not trying to say that racism does not exist, it’s alive and well, and will be here long after we have a black president, etc. As long as people are different and as long as there are stupid people, that sh*t will continue.

But how bout some perspective. You want to know what racism and injustice truly are, ask a black person older than 50 (especially one that lived in the south). Jesse and Al are about as much like MLK as Mike Tyson is like Mohammed Ali, both are black…..

BLACK PEOPLE PLEASE LETS TAKE THIS ADVISE PLEEEEEEASE.

    ***Same issues…Different Day***

12 Things The Negro Must Do For Himself

    by Nannie Helen Burroughs

    (Circa Early 1900′s)

    1. The Negro Must Learn To Put First Things First. The First Things Are: Education; Development of Character Traits; A Trade and Home Ownership.

    · The Negro puts too much of his earning in clothes, in food, in show and in having what he calls “a good time.” The Dr. Kelly Miller said, “The Negro buys what he WANTS and begs for what he needs.”

    2. The Negro Must Stop Expecting God and White Folk To Do For Him What He Can Do For Himself.

    · It is the “Divine Plan” that the strong shall help the weak, but even God does not do for man what man can do for himself. The Negro will have to do exactly what Jesus told the man (in John 5:8) to do–Carry his own load–”Take up your bed and walk.”

    3. The Negro Must Keep Himself, His Children And His Home Clean And Make The Surroundings In Which He Lives Comfortable and Attractive.

    · He must learn to “run his community up”–not down. We can segregate by law, we integrate only by living. Civilization is not a matter of race, it is a matter of standards. Believe it or not–some day, some race is going to outdo the Anglo-Saxon, completely. It can be the Negro race, if the Negro gets sense enough. Civilization goes up and down that way.

    4. The Negro Must Learn To Dress More Appropriately For Work And For Leisure.

    · Knowing what to wear–how to wear it–when to wear it and where to wear it, are earmarks of common sense, culture and also an index to character.

    5. The Negro Must Make His Religion An Everyday Practice And Not Just A Sunday-Go-To-Meeting Emotional Affair.

    6. The Negro Must Highly Resolve To Wipe Out Mass Ignorance.

    · The leaders of the race must teach and inspire the masses to become eager and determined to improve mentally, morally and spiritually, and to meet the basic requirements of good citizenship.

    · We should initiate an intensive literacy campaign in America, as well as in Africa. Ignorance– satisfied ignorance –is a millstone about the neck of the race. It is democracy’s greatest burden.

    · Social integration is a relationship attained as a result of the cultivation of kindred social ideals, interests and standards.

    · It is a blending process that requires time, understanding and kindred purposes to achieve. Likes alone and not laws can do it.

    7. The Negro Must Stop Charging His Failures Up To His “Color” And To White People’s Attitude.

    · The truth of the matter is that good service and conduct will make senseless race prejudice fade like mist before the rising sun.

    · God never intended that a man’s color shall be anything other than a badge of distinction . It is high time that all races were learning that fact. The Negro must first QUALIFY for whatever position he wants. Purpose, initiative, ingenuity and industry are the keys that all men use to get what they want. The Negro will have to do the same. He must make himself a workman who is too skilled not to be wanted, and too DEPENDABLE not to be on the job, according to promise or plan. He will never become a vital factor in industry until he learns to put into his work the vitalizing force of initiative, skill and dependability. He has gone “RIGHTS” mad and “DUTY” dumb.

    8. The Negro Must Overcome His Bad Job Habits.

    · He must make a brand new reputation for himself in the world of labor. His bad job habits are absenteeism, funerals to attend, or a little business to look after. The Negro runs an off and on business. He also has a bad reputation for conduct on the job–such as petty quarreling with other help, incessant loud talking about nothing; loafing, carelessness, due to lack of job pride; insolence, gum chewing and–too often–liquor drinking. Just plain bad job habits!

    9. He Must Improve His Conduct In Public Places.

    · Taken as a whole, he is entirely too loud and too ill-mannered.

    · There is much talk about wiping out racial segregation and also much talk about achieving integration.

    · Segregation is a physical arrangement by which people are separated in various services.

    · It is definitely up to the Negro to wipe out the apparent justification or excuse for segregation.

    · The only effective way to do it is to clean up and keep clean. By practice, cleanliness will become a habit and habit becomes character.

    10. The Negro Must Learn How To Operate Business For People–Not For Negro People, Only.

    · To do business, he will have to remove all typical “earmarks,” business principles; measure up to accepted standards and meet stimulating competition, graciously–in fact, he must learn to welcome competition.

    11. The Average So-Called Educated Negro Will Have To Come Down Out Of The Air. He Is Too Inflated Over Nothing. He Needs An Experience Similar To The One That Ezekiel Had–(Ezekiel 3:14-19). And He Must Do What Ezekiel Did

    · Otherwise, through indifference, as to the plight of the masses, the Negro, who thinks that he has escaped, will lose his own soul. It will do all leaders good to read Hebrew 13:3, and the first Thirty-seven Chapters of Ezekiel.

    · A race transformation itself through its own leaders and its sensible “common people.” A race rises on its own wings, or is held down by its own weight. True leaders are never “things apart from the people.” They are the masses. They simply got to the front ahead of them. Their only business at the front is to inspire to masses by hard work and noble example and challenge them to “Come on!” Dante stated a fact when he said, “Show the people the light and they will find the way!”

    · There must arise within the Negro race a leadership that is not out hunting bargains for itself. A noble example is found in the men and women of the Negro race, who, in the early days, laid down their lives for the people. Their invaluable contributions have not been appraised by the “latter-day leaders.” In many cases, their names would never be recorded, among the unsung heroes of the world, but for the fact that white friends have written them there.

“Lord, God of Hosts, Be with us yet.”

    · The Negro of today does not realize that, but, for these exhibits A’s, that certainly show the innate possibilities of members of their own race, white people would not have been moved to make such princely investments in lives and money, as they have made, for the establishment of schools and for the on-going of the race.

    12. The Negro Must Stop Forgetting His Friends. “Remember.”

    · Read Deuteronomy 24:18. Deuteronomy rings the big bell of gratitude. Why? Because an ingrate is an abomination in the sight of God. God is constantly telling us that “I the Lord thy God delivered you” –through human instrumentalities.

    · The American Negro has had and still has friends–in the North and in the South. These friends not only pray, speak, write, influence others, but make unbelievable, unpublished sacrifices and contributions for the advancement of the race–for their brothers in bonds.

    · The noblest thing that the Negro can do is to so live and labor that these benefactors will not have given in vain. The Negro must make his heart warm with gratitude, his lips sweet with thanks and his heart and mind resolute with purpose to justify the sacrifices and stand on his feet and go forward– “God is no respector of persons. In every nation, he that feareth him and worketh righteousness is” sure to win out. Get to work! That’s the answer to everything that hurts us. We talk too much about nothing instead of redeeming the time by working.

    R-E-M-E-M-B-E-R

    * In spite of race prejudice, America is brim full of opportunities. Go after them!

And, this was written in the early 1900 ‘s! The more things change the more they stay the same.

How are black people going to start holding other people accountable, let alone their children, if we don’t hold themselves accountable. Each Black person should set the example be holding them self accountable before expecting someone else to, including our children.

  • VeeZee

But Charles Barkley IS the truth. I stand with him 100%.

  • Common Sense

    @Black Sistas,

Dear, if you want to be taken seriously by anyone other than your momma and the uneduated/barely literate, how bout writing in a manner that doesn’t sound like a coon. I can barely look at what you type because it’s all in caps and it’s its unintelligible.

WAIT! I just saw that you wrote you’re a teacher?!?!?!?

Well F-me, you want to know what black youth are failing, this rocket scientist is teaching them. I know you don’t teach at a predominantly white HS because they’d never let you near the chalk board with your amos and andy routine.

    “You must don’t have kids”…….

Until black people learn to take themselves seriously, how can we expect and demand others to do the same?

  • MistaO

    Regarding Jena 6

Ummm, not to break up some of yall’s bashing party, but um what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Sheesh, seems we as Black folk wouldn’t be so darn quick to indict our own before ALL the facts are laid out!!!

Folks all crying bout they shouldn’t have supported these young brothers and what not, well next time (and you know there will be a next time) don’t. Just let us solid Blacks carry the weight, we always do anyhow.

And on the same note, have you all seen cases where a white man will use deadly force to protect “property” and the system deems it justified?

Well heck yea, right down there in Texas last year, a white man shot and killed two Black men with a shot gun who he saw coming out of his neighbors home.

And you know what? I agree with this shooting. I do. I had this conversation with my wife and had to put it to her like this: I my neighbor across the street saw two men coming out of my house (through a window, no less) and he knew that those men did not necessarily belong there, went out and told both to stop, and they didn’t, well hell yes, I’d support blowing holes in both.

Why, because we as CITIZENS have the right to protect ones person AND property! Plus, I had to tell wifey, who’s to say those men didn’t just rape and kill a family member in that house? I would do the same for one of my neighbors trust and believe.

So to me, this young man very much had a right AS A CITIZEN to defend his property, just like that white man had the right to smoke those fools coming out of his neighbors house after he told them to stop.

Bump all that waiting on the law and what not, that’s why WE have the 2nd amendment too.

Regarding Mr. Jackson and Mr. Sharpton:

Funny how some black folk buy wholesale into white folks view of both of these great men. Yes I said it, great men.

Also, I bet many of these ole shoe shine negros (like charles) feel this way that is until white folks give them their inevitable “n” wake up call. I always like to see these good ole massa negros come running back to people like Mr. Jackson and Mr. Sharpton when their tit is in a wringer.

I don’t think any conscious Black person belives that “we” don’t have work to do in the accountability forum, but to lump that onto Jackson and Sharpton is not necessarily fair.

Plus, I’ve seen white folk use the “race card” far more often than any Black. For instance, when applying for a home loan, insurance, car loans, business loans, bankruptcy, jobs. Hell that race card has been real good to them huh?

Please show me a case where the jury acquitted someone because they were insulted or threatened, and then retaliated 6 on 1.

Please look at it like this. If a white italian boy was in Harlem, and some brother told him that he was going to beat his white ass to death and then f- his mama. So the white guy goes back to Bensonhurts and gets 5 other pisans and they beat the brother down. IS THIS JUSTIFIED????

@Dink – that list you posted written for Black people back in 1900. Good post, and I’d say all is just as attributable to whites and other races as well today. Blacks arent the only ones out here shiftless and what not, trust and belive.

Oh and yes, Charles Barkley is just one in a long line of closeted self haters. While there may be some truth in some of what he says, (I mean heck, a broke clock is right two times a day), this dude is so clearly a self hating Black.

I know some of yall we are the world types hate this, but just like those old school fathers and mothers who did raise their children right used to say “you can’t talk Black and sleep white”. Now that’s real talk.

  • Kenny

See people the thing is that this board is a microcosm of blacks in this country and in general, I believe. I have to defend us more vigorously from us, then from anyone else. Reading some of these posts I would think thats all white speak proper english own businesses, acted properly in public, were never consumed by materialism and had no bad habits at all. lol, crazy.

Black people dont have, nor have we ever had unity in mass. I mean we are a tribal people, like most people but our tribes are always smaller which is really the huge issue. Even back in Africa we were and still are in tribes, hardly ever in empires. That is why whites were able to take us into slavery in the first place. See the tribe mentality is cool but we dont kno when to join forces to ward off the bigger threat. We cant even identify a threat. Every empire needs an emperor. we need(ed) a leader to unite us. Any body needs a mind.

Yo I got a theory. I think that we need a leader that doesnt come from the church. We need a good black capitolist. This way they wont be held to this HIGH moral standard.

As for the Black capitalists, we got them, but they get no love unless they made their money pushing violence and sex to our children or in sports.

Stanley O’Neal was CEO of Merril Lynch, the epitome of old white money in this country. Kenneth Chennault is CEO of American Express. These brothas came up through the 60′s and 70′s and made themselves into CEO’s. I bet about 3 of the people here even know who they are.

Of course there’s Oprah, but white people like her, so she probably doesn’t count.

  • Common Sense

I agree with Charles, and I don’t want to piss anyone off and get cussed out, but sometimes, as blacks we bring things on ourselves and then want to use race as the reason something happened to us. For instance at my job there is a black woman who is late for work every single day, comes in and tells the entire (almost white office) about the sexual escapades that she participated in until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning and then cry racial discrimination when she gets written up. Well, wake up sista, you are the only person who is late very day and who sits on your cell phone at your desk talking loudly. The thing about it is the white people in our office get written up with a quickness, but because she’s black management tip toed around the whole situation. Now she’s filing a racial discrimination lawsuit and I so hope she loses. Sorry, but no one has discriminated against her. her problems she has brought on herself.

If you think black women don’t run to talk shows and bash black men then you obviously don’t watch TV. What we can both agree on is that it’s wrong, regardless of who does it. In fact you just proved me right in your own actions (Britally disHonest is what I believe you called me, yet I haven’t called you anything other than you screen name). So maybe someone like you is exactly the point I’m trying to make. How about “brother I respectfully disagree with you” instead of attacking me? That would make too much sense now would it?

  • miss thang

See they will ignore the statistics affecting MOST of us to harp on the few instances (Black men being jailed when they are supposed to)that we are NOT concerned with. I don’t understand it. We live in a country that only 30 years ago was giving Black women involuntary hysterectomies, birth control as a means of income, and still throwing rocks at school buses of black children trying to attend newly integrated public schools. Records of over the top police brutality geared mostly towards INNOCENT & NOT SO INNOCENT blacks sparked nationwide debate AND THEN action in police departmens via the government. There has been extensive evidence of the CIA planting drugs in Black communities on purpose…the wrongful death lawsuits for blacks are numerous (thank goodness for DNA testing I guess)..and STILL there are Blacks on here excusing these practices and blaming blacks for them by stating that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time and it is their fault? Wow….

I have also witnessed the lack of care for a black boy in school by the faculty. Did anyone notice how the problem ‘our’ boys are having in schools nationwide only became highlighted when white boys started failing too?

  • NuAgenda

Charles “I only date WHITE women” Barkley needs to sit down for real.

  • Common Sense

    @ Miss Thang,

I don’t think anyone here is debating the history of black oppression in this country. But detailing all the offences against us serves one purpose, to console us when we fail. So it that your goal? To make sure black self-esteem isn’t hurt by the obvious short-comings our achievements?

    Will that help us ascend?

You listed a litany of oppression just now, and you know, it highlights even more how impressive the achievements are of those who made it through those times. Black youth today have it way better than anyone before them, yet we still make excuses for them. If Stanley O’Neal can come out of a little poor Alabama country town with a broken home (in the 50’s and 60’s) and go to Harvard and then become CEO of Merrill Lynch, well then, the white oppression plan ain’t working as well as they hoped; and why the hell aren’t we studying what he and his family did instead of just calling it a “exception’ that we can’t rely on.

Answer this: What’s the surest path to success for Blacks, calling out white oppression and expecting restitution and justice, or putting the onus on ourselves and figuring out how we can pimp the system and make it happen for us?

  • STEFANY

  • miss thang

Common Sense I beg to differ…the advantage blacks BEFORE us had was that they could see the devil and his works. When you have those in power sneaking around (FBI, CIA, ATF, POLICE) in our neighborhoods and hiding their wrong doings we will fail without ever knowing why. Like being told back in the day that you weren’t getting hired because you are Black is different than being told you are not getting hired for a different reason when the REAL reason is because you are Black. The struggle is there it is just harder to identify because public racism is frowned upon by a few….

Now if I understand you correctly..me pointing out the unfortunate racist practices that have helped to hold many Black people back is really what is holding them back? I don’t think so…that is the equivalent of telling rape victims that it was their rape was their own fault for walking to the store, seeking guidance from a priest or staying late after school…

  • http://cutiepie@yahoo.com cutie pie

Common sese…. believe me i see where you are coming from, blacks have done bad things to whites and i dont want to be judgeed by what blacks do , just like i dont think they want to be judged for what they do… but you know and i know whites have done way more horrendous crimes of hate against blacks then the other way around, look at church bombings killing all those black kids, look at the man that was dragged by a truck to death in alabama, and lets dont even talk about how many of our ancesters lost their lives by beatings , hangings and castrating and rapeing and so on, plus lets dont even go into what they did to Emmett Till the boy that was killed in 1955 in Money Mississippi for so called whistling at a white woman. He was tortured so bad , throat slashed and messed up they couldnt even show his body. I wont go on and on but i am not judging white folks who didnt do it only the ones that did…… so dont get it twisted b/c i dont want to be judged by what other blacks do, but alot of times i am, like i cant go into a white store without being looked at like i steal and i dont, a lot of times i feel i am being watched and i dont appreciate it, dont watch me watch the real criminals and they come in all colors, and boy can i tell you some racist stories that go way back and it has all been racism against blacks. I feel white people hate blacks just b/c of a skin color and i dont feel blacks hate b/c of skin color , i feel blacks hate b/c of what has been done to them and for the reasons it was done. (skin color)… so why do they tan if they hate brown skin?????????????????

    Miss Thang,

I don’t see myself like Rape victim. There’s that word again…victim. If it makes you feel better at night to think the white devil is the reason for your failures (not saying that is the case) then so be it. But no one ever made a success of themselves by identifying themselves as a victim. That damn word (like my post said above) is so deep in our psyche, that it’s going to take generations to purge it.

If whitey’s whole goal is to keep us down, then who have so many succeeded? Explain the rise of Obama? Is whitey sleepin on the job?

Son, I know you got all D’s, and I know you hang out with drug dealers. I know you can’t get a job because you have tattoos on your neck and look like a criminal. But you see, you’re a victim, so don’t feel bad. We were destined to lose, because they’ve been holding us back for years. It’s not your fault, you’re like a rape victim. It’s not your fault, you couldn’t have ever made it anyway.

Oh, those knee grows at Ivy League schools and Law Firms? They’re not really black and they got there by doing whitey’s work. You kept it real and black, and they made you a victim for it.

    Miss Thang,

So it helps us how to know that we are victims? Seems to me it only serves to soften the blow when we fall. You can’t go into a fight thinking you’re the victim and win.

That word’s only good for excusing our failures. Funny though, why have the others made it? Did my parents make a deal with whitey that I will only learn about once I turn 40 and sign the house negro pledge? Or did we realize that although America ain’t fair (and F-no, it ain’t), it’s got the wealthiest population of African people in the world (FACT) and that if you want to work hard, stay away from negative people, and abide by the law, you can have a decent life. I never heard these victim negro stories, all I heard was “you’re expected to succeed and failure will not be excused.” Of course, I lived in Disney Land, with all the other successful sellout negros….Silly me

Common Sense…READ WHAT YOU ARE WRITING. Allow me to quote you sweetie:

“Or did we realize that although America ain’t fair (and F-no, it ain’t), it’s got the wealthiest population of African people in the world (FACT) and that if you want to work hard, stay away from negative people, and abide by the law, you can have a decent life. ”

That is the key…MOST (thank God your parents and mine taught us better) don’t even realize the actual power they possess. They are victims of IGNORANCE. Our grand positive history is not even in high school history books. It is up to us to educate, demand, and talk about all of this every chance we have. More knowledge is being lost with each generation and it shows….talk about the good as well as the bad.

what about Romney dropping out of the race?

  • miss thang

it’s a matter of interpretation.. in a society where education may not be viewed as a ‘way out’ we should encourage and praise those who still go that route. Take the kids to graduations…show them that you are happy they are trying and succeeding in school! Black people have been celebrating everything from a good harvest to a new baby…why stop now?

  • Charles still Tomming

Charles, Charles, Charles. Still up to your old tricks from back in the day, when you always had some demeaning comment towards Blk people, (well mainly just Blk women) all in a thinly-veiled attempt to make yourself more palatable to white people. SMH @ this idiot.

  • Common Sense

Miss Thang, (whose opinion I respect and whose civility and thoughtfulness is appreciated),

Speak to someone who played college or professional sports. Ask them if the coach ever said, “we want to win this game real bad, and your going to have to work hard to do so, but just let me tell you, every time we’ve come to this gym, they cheat us. They cheated every year and let me tell you, it will be hard cause they’ll cheat tonight. So if you lose, it probably will be because they cheated.”

No coach would ever tell his team that EVEN if it was true. It’s because you NEVER motivate someone by telling them that it’s usually not a fair fight and they should know that the other team has cheated before.

That instills a sense of defeat before the battle is even fought. You want people to be focused on what they have to do to achieve and make sure they have the discipline to achieve it, THAT is what makes them believe they can achieve. The fact that they know they have worked hard and to the best of their ability and that they have seen other teams before them win in that gym because they worked hard and did the necessary things to succeed. They will go into the game believing in their success because it’s expected and no one told them why they couldn’t.

please don’t tell me that black folk are and should be celebrating 6th grade graduation because it’s some sort of african/american cultural thing. If you get rewarded for doing what you are supposed to, then it negates the desire to do truly great things.

  • …And also

Notice how Charles states that “we have to hold Blacks more accountable for their actions…” WTF? Does he not consider himself Black? As a Black person, when I’m addressing our issues, I say “WE, as Black people…” or “in OUR communities…” because though I may not like some things that go on in our communities/culture, I will never try to seperate myself from my race & speak about it like I’m not a member or as if I don’t belong to it. No one will take my pride out of being a Black person. If a White person had made this comment, the racist undertones he’s using would be more evident to some of you all. Just read his quote & picture if a White was saying this exact comment, you would immediately say it was a racist comment. You would be offended, and we should be just as offended by Charles making them, because he means it in the same way a White racist would. Just cause his skin is Black, doesn’t mean a thing.

Nanah is it. He is not saying that racism does not exist no one is saying that. What he is saying is that for some of the things in our communities like 98.999% is our fault and we have to take responsibility for it. A racist person now does not have to do anything to destroy our race because we have that on lock down. Just take a look at most of our communities. Most of our communities do not have to be the way they are. We can start by taking pride where we live regardless of where it is and keep the streets and buildings clean. That is what I believe he is talking about. Take responsibility for yourself and your community.

  • Shawn08

    @Common Sense

I am reading your posts and notice you are generalizing a bunch on so many levels. Secondly, there are no black leaders, and should not be any. We do not need a black savior; WE HAVE GOD! Pray on it.

I agree we should stop blaming the White man for everything that happens to us. I also believe the oppressed are not oppressed because we don’t like education, are lazy, and never want to accomplish anything in life. Life is never as simple as get off your back and make it happen. You go through so many trials and tribulations that sometimes you feel overwhelmed.

Another thing, it is sad that so many black men want white women. I see it all the time. The reasons for dating white women truly enrage me at times. I do understand black men that just fall in love with white women. What I don’t understand is why black men who date outside their race find it necessary to put their black women down???? It is baffling to me how any black man could ever put down a black woman. First off, black women carried their men when no one else wanted you. Stood by your side. Raised children for you. And comforted you when the white man put you down. And this is the thanks we get??? Black men are running to white women at alarming rates, and forgetting the Queens that stood by them, and had their backs through centuries of time. Wake up black men… Wake up!!! Don’t leave your black queens just because you think they are more pleasing to the eye. They’re only more pleasing to the eye because TV programmed you to think that way! Find the beauty in your black women, and come home like your grandfathers did!!!

  • SickandTired.

Charles is right. Too many of us have settled for the nastiest levels of behavior, then, when we don’t succeed in life, we blame white people.

White people don’t make us have unprotected sex. White people don’t make us have multiple sex partners simultaneously. They don’t make get pregnant as teenagers, or, as unmarried adults.

White people don’t hold the crack pipe to our mouth. Hell they don’t even make us sell drugs.

Some black people engage in self-damaging behavior, without thought about the consequences. Then, when they wake up and realize their mistakes and it lifetime damage, white people are to blame.

Some of us have used racism to justify living an unrighteous life. We only damage ourselves with these nasty behaviors. We destroy our families for generations. We are to blame for not arriving to work on time. We are to blame for not studying long enough for that exam we failed.

Charles is right. Some of us need to take responsiblilty for our individual behavior. We are to blame for the disrepair of our own lives.

White people can and do hate us, but, they don’t control our minds. They don’t control the choices we make. We do, and it’s time we start behaving as rational, logical human beings; and stop affirming the doctrine that the KKK has long spewed about us.

  • Jessica-keeping it real

Messy Jesse is right! I will never forget when he came out against Clinton who he was supposed to be really good friends with and lashed out at him for his behavior with Monica. Then what came out, he had a baby with a woman who was old enough to be his daughter and he tried to pay her off to leave him alone and he didn’t want nothing to do with that child. I was like here he is preaching to us and all this stuff and then he’s going to do something as triffling as that. There is so much dirty laundry in his closet it’s not even funny. And let’s not talk about Al and Tawana Brawley. He payed that girl to say that the police were the ones to rough her up and then they caught him on camera! I have no doubt that something did happen to that girl and her case was loss because of his ignorance. So is Charles wrong for not wanting his name associated with those two- you decide.

say it again! say it again! The most intelligent thing Barkley’s ever said.

  • Ghost

Charles does make some valid points. Jesse and Al do scream race card a lot, however that does not devalue what they have done in the past.

10% of our race knows most of the issues in the black community are our own doing. It’s the 90% that think it’s all the white man’s fault and enforce those stereotypes about us.

You wonder why so many of our black men are in jail and get longer jail terms? Ask these questions-

    1) how many times have the brother been locked up as a minor? I know a boy that has been locked up 25 times and he’s only 12.

    2) Who is he hanging out with? Remember the term “guilty by association”. Does he have the backbone to say no to his friends? I know a boy who had a FULL PAID SCHOLARSHIP & starting spot at Florida State (it was a done deal). He is should be a Senior in college this year. He is now in his 4th year of a 25 year sentence for stealing a car with a child in it. Another boy beat up another one with his friends (got a FELONY charge)-so instead of going to Iowa State on paid scholarship, he’s at Devry and spends free time posting photos on myspace.

    3) Did he do jail time for a family member? You will be amazed at how drugs/guns can get “placed” on a child when cops pop up.

    4) Does he follow his boys? At my school I had boys get into a fight that DIDN’T concern them. They got their butts kicked four times (they kept going back to fight) and 2 got free trips to the hospital. You hang around with losers and you will suffer.

Schools-We want to yell racism, but no one wants to look beyond the surface.

    1) Does your child come to school?

    2) Do they do work or have you (the parent) told your child to be stupid and refuse to do work. And yes this has happen many times.

    3) Schools do make it easy for parents to check on their kids. You just have to GO to the school and set up appointments. We as black folk don’t. We don’t want to follow the laws, we go to the schools to fight and curse out the teachers. We don’t let our kids go to tutoring or ask for help.

    4) If your child is 18 years old in the 9th grade who fault is that?

    5) same as 4 but with the 18 in the 7th grade.

    6) White folks are hoarding money from black run schools. As we have discovered in Dallas, the biggest crooks were black.

I’m tired of hearing how the white man has us down. We are all held accountable for what we do in some form or another.

You do have a mind and don’t have to do drugs or anything illegal.

You don’t have to make kids for welfare checks.

Just because there is a d*ck or a p****y doesn’t mean you have to f**k it. AIDS and children being born out of wedlock is real.

We need to teach ourselvs not everything needs to be posted on myspace and youtube.

Our Sisters need to realize there is nothing wrong with the Nick Cannon/Romeo/Taye Diggs/Urkel or any other educated brother with a job. Big D*ick Tyrone might be good in bed, but if he can’t pay your bills or stay out of jail what good is he?

NOTICE how so many white people accused him of ‘playing the race card’ and accusing him of being a ‘race baiter’ for speaking the TRUTH.?

What does that have to do with the fact that courts all across America are breaking the law and treating juveniles as adults? They could’ve committed thousands of crimes, they MUST be tried accordingly.

I don’t know where you’re from, but here – even criminals have rights. And all juveniles, regardless of race, should be treated as such.

Regardless, I don’t know anybody who claimed they didn’t committ any crimes. I think people steppted up to the fact that they were unfairly treated in the ‘justice’ system – as is minorities all over the country.

Wow @ Ghost, you’ve just about covered it all. Another thing to add to it is that the club is full on Saturday night with people of color and can’t get them to go to church and give God His due service, but we holler about being broke, busted and disgusted all of the time. Do I agree with EVERYTHING Mr. Sharpton or Mr. Jackson says, no, but they have been an integral part of propelling the black community towards fairness in our “United” States justice system.

  • jheart

The issue with the Jena 6 was the neese hanging from the tree, and un-equal punishment. It was understood from the beginning that they were not against punishment. Barkley is afread that they may have came out in support of him,so he has tried to prevent their participation. Barkley will see where he stands when he run and lose, with or without their support. I cannot condem these brothers who fought for our freedom when Barkley or many of the contributors were no where around.

I must admit that I think they are fake leaders too but Sir Charles is speaking about “blacks” like he isn’t one of US. Anyway, they pretty much do hold “blacks” accountable for trivial things like Hip Hop but they don’t really hold “Whites” accountable when it comes to people like KKKramer or Imus. They like publicity more than anything. But Charles must think he’s really White because he dates White women, at least Bill Cosby acknowledges that he is part of the Black community when he makes his comments that are most times true.

I know and you know it exist today and sometimes even more openly than yesterdays. (nooses and crosses are still being burned in some neighborhoods. Not trying to funny but i am no Sylvia Browne but sometimes i see racism in a lot of white folks when they are approaching me. I understand your views and im sure you respect mine, but truth be told i would never date a white person, call me a racist if you want but it is what it is!

  • EZRawlins

“Sometimes the race card is needed but not in every situation.”

What the heck does THAT mean? Who gets to determine when the race card is needed – Charles?!!! This guy makes a comment without any context, any explanation…at least he should provide an example of when teh race card should’ve been used and when it shouldn’t have been used, or an example in which Sharpton & Jackson improperly used the race card.

Anyone on this board that cannot see the apparent injustice of the Jena situation is both blind AND dumb. It is WRONG to prosecute black teens for a crime and not prosecute white teens for the same crime! How is that playing the race card? how si that fair? Whether one of the kids did something today is immaterial; the prosecutor should NOT have prosecuted those black teens for fighting if he wasn’t gonna prosecute the white teens for ALSO fighting.

Cutie Pie, I know it still exists, my point is its on both sides. We are just as racist as whites are. Sounds like you have a great relationship. Ripped… I always love your views and i never teach my child to be racist, I feel a lot of blacks are racist b/c of what was done to them first and only b/c of their skin color. You know and i know that whites are more racist than blacks. One question Ripped… “Does that make me a racist b/c i choose not to date white men” please answer that with sincerity, b/c i never do racist things to whites and i never judge them before i get to know them , i can have a white man as a friend, but am i wrong not to want to date them, is that racist? please answer me back with your opinion! thanks!

  • rachel still sweet 25th/2008

@ ripped shut up your post is stupid, black women are not going out in droves to date white men , which is exactly what white women and black men are doing that is the problem. Not the fact that ONE BLACK PERSON MAY DATE ANOTHER WHITE PERSON. Just when it becomes an epidemic like we have now with black men and white women. Charles barkley hates black women …black people in general he has made that very clear in many tv show and articles. He has to please his white ho wife when he goes home every night and other white people he kiss ass too on a regular. Any black person in thier right mind would be crazy to vote for him.

  • ripped

rachel I appreciate your opinion, even though you didn’t have to be so rude giving it. I don’t know much about Charles Barkley, I think its sad if he does hate black women, I think its sad when anyone hates a whole race of people. I like to date people for who they are not the color of their skin.

Cutie Pie, no I don’t think you are racist because you don’t date white men. Maybe you are just not attracted to them. I just think its wrong to hate people because of their race and I think if someone else wants to date outside their race then its their business and the rest of the world shouldn’t care. But if you choose not to, no, that doesn’t make you racist, in my humble opinion. I always appreciate your input and I’m glad to hear you wouldn’t teach your child to be racist.

@ Ripped, I agree with cutie pie, I dont date out of my race either and i only hate white folks when they bring hatred to me, which is very often. They are the ones who teach their kids to be racist and i agree with cutie the only time they dont act racist is when a white woman dates interracially!
